Unfortunately, this was a very disappointing experience. We are regular customers and order food from this restaurant almost every week. We've always enjoyed the food, which is why what happened today was so surprising and upsetting. We purchased a whole chicken, and when my husband brought it home, I began cutting it to serve dinner to my children. To my surprise, several parts of the chicken were completely undercooked and raw. I have attached photos because they speak for themselves. I immediately called the restaurant and spoke with Carlos, who was very kind, professional, and understanding. He apologized and offered to replace the chicken. I truly appreciate how he handled the situation. Unfortunately, everything changed when my husband returned to the restaurant. The two employees at the front, Paola and Cara, treated him with a very unprofessional and disrespectful attitude. One of them opened the box with the replacement chicken in front of him and sarcastically asked if "this chicken was okay." The other opened the chicken we had returned and insisted that it was perfectly fine and that "this is how it's supposed to be," despite the fact that it clearly contained raw, undercooked meat. My husband felt embarrassed and uncomfortable. At that point, he no longer wanted another chicken--he simply asked for a refund and left. When I learned what had happened, I called back because, by then, the issue was no longer just about the undercooked chicken, but about the way we had been treated. I asked one of the employees for her name, and she refused to provide it. Instead, she hung up on me and told me not to come back to the restaurant. I tried calling several more times to speak with a manager, but no one answered. I finally called from my husband's phone, and Carlos answered again. He sincerely apologized and let me know the manager would be available the next day, and I plan to speak with them directly. I want to make it clear that mistakes can happen. No restaurant is perfect, and we understand that. What is unacceptable is treating loyal customers with sarcasm, disrespect, and a complete lack of empathy when they report a legitimate concern. More importantly, serving raw chicken is not just a quality issue--it is a food safety issue, especially when that food was intended to be served to children. What was even more concerning was that, instead of acknowledging the mistake, your employees questioned us and tried to convince us that the chicken was properly cooked. After being loyal customers for so long, we never expected to be treated this way. I sincerely hope management takes this matter seriously--not only because of the poor customer service, but because food safety should always be a top priority. I hope no other family has to experience what we went through today. read more

I have NO idea why this place doesn't have a 5/5 rating on here like WHY NOT? Every single dish is fire. The lomo saltado, any of the saltados honestly, the seafood soup, the beef hearts, the juice, literally everything. The seasoning is perfection. The sauces are FIRE-- the chimchurri sauce was garlicky and seasoned again to perfection. The green sauce, the mayo, literally all of it. I keep saying the same phrases over and over- I wish I could say sorry ya'll but I can't. Perfection, flavorful, friendly staff, huge portions. There's always a crowd and people enjoying food with their families- that's how I knew it would be good. Just make sure to stop in if you can! read more

we been getting take out here when we are in the mood for Peruvian food. they are usually packed for dine in on weekends so take out is my go to option. I'm not usually a big fan of ceviche especially roselle park ceviche but it's really good here. the portion is large. lomo and chaufa has enough for mini meal preps the next few days. there's plenty of parking at the strip mall. read more

I was sitting about to do my order when I saw the guy who was sweeping and cleaning around the tables, leaving aside the broom and dustbin he was using to grab the trays with napkins and tools wearing no glove at all. Yuck, that was nasty. I left that place immediately. read more

Starting esith ambience, this is a quaint and perhaps underestimated restaurant from the outside, until you go inside... what a nice place!! The decor celebrates peruvian culture with tasteful and modern decor and murals and latin music playing in the background with Spanish channel TVs around the room as well. The Staff is courteous and helpful... although they could use a larger establishment because cleary the popularity of this place is growing and there is definitely a list to be seated. The service and hospitality is so friendly with great traditional peruvian appetizers at every table and a delicious offering of fresh 'chicha' and roasted maize kernels while you wait. Every dish portion was HUGE and well worth the budget friendly price. Two can share a plate here easily with leftovers to take home! The oeruvian season of every cuisine is authentic and on point... every single person in our party of seven was extremely satisfied with their dish. Even vegetarian/vegan options were made available for me upon request. Definitely a new favorite spot for me and my friends/family. And most certainly the BEST pervuvian food in our area to date! read more

The food is very flavorful and delicious! The portions are generous, and the location is good. I've had their ceviche, pollo a la brasa, tallarine, lomo saltado, and soups. Everything on the menu is great. I just wish they had Aguadito soup on the menu every day. Right now. It's just an occasional menu special. The service is friendly and quick. The restaurant small and always crowded. It's right inside a small strip mall, parking is plentiful. I highly recommend this place. read more

As a Peruvian, I love this place and I will NEVER stop coming here. This food is EXACTLY like Peru and that is not an exaggeration at all. I like this location more than their first one, it's great for dining in with family. Their pollo a la brasa is great and I think they even make it better than Peru and i got to compare it when i went to Peru recently! Lomo Saltado is great, not salty. Causa Acevichada was delicious omg, their ceviche was so good and their causa is always good, i've had their causa de atún too and it's great. Arroz con mariscos was perfect, rice is perfect and not mushy, greatly seasoned. Ceviche mixto is delicious too, fresh seafood ALWAYS. Horrible service! I ordered food on Mother's Day and I must have repeated my phone number 4 times to the girl. We go get the food and they said they ran out of a dish. No phone call to ask what we could replace with. I called and asked why they didn't call and they said they called 3 different numbers. I never got a phone call. I even said you should have asked what can they do to replace dish and the "manager" was so rude. Gave me the worst attitude and yelled at me when I told her that her service needed improvement. There are truly no words to describe how terrible the service was. It began with the waitress giving us plastic forks instead of silverware like she gave every other customer. Additionally, people who came after us were given their food before us and yes we ordered the same thing. We ordered a ceviche which they got it all wrong and the waitress was worried more about the bigger table next to us than giving us the decency to give us our drinks and silverware until after the food came. I asked for a non spicy ceviche and got an extra spicy. When it was sent back they definitely just washed the fish off and just added more lime. They did not even considered giving us a new fresh plate of ceviche. In addition, they do not even have any ice and if you want a terrible dinner time for you and your family this is definitely the place for you.
