I called Frisco Tint they same day I wanted my front windows tinted and despite being fully booked, he offered to fit me in a couple hours later. The price was very reasonable, too. When I arrived, I was greeted promptly and he took a look at the car, explained that he couldn't legally tint the front as dark as the back, showed me what he could do, and took my car. I was impressed with the cleanliness and professional demeanor of the shop. Twenty minutes later I walked out with a great tint job. He clearly explained the importance of not rolling down my windows and that it would be normal to see some temporary moisture bumps (which never occured). Overall, I'm very satisfied and considering a return to have a UV blocker installed on my windshield. I read one comment about them not being professional or quick - I'm thinking that was a one off. I recently bought a Tesla Model 3 and carefully considered several local places for tint. I decided to go to Frisco Tint, and I'm so glad I did. Mike explained all of the available options and spent extra time answering my questions. Given how new the Model 3 is on the market, not a lot of shops have had the chance to work on it yet. So, I was surprised to find out Frisco Tint has already tinted at least several dozen or more. They're confident in their work and it shows. I was happy with the quick service and the actual tint job HOWEVER please keep mind the TX State law requires a sticker placed underneath the tint verifying its legal...Fine. But why did the sticker have to be Silver mettalic that shimmers from the outside...the sticker should have been Black. I will be taking my car somewhere else to get it re tinted. The silver font on the sticker looks tacky as you can see in the photo it appears white...the GM window info is Black and can only be seen because of the flash...if legal I'd advise them to affix Black labels on their tint jobs. Super slow service- I called and requested a quote on a Friday morning and was told they would come on Monday the following week because they are so busy on the weekend. As Monday approached and I was told they would be there at 12 noon, I get a call at 11:56am saying that they are running behind and won't be able to come until the next day. I was unhappy because I had waited all weekend and that morning and now I had to wait another day. They compromised and asked if they could come later in the afternoon that day at 3pm. The guy shows up after 3pm and takes measurements of my windows and takes my email and says I will get a quote in 30 minutes emailed to me. After waiting 3 days and checking my spam email to be sure, I never received a quote. I call back and the guy who answers the call doesn't seem to have my information at all and asks to email me again shortly. I finally got my quote later that day and surprise, it's an outrageous amount. There seems to be a major disconnect in the communication with the employees. After wasting my entire week I got another quote from another company on the same day with outstanding quality and service and went with them instead. I originally wrote this review and they didn't like the feedback so they reported it and I rewrote it here with more detail. First time getting my windows tinted. It was actually very smooth, the lady at the front was very nice and (I felt silly) was very reassuring on what the tint would be similar too. I was able to get in the very next day, right away, and was given a two hour window in which it was completed in less than an hour! Mike did a great job answering all my questions about the different tints they offer. I was interested in the metallic tint film for the extra heat reduction benefits but was also concerned about possible signal interference (such as GPS, smart phone reception, etc.) that I had read about on various forums.
