We've been to Birdsong Social multiple times because the food is just that good! Honestly, we've tried several dishes and haven't been disappointed yet. The fish and chips are excellent, the fried Brussels sprouts are a must-order, and I highly recommend the braised pork belly. It's absolutely delicious. My husband is obsessed with the elk burger and orders it every single time we visit. The only downside is the service can be very inconsistent. We've had visits with amazing servers who were attentive and provided excellent customer service. Other times, we've felt completely forgotten, no water refills, no check-ins, and long waits for basic things. If Birdsong Social could provide more consistent service, it would easily be one of our favorite restaurants. The food keeps us coming back, but your dining experience may depend on who is serving you that day. Love the ambiance, have enough space in between tables. read more

Absolutely Outstanding Experience at Birdsong Social! I had the pleasure of visiting Birdsong Social on a beautiful spring afternoon, and it was perfect from start to finish, as always. The Steakhouse Burger is hands-down one of the best I've had -- juicy, flavorful, and cooked exactly right. The fries were cooked to perfection: crispy on the outside, fluffy inside, and absolutely addictive when dipped in their house ranch. That ranch is next-level -- tantalizingly delicious and packed with flavor! I also loved having the seasonal Mango Cart beer on tap. It was refreshing, crisp, and the perfect complement to the meal. What really made the visit special was the outstanding service. All of the staff were excellent, but Summer D and Abby went above and beyond, making me feel genuinely welcomed and taken care of while I relaxed out on the patio. Sitting outside on a perfect spring day, enjoying my meal with my favorite country music playing softly in the background... it doesn't get much better than that. Great happy hour - half price apps. ANY app on the menu. We chose the cowboy nachos. The best way to describe them...husband asks: "how is your wine?" My answer: "better than the nachos." Then I ask him: "how are the nachos ?" His reply: "not as good as my water". We then split a steakhouse burger. It was good - extremely messy, even if we hadn't split. The problems began around midnight - the fried onions almost killed us - my poor husband was still suffering the next day. We eat fried onions all of the time. No idea what made these guys so potent. The Pinot noir that I chose really was good. Service was ok - a lot of servers standing around talking to each other and to patrons sitting at the bar. The wait for our food was reasonable. If you are driving north on I-65, double check what exit you are going to get off - we followed Waze which took us off one exit too early. If it weren't so far out of our way, would we come back? Update: after 3 years, we have been 5+ times. It's always a fun spot to bring friends or family, obviously a beautiful setting. The menu, from brunch to dinner, offers a great variety and portion sizes are great. I've always loved the fried Brussels sprouts/Caesar salad, and their new Caesar wrap is a solid 8/10 as well. My only real complaint is that service is hit or miss. Last night (a Friday) we were not greeted by the servers at the stand, and it wasn't that busy. Our server would disappear for 20+ minutes at a time, and my husband went to the bar to get a soda refill. It just felt odd given the fact that the dining room was less than half full. We are Birdsong fans and will be back, but the customer service could be taken up a notch, especially for a nice meal. read more

A year ago, the food here used to be so good. I mean, the best in Spring Hill. It's gone down hill to this evening having one of the worst dining experiences I've had in a while. We got there at 6:05. Got our food at 7:10. All the burgers were overcooked to oblivion. Service took forever (in her defense it looked like she was seated more tables than she could handle). When I mentioned we'd been waiting for our food for an hour our server responded "actually it's been 30 minutes, baby, we have a timer". I tipped 0 because we were so disappointed with everything. She found me on Facebook after we left and sent me a message... WOW. read more

This place has a casual vibe and is open to the public despite being part of a golf course. The servers were really in to golf and tried to convince us to come play sometime. I'm the worst golfer in existence though, so that won't be happening! We both had the salad with goat cheese. I added grilled chicken to mine. I would give it an 8/10. Fresh salad, the chicken wasn't too try, and of course the goat cheese was delicious. It was missing something though. Maybe some fruit would have finished it off nicely. My only real complaint is the faucets in the bathroom were so fancy they had instructions on the wall about how to use them, and they were a topic of discussion with multiple customers. read more

Pros: good location and off the beaten path. High ceilings, great lighting and views of the golf course and putting green. Cons: with the high ceilings, the restaurant is very loud. We sat next to a window at a 2-top and I could not even hear the person in front of me. Good luck finding a parking spot. Golfers share the lot and you may be parking on grass to get in. We presume our waitress was new. We asked for the dressing for our salad on the side and we were charged for it. We were still eating and the waitress came over and asked us if we wanted to go boxes and then asked us who gets the check. For something we had to make a reservation for a week in advance, I felt like the experience was rushed. It was a Mother's Day lunch and we didn't even get an option to look at the dessert menu or have coffee after. It wasn't even a busy time of day, so I'm unsure why we were pushed out. read more

Overall Birdsong was a good spot to grab dinner with friends or if you wanted to try something different on a date night. Food was good.. I'd definitely try the steak tips with the baked potato.. chicken finger plate was also delicious. Atmosphere is as also bright and inviting with tvs in the right spots if you want to catch a game. Service was spotty.. started off slow and then when our server switched during the shift things started coming out quickly. The other issue was the flies.. the flies were a problem until the waitress brought out some little fans to keep them away from the food. read more

