It was a day when the weather was still recovering from a snowfall. The work ethic here is very customer-focused and professional. Lisa, my nail technician, is meticulous. I usually mention that I've had surgery on my big toe, but she thoughtfully inquired about it while trimming my toenail. I was impressed. I also asked if I could have a certain design and she said "no, this or that would be better." So when we got towards the end I told her I didn't want any design just the polish and then she said she could do the original thing I asked for. I'm not sure if she just didn't feel like doing what I wanted but wanted the extra money or what but it was very frustrating. I am extremely upset walking out because I feel like I was up charged for things I didn't want or ask for and Im walking out not loving the results and this visit was supposed to be very basic and then out to be the same price I normally get when I get something more fancy. I am extremely clear, patient, and nice in these spaces because I know the language barrier can be tough but sometimes I feel that grace gets taken advantage of in this shop.
