Hernan did a great job on tinting all the windows, back and front windshields including Panoramic Sunroof on my RX450h+. 3M Ceramic IR tint made my RX looks awesome and helps a lot with the heat especially during Texas summer. And my eyes UV protected as well. I will definitely come back to Hernan for our new CRV. He has reasonable price, and he is doing it at my garage.

I got 30% tint all the way around except for the front windshield.

Had a great experience getting the windows on my Porsche tinted by Hernan. His work is absolutely excellent--clean, precise, and professional. His attention to detail is excellent, all the surfaces were wiped down and looked exactly as they were before he started. Hernan is also friendly, responsive and easy to work with. He walked me through the tint options, answered all my questions, and made the whole process smooth and simple. He is really nice but very High prices. He is charging $449 for the windows. $399 for windshield. $400 for roof. That is absolutely Ridiculous. Other shops are charging $299 whole car 199 for windshield and roof. Shop around before calling and booking with him read more

I would like to first say THANK YOU! to Hernan. This was my first time having a mobile tint do a tint on my car. At first the decision was based on great Yelp review, pricing and the convenience of not taking your vehicle to a shop leave it there and comeback later or the next day. Hernan arrived on time as scheduled, he provided me a clear estimate of cost and install time and even worked within my schedule. His attention to detail and extreme passion for quality work was just incredible. Hernan expertly applied the ceramic (Sun Tek) tint on my son's Honda Civic Type R and the install was even better than tint work I had done on my other cars including my high end ones. It is the best tint work I have seen! He even stayed longer to inspect every little detail of the tint work and showed me every step. He uses a complete set of tools and materials and his mobile van has more stuff needed to complete a high quality work than most actual shops including graphic print machines. I was thoroughly impressed by his attention to detail, quality but even more so of his kindness and professionalism. How I wish I had all my cars tinted by Hernan. Now I have someone to go to in the future for expert tints. Give Hernan a try you will be extremely happy you did! Alta Mere in Plano Literally Saved Our Lives -- Forever Grateful…read more Back in 2019, I brought my vehicle to Alta Mere in Plano for a clear front windshield tint. I never imagined that a routine upgrade would one day make the difference between life and death, for both myself and my daughter. Fast forward to 2025. While driving northbound on Highway 75, two vehicles were racing southbound. One lost control, crossed five lanes, and slammed into the center median. The impact shattered the concrete barrier, sending massive chunks of debris and twisted vehicle parts hurtling into oncoming traffic, directly at us. Our vehicle was struck multiple times. Concrete boulders and flying metal slammed into the windshield. But thanks to the clear tint Alta Mere installed years earlier, the glass held. It didn't shatter. It didn't send shards into our faces. And those deadly projectiles didn't make it into the cabin. Without question, that tint saved our lives. Today, we returned to Alta Mere to have another clear windshield tint installed. Walking back into that shop felt like coming full circle. I'd done lengthy, months long research on where I could get my vehicle re-tinted and decided on…read moregetting it done with Alta Mere. Scheduling my appointment was smooth and I was pleasantly surprised when I was able to book an appointment the same week. The day of my appointment i was helped by Emma who had excellent customer service. Emma thoroughly explained the tint levels, results and pricing and lastly let me know of the lifetime warranty on the tint which i was pleased about. Unfortunately, I was unable to get all windows tinted because I was unaware one of my passenger windows no longer rolled down but Emma advised they would gladly tint it once I got it fixed and they did just that. So now all my windows are tinted and weeks later I noticed an area on my back window was peeling and bubbling; I allowed the recommend time to pass to see if it would fix itself but when it didn't i called back and set an appointment right away to have the spot looked over. During my time there Elmer asisted me and he also had excellent customer service, he came out and looked at my car and explained a plastic piece located on my back window cause the tint to push back but they would get me right and redo it. When my vehicle was done, Elmer explained they worked the plastic in a way to ensure it doesn't mess my back window tint up again. I admittedly was not thrilled about having to go back a third time but everyone i interacted with was kind, they were happy to assist me and I really appreciated how they made it so my tint would hold up on my back window. Blue star called me and gave me a quote for $360, he explained that most businesses use the camera recalibration as an excuse to up charge and that he wouldn't be disconnecting any wires when replacing my windshield. I was a bit skeptical at first, I was worried I would have to go get my camera recalibrated. (I have a 2022 Honda Accord). It's been 2 and a half weeks since I had it replaced and I've had no issues, camera still works just as good! Tony and his wife Lisa were who we spoke with and who worked on our Model 3 (2021). Tony himself was the actual installer and to say he went "above and beyond" is an understatement. First off, they were able to get us a great deal for the top-of-the-line XPEL XR Plus tint on all glass surfaces. This meant they did all the windows, the glass roof, even the windshield itself - apparently they are able to put an almost clear layer so it doesn't impact visibility that also still manages to block out a TON of heat. Second, when they first checked over the vehicle, they found a handful of flaws I had not seen (we had just gotten the vehicle only days before deciding we wanted to get tint installed before the summer really kicked off), and showed us before ever getting started to put us at ease with how they were going to handle the vehicle and let us know up front of any issues they found. Third, when Tony got to work, he actually noted that at some point some of the paneling had been hastily re-set into place, and was not correctly re-installed... so he took it upon himself to properly correct the issue, bending fasteners that were not correctly attached into their intended positions... meaning when they gave us the car back, not only was the tint installed perfectly, but the car was technically in even better shape than when we picked it up directly from Tesla's own shop in Dallas since now all the internal panels had been fastened as designed from the factory itself! They even registered the warranty for the XPEL tint so we didn't have to worry about any sort of future coverage should any issues occur with the film itself. In the past, I've gone with other tinters and I've had issues come up years later with peeling, cracking, and tearing, but I have a feeling that this is not going to be happening with Tony's work. I don't think we'll be going anywhere else but Tony's from now on. Now we just need to get a time where we can be without the vehicle for a few more days so we can get PPF + Ceramic coating installed on the body. In summary, if you want your vehicle tint installed professionally by some hard-working honest folks who know their craft really well and care about quality - go see Tony and his wife Lisa.

Before we found Sonrise, even with the AC blaring in our car, it was still super hot in the car. And certainly when we first get in the car, all the touch points were scorching hot. Our toddler would be fussy and upset and complain constantly that her back was hot in the carseat. We searched for window tint companies and found Sonrise. We made a phone call and Steven was quick to answer. He thoroughly gave me an education on the different kinds of materials available and the pros to each material choice. He answered all my questions and concerns and was super accomodating to our schedule since we needed to tint two cars. On the day of the work, he showed us the different shades and explained what it would look like in the evening time with each tint darkness. He helped us pick out the right shade of tint for our cars. And even showed us how the front windshield they use a helpful visual. He tiend on a lught that imitated solar energy. And showed us a meter showing the read. And how with the front windshield tint they use it drastically lowers the solar energy allowed in the car. It's been 4 days since our windows and front and back windshields got tinted. We definitely experience a drastic difference in getting back in a parked car. It is way cooler. And my eyes arent hurting from too bright light anymore. Thank you Sonrise for taking such great care of us!!

I hired gotinting for my Tesla model S. I was looking for something good and inexpensive. luckily they provide carbon film. In the past, I have tinted my vehicles using ceramic and 3M films that are overpriced due to high demand but I learned my lesson. Install carbon, its great quality, look and heat protector. Michelle and installer was very helpful and worked in my garage, no need to go to a shop that was very NICE. I will definitely use then again. read more