Understandably we visited during the off season, so our expectations were lower. However, when we arrived, one of the staff members had her child in a stroller at the bar with her husband there having drinks and dinner. It felt awkward and unprofessional. My husband and I chose to stop in for a late lunch/early dinner and I was a little disappointed by our experience. My husband ordered a tea, while I ordered water. When the waitress came with our drinks, she put the tea in front of me instead of my husband (no big deal) and there was a dead fly in the tea. It wasn't just floating on top, it was IN the tea, below the ice. I immediately noticed it and told the waitress. She apologized and brought a new glass of tea and reassured us she disposed of all tea in the container it came from. While I understand it isn't totally unexpected, it set the tone for my meal and just made me question the rest of our food that came to the table. The breadsticks with queso were great. My husband really enjoyed his French dip and the fries. They also had great ranch. The avocado bowl was subpar. The romaine chunks were so large I had to cut them in order to eat it. Given the flu in the tea, it made me question how well they cleaned their lettuce prior to serving. The service was great, everyone was very sweet. The dining room and bathrooms were very clean and the dining chairs were by far some of the most comfortable I've sat on. My only complaint with the dining room were the excessive flies that were around our table. read more

It is a loud environment but we were looking to eavesdrop and people watch so it was perfect haha It was a nice evening and the doors were open with a great view of the course. Food was good, typical club house food. No complaints. All the FOH staff were hustling around! Never saw a single person not actively working or quickly moving from place to place which makes what I'm about to say confusing... the service was quite slow. For the amount of effort everyone was putting in, we couldn't figure out why sandwiches took so long. The waitress was very attentive and apologized for the wait times, so we will be back and we were ok hanging out, just something to note. read more

First Impressions are important. Attractive exterior and a large accommodating parking lot. Great atmosphere and excellent service even though I was only 'snacking'. Great scenic views of the well groomed golf course -- no matter where you are seated. Outdoor patio seating is an option. Modern architecture and design for this one year old club house and restaurant. Very open, light and airy. Thursday night was/is live acoustic entertainment which was nice. The menu is actually pretty robust for a small club with fun hip entrees at reasonable prices. A full bar that serves up way more than cold beer is centrally located -- no dark corners here in this bright open space. I tried the Fish and Chips and enjoyed the flavor. My bride had one of the signature Flatbreads. Our server was pleasant, happy, knowledgeable and attentive. Parking for this newer one year old structure is shared with the golf course just off Kedron Road. We are looking forward to returning here multiple times to try out some of the other tasty sounding entrees -- including Brunch on Sundays! read more

I had an excellent, perfectly cooked Burger and hot fresh French Fries. The menu had a lot of options for lunch. The service was terrific! My only complaint was that there were A LOT of Flies. I really dislike swatting at flies while eating. I'll definitely try it again and hope that situation improves. read more

My wife and I came out again to one of our favorite spots, for an afternoon brunch. Our server took great care of us. She was really kind and paid attention to the little things. There was good music playing, and the place filled up quick. The food was great. We got a burger, some loaded fries, and a caesar salad. I called to place a pick-up order and was told they couldn't take phone orders. I'd have to order online. When I did order online, a Birdsing Chopped Salad ($13) + Grilled Chicken ($5), I got home and found they hadn't added the chicken. Disappointed they wouldn't take a phone order, even more disappointed they took the $5 add-on for the chicken and didn't even add it to the meal. read more

I had a last minute reservation for 25 due to Hurricane Helene cancelling our outdoor celebration. Stephanie was so accommodating and amazing to work with! We had a great time celebrating at Towhee. The service was great, the food was great, and we are so happy we were still able to gather together! We regularly eat there during the week and it is always good. The grilled chicken caesar wrap is my go to. The beer cheese pretzel bites are amazing. It is family friendly, but also a good place to sit at the bar on date night, and a nice way to end a day of golf. Always a fun time! read more

This new restaurant recently opened up in my area, so I decided to check it out! Upon entering Birdsong, I noticed it had a great outdoor space with lots of potential. This restaurant is part of a golf club that is open to the public. They have a bocce ball court outside! We had a short wait to be seated, but was lacking in seating in the waiting area. Overall, the meal was solid and staff were friendly and welcoming. The artichoke & spinach dip w/goat cheese was delicious. I went with a prime rib, which was the special of the night. As a craft beer fan, I wouldn't consider Sam Adams to be a Premium Beer, but they apparently do. read more

This was a very cute place to go and checkout. Restaurant is on the golf course and has a nice ambiance. Pricing was on the higher side and food didn't have the most flavor. Service was average, many of them were talking to regulars or each other and so it took a while to get drinks and food. There is a small area outside to hang out at. Overall it's alright but will probably leave this place to the regulars and the golfers in the area. read more

My sisters and I just hosted our dad's 80th surprise birthday party here. It was everything we had hoped for my dad and the other 54 guests. Kaity is a fantastic events coordinator, and she has a great team. From the beginning the communication was professional, timely, clear, and encouraging. The food was delicious, beautiful, and cooked perfectly. We chose two appetizers and gave our guests the choice between two entrees. In addition to the entree, the plate came with two vegetables, bread, and a salad. The quantity was impressive too. The space is lovely and lit with natural light from the many windows which overlook the golf course. Our 55 guests fit nicely in the main room. The servers were competent, quick, available, yet unobtrusive. From the initial visit to the exiting of the restaurant after the event, our experience was AMAZING!
