    Trash can in disgusting pond
    Noelle C.

This course was $10 per person to play the putt putt course. It is evident there has been zero TLC to this course. The only thing stopping me from giving this course one star was the fact it got the job done has a putt putt course. It had zero pleasing aesthetics to it, the pond water needed lots of chlorine or filtering and the waterfall seems it hasn't been power washed since it was installed. If you're looking for an aesthetically pleasing course this is not it. The trash can in the water was comical but on a real note it was kind of pathetic to see. There was also quite a lot of litter around the course. With a little TLC and basic maintenance, this course would have been worth $10 a person.

Great 18-hole course with trees, water features, and interesting layouts. Some holes needed carpet replaced. It was $9 per person.

My son was told by the cashier to ask the guy at the go-karts if he was tall enough. So my 9 year old explained that the cashier told him if he could reach the pedals he could drive, and then asked if he could drive. The guy was quite nasty and told me son "if you know you aren't tall enough why are you asking!?" Um, BC the cashier told him to! Is that anyway to speak to a 9 year old. He scared my kid and he was almost crying. If you work at a place w kids , be nice to kids! We played mini golf, which was fine, the course is a bit run down and doesn't have much shade. It's ridiculous hot here so it was kinda cranky and unpleasant

Family fun place with go karts, putt putt, bumper cars & a game room with snack bar. No fancy stuff like in nags head, but a sweet little family run roadside attraction.

Thanks TJ for a great time of go karting! See you again soon!

I have had better put put experiences, but decent for the area. Went off season but still kept well.

This place offers great ways to spend some time if you're not on the beach! Mini golf, go-carts, and food are reasonably priced.

Crazy go karts you fly around the track and they go hard. Golf is okay but the go karts are definitely the move.

2person track is super bumpy and jerky. Bumper cars hardly work. We don't go unless Roger is working. He is the best!

You have your choice of places down here to go, but I highly suggest coming here. We showed up and found out that there could be up to a 20 minute wait to proceed in line. With the staff telling us that up front, we appreciated that. There wasn't any misleading here. I really enjoyed they told us this and appreciated that. Even though you could tell the employees were uncomfortable having to keep saying it to every customer. What is unique about this is that even though you have to wait, there is a putting green in an area before the course starts. So even though you may not get to start your game as soon as you pay, you can still do a little putting. Then the course starts for you. Even though there area a ton of people, it flows. As the group ahead of you finishes a hole, you start. This happens for each hole. You are constantly moving. You ascend, you descend. You follow the footpath and arrows. The theming here is on point as well. The whole pirate theme is carried through nicely. Especially around the Jolly Roger. The water cannons simulating cannonballs being fired. The multiple waterfalls. Also keep your eyes open for some local history. Throughout the course there are informational plaques. Take a moment to read them. Also available is an arcade. Some items in the gift shop. And ice cream.

It is currently 11:20am and no one is answering the phone. The line is about 30 PO'd people making alternate plans now and still no signs of life other than the first sighting of an employee. Would not suggest counting on this place to plan family entertainment as they seem to struggle with reading a clock or answering a phone. Oh wait... employees are carrying out box but won't answer the simple question of when they will open. It's 11:30 am. But wait, there's more..... So, about 5 minutes after a group of about 15 left and we were on our way back to the car, they opened the doors. I grabbed a few shots of the broken down machines but more importantly let me explain a critical piece of how this place works. We selected the option of buying 200 tokens for $50.00. Our 2 15 yr olds blew through them in about 45 minutes and that's being generous. Why? Because many of the games took 7, 12, and 20 tokens to play a single game! Another point to raise is that they never opened the laser tag game while we were there. This place was a great disappointment and if you wonder why their Google reviews are so high, they give you $5.00 off for a good review.

I went here with my boyfriend and his extended family - our group of 13 (ages across 3 generations)…read moreeasily spent almost 2 hours here and we golfed pretty efficiently! This course was one of the most enjoyable and scenic courses I've ever had the pleasure of playing at. Many of these holes were creative and doable as well. And during one of the holes where there's a chance your putt putt ball can fall into the water, there's a grate to catch it. The prices are pretty great, at $14/person for the first round and only $6/person for the second round (for golf at least). The only thing we could really give feedback on was that the train was broken at the time, but they were communicative with us about it and it didn't affect how much we could play. We could still easily access the upper levels of the course just fine, and even our elderly players walked up the steps and slopes fine as well. Some of the "mineshaft" looking areas were pretty warm and stuffing (just a warning!), though. Overall, it's a really enjoyable and nice place to go to with groups. It's one of the larger activity-based attractions on the island, so depending on when you go, it can get quite busy. The ambiance was lively, though, and it drizzled a bit (I like a little rain). They also had go-kart raceways and water boats, too! We'll definitely be coming back to enjoy all the activities in its entirety :)

We tried their go-karts, bumper boats, and 18 hole mini golf course. We go-karted first. I couldn't hear any of the instructions and had to come back to get a back seat to be able to drive better (I highly recommend getting the extra back cushion if you're on the shorter side). It's a very short course, so the laps get repetitive, but we still had fun. We tried the bumper boats next. I didn't enjoy this one as much because my boat's motor was broken and I couldn't move, so I got stuck in corners if people didn't bump me. I did enjoy spraying my family friends though. The mini-golf here is harder than it looks! We had a great time trying all the different courses. Some things felt in need of love or an update, but this didn't take away from the mini-golf experience. Overall, we had a fun evening here.

This little park was not something that I expected to see in this area but when you think about it,…read morethe idea is very smart and really serves a purpose for both tourists and locals. The below page from AB's website shows that this place is only two years old and that its $1.6 million dollar cost was done as a public/private partnership. I've been to many beaches up & down the east coast and I honestly can't think of an area that has something quite like this. atlanticbeach-nc.com/departments/parks-recreation/ ABTP offers the following: Free live music on Thursday nights from mid-June thru August. Free family friendly movies (with the exception of them showing Jaws last month which was an interesting choice with the shark attack that happened in June at Fort Macon) on Wednesday nights June thru August. Skate Park Splashpad Playground/swingset Basketball Court Minigolf for $5 per person and it's free for ages 6 and under The main building which sells snacks & concessions and has restrooms along with free Wifi. The concession area and the golf are open 10-10 daily and it goes without saying that they are closed along with things like the splashpad seasonally. Compared with beaches in New Jersey or Maryland, Atlantic Beach is very understated in the amenities that it offers but I don't think that is necessarily a detriment. If you want all the bells and whistles it's not that much further to go to Myrtle or head north to KDH or OCMD and you'll find what you're looking for. But if you want quiet and relaxed with a very nice small town "homey" feeling then this is the spot you want. A+
