Such a great place. It looks very iffy from the outside, but don't let that fool you. The food is reasonably priced, served steaming hot, and the service is fast and friendly. We brought all four grandkids with us and everyone enjoyed it--from the half-price wings to the non-soggy stacked Reuben. Every dish was delish! Happy Hour includes $5.25 house wines and $3 beer. It's a dive bar and I love dive bars! I love the food and I the people and the atmosphere.... But not coming back here. I came for poker night and no one would let me sit at their tables. The organizer told me you have to show up 1/2 before the 730 start time to play... which is not stated on the website and is not anything I've ever heard of before. I've been playing poker for decades at dive bars and have never had an issue at joining a no money poker nights at a dive bar. Even in Vegas you just find an empty seat and sit down and wait to dealt in to the next hand. This place did not make me feel welcome. I was the only Black person in the place and the only one left out of playing poker. A guy came in two seconds after me and asked the same question about finding a seat to play, and he was able to sit down immediately. read more

I came with a group of friends for the Opinionary Trivia night! I had never done this style of trivia before. It was interesting, but not as fun as standard trivia. We got 3rd place though!! I ordered Garlic Parmesan wings and a side of kettle chips. I wasn't impressed with either. I wish I would have ordered fries because those were delish! I ended up stealing quite a few fries from my husband! Haha. The kettle chips were boring and tasted like normal potato chips. The wings had barely any sauce on them and the sauce wasn't that great anyway! I tried to order a drink several times, but it seemed like they were out of everything that I wanted! We came here for one of the trivia nights with some friends. It was opinionary trivia, so it was different than what we're used to. Still fun, but I would choose traditional trivia over it. BUT I believe they have traditional trivia on Monday nights, so maybe we'll try that next! The place was very busy and it seemed like they were a little short staffed. I could tell our server was overwhelmed but she was very sweet and made sure we had everything we needed/asked for. This was actually our second time here and my husband and I liked the burgers so much the first time, we got them again! They were delicious per usual! The fries are amazing as well! I got a glass of wine, which was kind of meh (probably yellowtail or barefoot). The menu only lists "Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Grigio", etc. instead of actual brands, so I figured i would be getting myself a cheaper glass from the beginning so I can't really complain. This place is just the worst and you would not guess that with what you see online. I know it is loud from the sports atmosphere by nature, but it is too small for all of that. They need to reduce some TVs and really look at how they have the place organized. I know it is noisy, but having a waitress sit down at your table is offensive. It is not the friendly thing it tries to be for all people and most people just put up with it. The food was almost mediocre, but on a scale of 1-10, I would give it a 4. We had a good time at this local bar. It was 80s night and the staff was really responsive. My husband ordered the club sandwich and loved it. My friend ordered potato skins which were good just missing scallions. I had nachos which were tasty but too soupy. I wish it was almost a dip with chips because the chips were so soggy within 5 minutes that I had to ask for fresh chips. That's why I'm giving 3 stars instead of 4. Lemoncello martinis were so good! We tried Froggy and Jeffro's last night for the first time and we enjoyed it. It was a welcome break from chain restaurants. A true neighborhood place that we are so sorely lacking. The burgers were big and tasty. The service was friendly and for my taste the right amount of interaction. Our server was there and available when we needed her. I like that the menu is limited in that they can do what they do well as we were a party of four all getting something different and everyone enjoyed their meal. When we walked in, there were only 3 people at the bar and the bartender. Expecting bar & grill, we were a bit taken aback by the fact it is more on the bar side, but I already purchased the 4 meal Groupon (3 adults and lunch for the next day for me - none of my four girls would order a sandwich - I still got the extra adult beverage as my wife likes to drive). The place it decked out "dive bar". Not in the smells like a urinal used as an ashtray kind of dive bar, as the place is clean, but the type that could easily be a dive bar. Pool tables, dimly lit, few low tables (food type) and lots of high tops (tables, not converse). Jukebox on the wall. Call it modern hipster chic dive bar? When we walked in, we justified having a cook on staff, as everyone else was drinking kind of bar. Looks like they have pub trivia nights, so it could be my type of bar. ;-) Back to Krista. At one point in time, I mentioned "you must really like people". She asked what I meant and I explained her "do more than is required" type of attitude. With such bad service in most restaurants, this is refreshing. Seeing other reviews, I am not the only one who feels this way. The food is pretty standard food. The unusual bit is hand tossed pizza in a type of establishment that would usually have frozen pizza. I tasted a bit of my daughters and it had a decent crust, fairly average sauce and decent cheese. I am not a big salt person, so the cheese is a bit salty for my tastes, but I could see myself grabbing a pizza at a trivia night. I tried the Greg's Phat Philly (not named after me) and I liked the sandwich. I upgraded from fries to onion rings and the rings were good. I did steal a fry from another daughter (I have 4). The burgers are good. The Cuban sandwich tastes authentic (despite some non-authentic ingredients from a purist standpoint). And, the prices are very good compared to may places. Wife tried the southwest, which has sour cream and salsa on the side (and she put both on the burger, something she would have never done when we first met - have I finally rubbed off on her?). Krista recommended either the breakfast burger or the Cuban. I got to taste the Cuban and I was impressed. But, if I get back down to Spring Hill again, and pop in, it is the breakfast burger next time.
