We were in town visiting and the Huskers were playing. We found this Husker bar to enjoy the game. Everyone was so welcoming, food was good bar food (able to accommodate food allergies), excellent wait staff and a fabulous sports bar atmosphere. We met mostly locals who gave us so many tips/ideas on hiking, what to see in the area and where to eat. There are also games such as Jenga, Bags, ping pong and more. It is a great place for locals and visitors alike. We truly had a great time!

Best bartender and GM! Making great drinks!

My favorite place to ever go to. Best food, best service, best atmosphere!! I have been coming here for years and I would highly recommend!

Big TinRoof2 guy. Ive been here quite a bit and so far all of their food we've tried has been delicious. The absolute best quesadillas south of the Mason-Dixon.

Service was slow, not sure if they were understaffed or not. Food ok. Basically bar food.

Awful quality food. So many better options in the area for burgers and bar food. Don't waste your time with this place.

The waitress did not write my order down. She kept it in her head, I guess. My burger came with mayo which overwhelmed the burger. All seating is high top tables. Literally, just a sports bar with the attraction of young waitresses showing their midriff. The other thing I noticed is several of the waitresses sat down at a couple of tables with friends eating there. There were definitely two tables that seemed to know all the waitresses, and those on duty waitresses constantly visited with their friends all through our dinner. Find a better burger place. It's behind Mellow Mushroom. You go down a hall and when it ends, pizza place to right and there is a door to the left. Look back in hallway and there is an electrical box. Open that and flip the switch for the green light to come on. The door opens and a very welcoming hostess lets you in. It's not a huge place but plenty of room to sit or stand and hang out with friends. We got there a little early so we grabbed 2 seats at the bar. This is where the magic happens. The bartenders there are talented mixologists. Dave was so nice and helpful. He taught me a Pina Colada is supposed to be on the rocks. It was fabulous! I also had 2 of the holiday drinks that were delicious. By far the best place to go for great cocktails. They also have a small and reasonably priced snack/bar food menu. Just an experience. The only thing negative is that I did see the bartender use sparkling water to top off several of our drinks which did dilute them slightly. The food was odd...I was expecting a traditional buffalo chicken dip but instead it was cold. It's a fun time and something unique to do if in Franklin, TN.

The Pond is a self described dive bar located in a strip mall area in Franklin Tennessee…read more I like to patronize places that aren't chains and aren't super popular spots when I travel, as I enjoy being around common folks in areas that I go to. The Pond doesn't disappoint. It is exactly what one would expect when seeking a dive bar atmosphere. A little ratty, a little rowdy and a whole lot of fun. The coup de grace was they had Guinness on tap, which was completely unexpected. We traveled to Franklin looking for an alternative to Broadway in Nashville on our first night in town. It is worth the trip. Franklin is a very old town with great old architecture and buildings over 200 years old that still look stunning. The Pond was the real reason for my drive down although it was our last stop on our tour of Franklin. The staff was friendly, the Hamburger and fries was delicious, and the beer was cold. They have many options to choose from on tap. They have Darts inside and a couch you'd find down in your friends basement that he found on a tree bank trash day, but that simply adds to the dive bar charm. We stayed for one drink and the burger as we were exhausted from a red eye flight the night before. If you're looking for a dive bar that stays open late and apparently gets packed as the night goes on, this is the spot for you. Most places close early in Franklin, so this is apparently the after hours spot that everyone ends up going to when all other options are closed. The Pond reminded me of a few dive bar spots in Vegas, and I have to recommend you pay them a visit, if for no other reason, just to say you've been there.

After reading other reviews and based on my own experience, I've seriously considered whether this…read moreis a place worth returning to. Between pricing, service concerns, and overall experience, I didn't see enough consistency to justify frequent visits. Twin Peaks is disappointing overall and not somewhere I would recommend for lunch, celebrations, or anyone expecting consistent, professional service. Exterior & First Impression Most locations I've seen have decent curb appeal, but this visit didn't fully meet that expectation. The surrounding area felt somewhat neglected, and the parking lot didn't leave a strong first impression. Atmosphere Inside, the restaurant smelled strongly of stale beer and smoke and was extremely loud, with no real effort to manage volume, making conversation difficult. The overall atmosphere felt geared toward a very specific crowd and came across as dated rather than broadly welcoming. Food Food was average. Some items were fine, but overall the menu leans heavy, fried, and doesn't feel aligned with the price point or the wait times. Nutritionally, there are limited lighter options, which makes it less appealing for repeat visits. Service Service was the biggest issue. It was slow, disorganized, and poorly communicated. Even when it didn't appear busy, we waited a long time with little to no updates and had to follow up multiple times just to get basic information. Orders can take a long time, so if your are on lunch and in a hurry- go elsewhere. Some staff were polite, but the experience felt inconsistent and transactional, with noticeable differences in attentiveness throughout the restaurant. Management When concerns were raised, management felt dismissive and unresponsive, with little effort to resolve issues in the moment. Stronger focus on communication, empathy, and service recovery would significantly improve the experience. Overall, the experience felt inconsistent and not well managed. Between long waits, a loud environment, pricing concerns, and lack of responsiveness, it doesn't feel like a place I would choose to return to regularly. We left frustrated and wouldn't come back. Bottom Line The only positives were comfortable seating and a few decent menu items, but it didn't come close to outweighing the negatives. If you're comfortable with the concept and just want a place to watch sports, it may work. However, for consistent service, fair value, and a more balanced dining experience, there are better options.
