We discussed a very large front yard undertaking with him. We wanted a "low grass" front yard concept and I explained to him some general flowers and plants I wanted involved. He put an outdoor landscaping "floor plan" together if you will. We talked things through and after some slight adjustments, we moved forward! He was great to organize and plan with. The issue is the timing of all of the plants and when they would be arriving due to the "zone" we are in. On the day of the project he and his team member arrived bright and early, discussed the plan and drawing once again to make sure we were all on the same page and got to work. Ben handled much of the getting rid of the grass and having level and even dirt. We had him bury a pipe regarding our excess water pump so that it was clean and underground and to the sidewalk. Then all of the plants were put into place and everything was covered with mulch. We even had him take out some large bushes that were in the back yard as part of the project while he was here. He was great to work with, had awesome follow up and always explained why something was happening. In his profession there obviously are some weather dependencies, so he was always good about keeping us informed if something had to slightly shift in the schedule.

We thought about trying to do it ourselves with a blower but so glad we had them come out because we had a birds nest in our vent for a long time - huge fire hazard. Thank goodness we had a smart dryer that stopped working because of the clog. It would've been super cool if they were able to put on a cover/cage so the birds didn't come back again because we don't have a ladder that's tall enough. Obviously outside of their scope but might be something to consider for an extra price.

Jonathan gave us great service at a good price. He explained what he did (for some 2nd floor vents…read morehe went in through the basement), got the air ducts good and clean, showed me all the junk that he cleaned out (lots of mouse poop, yuck). The only deduction was because although he was fairly clean, there was some mouse poop left in the basement where he did the cleaning, and in the furnace, which was not fun cleaning out. Still, for the price, I was happy to clean up a little. After he came to do the cleaning, our furnace started leaking. We thought maybe it was related to the cleaning, called him and asked him to check it out. He came the next day, was very gracious about it, opened up the furnace, and determined the A coil was leaking through the drain pan, not because the condensation tube was blocked by something knocked loose by the cleaning. He called his friend right there on the spot to see if he could come replace our drain pan or the A coil. Haven't heard from the friend yet, but Jonathan went above and beyond without charging us for what was essentially a service diagnostic.
