Unfortunately, I stopped going after a negative experience with one of the front desk staff (a male receptionist). I had to reschedule a same-day appointment, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. I understand that salons try to avoid last-minute changes, especially when schedules are tight. That said, Nicole had plenty of open slots that day, so it didn't seem like a major issue. What really made me decide to stop coming back wasn't the rescheduling policy - it was his attitude. Rude, condescending, and unnecessarily passive aggressive, especially considering this was the first time I'd rescheduled in years. The tone and way it was handled felt unprofessional and left a bad impression. Since then, I've been going to Cosmo Blue, just a few blocks away, and the experience has been better. Friendly staff, professional service, and no attitude. A colleague of mine recently mentioned having a similarly unpleasant interaction with the same receptionist (different issue, same bad attitude), which prompted me to finally write this review. An Interesting Experience- I booked a hot lather shave…read morethrough their website (which uses a third party app- Vagaro) with Fritzi for $30. Upon arrival Fritzi checked me in and proceeded to have a side bar conversation with another Barber, Frank- to which I could not hear the conversation but Frank than stood up and informed me that he would be doing my shave. No explanation as to why the change. Frank did an OK shave- nothing 'hot' applied to my face. He charged me only $25- again no explanation.
