Came by for an estimate for full tint including front windshield. We were getting ready for a 10 day road trip and with the hot beating sun, we wanted to maje sure we had the tint done before we drove on the road and headed up North. We spoke with Mike, he is very knowledgeable and he explained everything down to the T, we were ready to do the tint but he told us that he was fully booked and the next appointment would be available six weeks from that date. They do good work, but there are some hurdles. First, their initial quote is high, and only when you get another quote elsewhere will they charge the going rate for the job. Second, they sometimes cancel at the last minute. In this case, we had already paid (too much) for them to tint the rest of the car. We forgot to ask that the glass sunroof be tinted as well, so called them for an appointment to tint that, after the initial tinting was just done. We planned around that appointment, then called other tinting places to compare costs, and found out this place was planning to charge twice what other area places quoted. We called back, and they agreed to match the going rate. Then on the day of the appointment, they called and said they had to cancel the appointment, as they were overbooked; but, if we would agree to come in another day, they would do it for free. Clearly this was not necessary, but we felt that since we overpaid for the original tint of all the windows (by them), it must be their way of trying to make us happy. We moved other appointments around to accommodate them, took it in to be done, waited, and were charged the original amount. When asked why they said they would comp it when they canceled the appointment, they blew it off, saying that they must have been thinking of someone else when they called us. They eventually agreed to give it to us for 10% off...hardly what they promised. So, we do recommend them; but they play fast and loose with prices, so get estimates elsewhere before going to them. read more

Over the years, I like many of you have had several vehicles. The car I brought in today was a little different. This is my daily driver but it's also my dream car. Knowing that, I don't just trust putting tint or work into or on this vehicle that wouldn't live up to the function needed. To add a little more to that, I'm a little bit older and functionality is more important over privacy. Skipping to the end, I made the right choice with Frisco Tint. After a very thorough and complete pre-evaluation process, I narrowed down to two choices. The Owner, Mr. Ho and I settled on the ceramic film. 25% all around, with 5% on the back window. To make it icing on the cake, I did the sunroof in there highest level film. Again, I was not disappointed in the least. Please let the pictures speak for me. Got tint on the whole car (except the windshield) in under 90 min. 20 days ago, I got one car window tinted at another place in Frisco and not 100% happy. The other window tinting place charged me sales tax on material AND labor. I was suspicious and thought they should've charged me sales tax on material only. When I visited Frisco Tint, I reviewed the itemized receipt and planned to protest if they charge me sales tax on labor. Well, guess what? They passed my test and indeed only charged sales tax on material. Then I asked them, how much for just one window? They quoted me much lower price than the other shop I went to. That day, I had brought my car here, but Frisco Tint was closed due to family emergency. So I went to other place. Should have just waited and get it done elsewhere. 3 days after we installed the window tint, my husband noticed a slight, straight scratch on the driver side trim. Looked like a razor blade cut to the trim. Went back to Frisco Tint, only to be told they don't use razor blades and they don't do mistakes like this. Don't use this place. Have reached out several times to get quotes and almost a week later no response. They got stupid over priced ceramic tint. You can go to Harry Hines or any other decent tinting place and they will use the same material ceramic tint these clowns use but charge you a reasonable price. Just cause their based in frisco, have an expensive monthly lease they have to pay on their building so they gotta up charge an insane amount. Taking advantage of the wealthy people. I'm happy to take my business elsewhere. What's crazy too is I'm subcontracted to 25+ different dealerships around frisco/Plano/Dallas area. I run their websites, you would not believe how many of them ask me for recommendations for good tinting locations. I told every dealership to stay FAR FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! I got my 2018 tacoma tinted here and it turned out really great. I made sure to call and make an appointment ahead of time and i was surprised at how quickly the appointment went. I think it took around 30-45 mins in total to choose the tint and get it applied for my two front windows. The guy working the front desk was kind and the work that the shop did looks great with no weird edges or lines in the film. The tint is still holding on after a month and showing no signs of failing. Idk what the average price for tinting is but i paid $118 to get my two front windows tinted at 30% with their mid level tint. I think it was worth it bc its a lot cooler in my truck on sunny days. *Updated 11/17/2018* When my leased WRX came due for lease-end, I leased a new 19' BRZ and only thought to go back to Frisco Tint for my ride Once again, I was blown away with the speed and quality of the tinting job they did for me. I asked for 30% on my drivers & passenger side windows, the small back rear side windows and rear back window 15%, as well as a windshield strip at 15%. They gladly accepted their 10% website coupon this time and I expected to have my car there for at least 2 hours. They told me an hour and they got my car done in exactly an hour! My car was actually cleaner when I got it back. I was able to remove the window sticker from the passenger side window but unfortunately I left some residue on the window, they told me no problem at all when I dropped off the car. They are really meticulous about Re-cleaning the windows even if you cleaned them yourself. They want to make sure that there is no dust or debris on the window when they instal your Tint. Everything came out perfect and couldn't be happier. If they wanted to vinyl wrap my car with their shop logo or send me free vinyl decals... I would proudly rock them all over DFW! I attached photos