Shirley runs a no frills hair cutting salon. And this is an awesome thing! I have long fine straight hair that I only ever trim. Literally every place else charges a MINIMUM of $125 to cut my hair the EXACT same way Shirley cuts my hair. Except Shirley charges $28 for the same cut. There is only one person cutting hair and unfortunately I definitely won't recommend this place for women's hair cut. I walked in for a basic hair wash and a trim. They use low grade shampoo and didn't even apply conditioner and a basic blow dry was sub par. overall the hair cut was not good. this place is suitable for men's haircut. but I do want to say the lady is very friendly and nice but I guess I absolutely picked a wrong place for a basic trim. read more

I've been to several haircut spots in the Inner Sunset neighborhood, and this one is the best. Make sure to make an appointment. She usually only takes appointment.
