WORST NAILS EVER. I got an acrylic full set that was terrible they offered to redo them free of charge but I just wanted a refund. They said they would not do that and only offered another set for free. I did not want another set based on how these came out. And they could've cut these nails right off they were horrible anyway. The lady was rushing the whole time, keep in mind I had an appointment and was NOT a walk in. Very disappointed, the pictures are not what you get... I don't get pedicures often because of my budget but when I do, I hope it's a nice experience. This was Rushed and not relaxing. Yes it was a 'regular' pedicure not a spa, but there was no pedicure scrub (he scrubbed my calves and shins) no massage just a quick lotion rub, hot towel (on one leg not the other) and 32 mins later he was done and my nails were just okay. read more

Tony always does a great job on my gel manicures! This is the best nail salon in the area. They have cat eye magnetic gel as well as chrome powder. They are always considerate and careful not to cut your skin. I will continue to come back! read more

I don't even know where to start. We popped in on the chance of walking in with me, my 6yo, and my 3yo. I hadn't had a mani/pedi in three years and the situation was getting desperate. They got all three of us in right away! Woohoo! We were treated like princesses by Amy and Ivy. My kids enjoyed picking their colors and some easier designs for tiny nails, then sat better than I've ever seen them sit for anything in their lives. They kept exclaiming how much they like the spa treatment. Ivy really went above and beyond with my kids, even ducking under the desk to get to my 3yo's teensy toes. She got some delicate hearts on her ring fingers and big toes and is beyond thrilled with them. My 6yo went with stripes and dots "like a bumble bee" and is ecstatic with the result! I was a walk in at the Boutique Nail spa about 6 weeks ago - I needed a grown out dip manicure removed. The place looks great and my nail technician was very friendly and efficient - she did a beautiful job of shaping my nails and I was surprised at how fast she removed the dip. I didn't want polish but she told me that the removal made my nails a little dull and suggested a clear nail polish. I accepted. I tipped well and left with my nails looking great. I was super happy until a few days later when I removed the polish - to find that big chunks of the dip hadn't been removed on most of my nails. It is now six weeks later and they still look bad. This is very disappointing. I can't believe they would hide a shoddy job under polish. I won't be returning to this place and would not recommend it. read more

No flexibility when you are sick and call to reschedule, I called to reschedule because I tested positive for COVID on a Sunday and my appointment is for Monday. There is no way to call on Sunday if they are closed, so because a rescheduled once because of a business trip they put a note in the profile... so they asked me to paid in advance??? What do I have to do, go there with COVID to do my nails and spread my germs to everyone or better yet go with the positive test results as evidence to prove that I'm sick and receive the service anyway. read more

Decent gel fill manicure but when it came time to polish, disaster ensued. I only asked for French but she seemed like she had no idea how to do one no matter how many pictures I showed her or how much I explained. She smeared polish on her hands and got it on my palms which she tried to remove by nipping off my skin. read more

First visit was a breeze. I called and got a same day appointment as timing didnt matter. Their contact free check in iPad made it easy to let them know who I was as a first timer. Everyone was polite and friendly. I made appointments for both myself and a biological male friend who wanted purple glitter, nail polish, without any comments or surprise about his choice. They just did what we asked. The price was higher than I'm used to as a resident of Philadelphia, but reasonable for the area. Back home, my nail technician puts on a gel topcoat, even though I get dipped nails because it helps extend the life of my manicure. Here they do it automatically, which I appreciated because there was not an up charge. I believe the dipped nails were $45 and they charge an additional five dollars to soak off my friends, old dip nails. I have every intention of going back there again and maybe will keep it as my regular salon depending on how things go. I'm a week and a half into this manicure and they pretty much look brand new. read more

I have been here twice now and have had basically the same experience each time. Both times I got a manicure, both times the manicure has started to chip within HOURS of me getting them done. Now, I know that it's not a gel manicure, but really? Currently third day after them being done and almost all of the polish is chipped off. I went on a Saturday morning, and it seemed to have been a day care for their kids than a nail salon. They were running all around the place, sitting and playing on the pedicure chairs, and I hope they change the sheets for the waxing station in front of you! The kids would routinely sit on the waxing station and play with the lighted mirror. I would not recommend their services. Next time I am in town I will be finding another salon. This place is the BEST place I've ever gone to to get my nails done. The girls are all so friendly and all are amazing at what they do. Got cuticles?? They take their time and get every last bit off. Once one of the girls was painting my nails and saw that she missed a tiny bit of cuticle (I wouldn't have even noticed)...she stopped what she was doing to go back and get it, rather than paint over it like 90% of all other places I've been to would have. They take their time and do a great job, every time. Without fail, no matter who I get, I leave feeling completely satisfied and in a great mood. I only wish I could say that I have had the same positive experience as others have at this establishment unfortunately, I have not. Why is this? It is because I have never been able to get an appointment at this salon. On three separate occasions I have been ignored or turned away. On my first, I was a walk-in, placed my name and number on the list and was told it would be 30 minutes. I went to do errands and came back 30 minutes later to be told they would call me. I never received a call back and when I called to inquire, they did not have my name. In the second instance, I made an appt by phone, arrived and was told they had no record of my reservation! Today, I walked in hoping with all my might that they may have time for a finger fix as I was shopping in the plaza. I was told bluntly "no time today, very long wait, we are busy with others." While I can certainly understand not being able to accommodate a walk-in or finger fix, the level of rudeness is unnecessary. Each time I have contacted this salon, it is the same young man - he has never been even pleasant or tried to be accommodating in anyway. This is sad as it looks like a nice place, closer to my home than my current salon and it seems to have a bustling business. Would love to give them mine but after today, I'm going to walk away - and I will not recommend them to others. read more