to show the quality of the work. As long as you go legal on your front driver passenger windows you will get the compliance built in Tint badge that proves compliance. I have never been pulled over for my tint that Frisco Tint installed. Their front desk host "Jasmine" was professional and made sure to address all my questions! Scheduled my appointment over the phone on Wednesday and they were able to accommodate my request for a Saturday appointment. Check. I came in and Mike (the owner) very courteous asked me what I was looking to do with my car and showed me the different levels of tint applications they offer. I've had plenty of cars tinted before (NY, & NC) and have always gone for the basic privacy tint nothing special. Based on his recommendation and the fact that I live in Texas where it gets hot beyond belief I went with the midlevel tint that includes the heat reflection (tint contains aluminum). He provided advice and was not pushy at all. He even demonstrated the light/heat difference with a display in the front lobby. Professional..Check! Check! He told me that it would be roughly a 90 minute wait which I thought was pretty fast as I've always had to drop off my cars at prior tint places (and leave it there for a whole day or until they called me) even if I got there before the places open or even if i was first in line. I read online that Frisco Tint was fast but they were as quick if not faster than what people have said in online reviews. They are Fast but do not sacrifice quality Check Check Check While he was working on the tint, he came out twice to ask me if I wanted a water to drink (I declined) but it was nice that he even asked! Bonus What I loved after he was done, I looked at my car and I was impressed that it basically came out as clean as I brought the car. No water drop stains on any of my car interior doors or seats at all. There were a few water droplets on the exterior of my car near the side skirts but not really noticeable. I've had my prior cars tinted and have always had the need to go get my car washed inside and out after a tint job but not at Frisco Tint! Super Clean Job Last but not least, I had noticed that they have a 10% Off coupon for any tint application job. Their website didn't say that it needed to be printed and I just let him know I saw the coupon on his site and he had absolutely no problem adding it. He didn't even flinch! Only thing I would recommend to Frisco Tint is to have a TV in the waiting area that's hooked up to cable tv or satellite to watch while you wait. I was pointed this direction due to the fact that they install the high quality ceramic tint and wanted to give it a go. I got it installed on my sedan and it has been great! So far I haven't had any issues with discoloration, bubbling, etc. During the summer months it kept the heat out and cold in. No complaints from the kids and I didn't have to blast the a/c. It's Texas we all have tint on our cars, does it really matter what tint or who installs it? Well yes, yes it does. Today I took my new 2019 F-Pace in to get the windshield (yes the windshield) and the panoramic roof coveted in window film along with my front two windows. After a though search and many phone calls, I found the best solution right in my backyard, today I'm with Mike Ho owner of Frisco Tint in Frisco, TX he and his professional team will be doing the work. There are several reasons that I chose Frisco Tint they are in this order Customer Service Products used Price There are lots of window films (you notice I didn't say tint) on the market, what separates the windows films are the UV protection, the heat rejection, the durability, and the dyes in the film. Mike only uses LLumar Window film, I asked him why and what he told me is, it's simply the best, and I can take care of all our customers with the same level of protection for what is likely there second largest investment behind buying their home, when I have a client with a Bentley, Ferrari, McLaren, or Jaguar, Mercedes, BMW or Ford, Chevy, Toyota, they are all getting the same high performance window film. What I wanted was to keep the inside of the my car cool in the Texas heat. My Jaguar F-PACE with such a large windshield and the glass panoramic roof I was thinking it might be like a solar oven. Well Mike recommend the Llumar Air 80 for the windshield and the CTX 15 for the glass roof. Yes you can put window film on your windshield usually the biggest piece of glass on your car and the one that lets in the most heat. The product they installed blocks 99% of the UV light, so it will not fade my interior and will help keep my face from getting wrinkles, and it will block almost 50% (43% to be exact) of the solar energy, also know as the hot ass sun. The other glass roof was done with CTX 15 this will still let the light in, however will block a true 50% of the suns heat. Both also use nano ceramics for scratch resistance and heat block, it will not block your mobile device like some other metallic window films will, a friend got his car done at what he thought was a good place and with again with what he thought was good tint, and could not get a signal in his car between the heated windshield and metal window film, he did not find out until much later and after lots of expense to him he replace the window film and problem solved. The other plus is Mike backs up his work with a Nationwide lifetime parts and labor warranty for widow film and 100% no bubble up or fading. While some places use there best guess in cutting the window film for your vehicle, Mike uses a CNC film cutter so each pice fits like a glove. ( a really good glove not an O.J. Simpson at trial glove) the shop is clean, very well lit and fully air conditioned, this tells that he takes care of his employees, so I guess it's a fun place to work also. The last thing was cost, there is always a cost. After making several phone calls and stopping by a few paces the price I was quoted was the best by far, in fact I think Mike could raise his prices and still get plenty of business, because of the service and quality of work, he told me that he likes to take of his customers, that way when they get a new vehicle or friend gets new car they come back, and after 12 year in business at the same location and an A+ BBB rating I think that speaks for itself. read more

They damaged a small portion of my door panel, which apparently happens when you are removing it to do the tint. It was very inconspicuous and there is no way I would have noticed it for a long time.
