Came here looking for a hamburger and salads. Ended up ordering the loaded cheese, fries, fish, and chips, and cheeseburger. The loaded french fries came with a semi sweet barbecue sauce and some ladle cheese and the fries were not up to French standards. they did have plenty of green onions and chopped bacon on them. The fish and chips or mediocre. The batter was more like breadcrumbs than a traditional fish and chips batter. The batter was very crunchy but not a lot of seasoning. The cheeseburger while satisfactory was not nearly as tasty as a five guys burger. It was definitely better than McDonald's or Burger King but not up to the top burgers. The prices are fair and the service was fairly prompt. It is a sports bar and is probably packed on certain days so beware. read more

Came here for happy hour and was pleased with my experience! There was free WiFi, good drinks & even got the nachos check in offer. The happy hour specials were awesome. Cocktails were only 3 euro, beers were 5, very cheap but delicious drinks! They also had a lot of their own beers, which was really cool too! They definitely didn't skimp on the alcohol in their cocktails, love that! The service was great, the waiter we had was very friendly and easy to talk to. We rode the metro over to try out this place in the Marais district. Very close to the metro and exactly what we were looking for. We ordered the crispy chicken burger and fries. I am a bit of a "bun snob," but these buns for amazing, And the barbecue sauce wishes to write a note of tang and sweetness. We would highly recommend it. If you're an American tourist visiting Paris for a short period, there is no reason I can think of for coming here unless you are on a life mission to compare all the microbrews of the world or perhaps write a travel guide on European bbq. After two visits I've begun to really like this place: Chill vibe Attentive and friendly staff who all speak English (even though I try to stick to French!) Great beer selection Full bar Pretty sweet food menu Good music playing During my first visit, I had the smokey beef tacos. They were great. Two toasted flour tortillas with melted cheese, their homemade house version of coleslaw, smokey shredded beef and some type of smokey mayo drizzle. This comes with your choice of 2 sides. I had the house coleslaw which weren't very special and the okra beignet which was delightful. The tacos could have been spicier but that is just me. I'll ask for more jalapenos next time. I washed everything down with the Parislytic beer (5.2%) which I really liked. 15.50 for the tacos and 5 for the beer. Win! For my second visit, I tried the pork ribs. These are my favorite. Extremely juicy and meaty ribs and charred on the outside with a pretty amazing bbq sauce. I've only had better ribs in the US. This time I had the Thawak (IPA 5.2%) and it was pretty good. I finished with the peanut butter brittle and chocolate for dessert which was something you'd expect at TGIFridays. Our brains--which barely comprehend French--were fried from a weekend-long wedding full of people who only spoke French. This place was just what we needed to recover from that. The service was friendly and very geared toward English speakers--although we still attempted to speak French, our waiter was more than happy to switch to English with us. The place had a laid-back casual vibe. The beers and food were decent--not exactly American, but a French interpretation of American. We had fried chicken and a burger with BBQ. Both were large portions. The beers were the only thing approaching microbrew that we had while in France, so that was a nice treat, too. Overall, this place was great. The staff was wonderful and fully accommodating to Americans. The burger was juicy and delicious. The ginger infused beer was refreshing and delightful. The chicken wings though, avoid. They use whole large chicken wings (so 8 wings is too much for even 2 people) and they put so much breading on it, it's hard to eat. Not exaggerating, there was a 1/4 thick breaking on top of the wing. Biting into it, you pull away all bread and don't get any chicken. It certainly is a good spot to grab a bite on the run or if you need a snack! read more

I came here for a Yelp Elite event ages and ages ago and for some reason, though I've been to the Frog and Rosbif numerous times, I've never made it back to this huge place over by Bastille. My friends and I used to come to frog since it was solely at Trocadéro. At the beginning everything was amazing and the size of the sandwiches were quietly fair. Becoming a bit famous, sandwiches became smaller. (Bad) We also had the right to choose the side dishes we want (fries, coleslaw, sweet potatoes, Texas toast... ext), they changed to be limited to 2 sides out of 3 (fries, coleslaw and sweet potatoes) (worse) And today they told us that they limited even more to be fries and coleslaw - or sweet potatoes, more expensive, and coleslaw (worst).. we are really disappointed and it will be our last time in there after years of considering it our favorite burger. read more

Honestly, there isn't much to say about this place. It's a chain. It has one comfy chair that you can sometimes sit in when no one else is in the place. They have a decent happy hour (5€ pints). There are nachos and cheese sticks. But really, if you are visiting the city and want to go out, please don't go here. Find somewhere real to go. They get 4 stars cuz in here on a Saturday night and its 1030 and the dj is playing chillin' beats with some sweet mixing; the craft french beer is surprisingly good; the ambiance and atmosphere is casual and hip (thus making it a shade of hipster?!?); but (THE CATCH) its pricey, at least for a canadian. 7 euro for a pint?! Thats 3rd degree larceny. You should never pay more than 7 canadian dollars for a pint- if you do it better blow your mind. This place is just like home, basically. It's a touristy place that caters to American tourists, and I liked it on those terms. It's not going to change your life if you're a middle-class American, and this is certainly not the best place to sample traditional French fare. As an American that lives in London, this place was exactly what I needed after days of butchering the French language. Every staff member spoke english and even the menus were in English too. I had the Revolution Burger which was great but would have been better served rare...the bartender didn't ask but to be fair I didn't remember either. We also tried the beef tacos which were HUGE! and a pulled pork quesadilla. I drank the blond ale which pretty much tastes like Stella...maybe a tad bit lighter. Great looking place and remember from years ago their great ginger lime twist beer.... went in with my family to enjoy a simple Sunday lunch... ordered two kids menus and two bbd burger. What a disappointment! Kids fish and chips... fish was so small - one sad little piece of cod not bigger that a fish finger! As for the bbq burger... said on the menus steaks cooked well done... well... ours came raw on the inside. Told by the waiter they don't understand cause they cook the burgers in a machine with timer?! Went back to the kitchen, plates changed and one of two yet again raw inside. Told the waiter, who offered to change a third time.... but the whole table had finished.... gave up by then... A comment on the fries, said fresh on menu... tasted very much cooked from frozen to me... One waiter or manager maybe offered one coffee to make up for the mess.... which i declined because he could have offered two and also because I don't drink coffee.... No effort on the check either! Price wise... in my opinion - overpriced. Most restaurants are align but it doesn't mean that it is worth it... 15€ for a burger, a small side of frozen tasting fries and a micro side of Coll slaw... come on now! From the minute I walked in I was welcomed by the lovely staff!! Im on holiday from nyc and it's not that I don't love the french food. I was just really craving a real deal american burger!! Went here to watch the France-Belgium soccer game. They were kind enough to look up which channel it was on and put it on for us. I ordered the fried chicken and it was delicious! Bbq'd first then fried. The portions are pretty huge. You could share. We got the badaboom beer and it was very refreshing and light, perfect for a hot day. We also got the free nacho Yelp offer. The beer jug is massive! I would definitely recommend this place for those looking for good American style bbq in Paris or a more familiar restaurant to those in Canada/US.