I moved to Lambertville in September and this was the closest nail salon I could find. After several average gel manicures, I had a very bad experience. The nail technician cut my nails WAY too short, and globbed on the gel very unevenly. When I pointed out the unevenness of the manicure she put yet another coat on. As soon as I got home two nails had already started peeling up in the corners. I called the salon right away and in a very angry tone demanded to see the owner when he was in next. Not only was the nail technician who answered the phone VERY polite but she was extremely accommodating and offered to redo the manicure free of charge that same day or whenever I could make it in. I went in the following day and my manicure was redone to perfection - free of charge. From this experience and what I have observed there, this salon is extremely customer satisfaction oriented. That being said, there are definitely several technician that are obviously their top technicians. I will definitely be going back to this salon and will also schedule appointments with specific individuals. read more

i normally love this place but I haven't gone in a while due to covid. i just went there for the first time in moths, very excited because i know they are good there. I had a new girl do my nails but i was not upset by it. first she asked me if it was my first time there and not in a normal tone or way to ask that. she asked me that in a judgmental and rude tone. i had expressed that I have been there multiple times as i used to go there every other week after high school. I usually make appointments last minute, and they always take me. They're a great salon so expect them to be busy, especially if you're a walk in and allow plenty of time for your services. I want to say I love this place, because I did for a long time. I went there every two weeks for about a year and a half - acrylic fills, and at least monthly pedicures (even in winter, because I travel a lot for my job). They did a good job, and were friendly. Up until about a month ago, my assessment would be at least 4 stars - from time to time, little quality issues, but ones I could fix with my own emory board. The Saturday before Easter, I had an appointment for a fill and gel pedicure, and specifically requested at appointment time that I was filling both pink and white. When I got there, they seem to have taken walkins, and I waited about 15 minutes before my pedi started. Then, when finished, had to wait another half hour before my fill - at this point (nearly 90 minutes in) when he started doing just a pink fill, I figured "oh well - bad day for them, no biggie" - finally got out of there (so much longer than normal that I had to go top off the meter mid way) and really thought - one bad day out of a year and a half, no big deal. So fast forward 10 days, and I call to get a new appointment. When I identified myself to Mike, he hung up on me. I thought it has to be a mistake - I called back, and he didn't answer. I was about to move, but still intended to drive an hour each way every couple of weeks. Well - I found a place right around the corner from my new place - and in comparison, this woman is fastidious! Amazing how a nail place would reject me because I had the gall to complain that I make appointments for a reason - very disappointed, and cannot recommend them to anyone ever again. If you are in a bind - there are few places around there - by all means go. BUT don't ever complain about anything! The soup nazi of nails has arisen! read more

I am a very loyal customer to this salon for several reasons. I get acrylic refills, gel polish and Mike always takes care of me and does an amazing job every single time. I make last minute appointments and they can almost always accommodate. I also have sensitive skin and have no problems with their waxing products, they get me in and out so fast and my skin is hardly irritated! I went to Boutique Nail Salon a week ago for a pedicure. I had decided on a whim to get my toes done for the first time this season and went here (despite some negative reviews) because there was some really good positive feedback from other Yelpers and it is really close to where I live. The place is very clean with a whole line of new massage pedicure chairs on the side wall. As a walk in without an appointment, I just showed up and, oops, realized I had arrived about ten minutes before they opened. No problem, there was a girl there prepping the chairs and already a gentleman sitting for a pedicure. She told me to pick out a color and the other staff would be there shortly. The pedicure was pretty thorough. I prefer a deeper foot/leg massage than what I got, and I have some intense callouses that could have used a heavier hand, but I didn't feel neglected. I think the girl was just gentler than some other technicians I've seen. She was wonderfully meticulous about trimming and painting my nails, which I appreciate. The price was decent too: $25 for a pedicure is exactly what I would expect to pay. In response to the reviewer who said her nail polish chipped off within a day, my toes still look like they've just been done and it's a week later. Maybe it was just bad luck? I'll be back and I plan to try a manicure next time. read more
