The local Maine HomeAdvisor recommendations never even contacted me. Jeff used lasers to make sure the slope was right on a very long run. The attention to detail really impressed me. One example are flow diverters on walls to keep the water from going to the house. Also, how beautifully the down spouts were directed to "flow" with the house. They really care that you are satisfied. I have not seen that in a contractor in awhile. The gutters look great. Jeff even made 2 barrel diverters for our house. The gutters and down spouts are held to the house by brackets, not long nails that come loose and accelerate the rotting of wood. And there are a lot of them. We also got the roof extenders to keep the water from dribbling between the gutter and the wood. And we got the FlexxPoint covers for maintenance free gutters. However, as the crew was departing they accidentally backed over a light pole in my driveway. The company owner contacted me and assured me they would cover the entire cost of repairing/replacing the pole and fixture, and that's exactly what happened. The owner was extremely good at communicating, and as I incurred repair costs he promptly sent me reimbursement checks with no hassle, and no need for me to "follow-up" and remind him to reimburse me. As consideration of the effort I put in coordinating the light pole replacement, he also refunded the total cost of the original gutter repair visit. Sometimes, accidents happen. What sets businesses apart is how they handle the aftermath. In this case, I can't say enough good things about this company.
