    Chicken wings

Such a great place. It looks very iffy from the outside, but don't let that fool you. The food is reasonably priced, served steaming hot, and the service is fast and friendly. We brought all four grandkids with us and everyone enjoyed it--from the half-price wings to the non-soggy stacked Reuben. Every dish was delish! Happy Hour includes $5.25 house wines and $3 beer. Each day a different special too. We happened on half-priced wing night where a dozen meaty wings were only $8. It's everything you expect a neighborhood sports bar to be.

I came with a group of friends for the Opinionary Trivia night! I had never done this style of trivia before. It was interesting, but not as fun as standard trivia. We got 3rd place though!! I ordered Garlic Parmesan wings and a side of kettle chips. I wasn't impressed with either. I wish I would have ordered fries because those were delish! I ended up stealing quite a few fries from my husband! Haha. The kettle chips were boring and tasted like normal potato chips. The wings had barely any sauce on them and the sauce wasn't that great anyway! I tried to order a drink several times, but it seemed like they were out of everything that I wanted! I settled in a Moscow Mule and it was good, but nothing special! I think I'll give this place another try because I hear the burgers are great!

Justin is an awesome bartender! Makes the best drinks with excellent service. My brother and I love coming here to play darts and the occasional game of pool. My favorite place for karaoke as well ! Such a great variety of people to meet and a fun time all around! The food is tasty and they have the best loaded cheese fries.

Nothing to get excited about, but good enough for a cold beer and a bite.

We've been to Birdsong Social multiple times because the food is just that good! Honestly, we've…read moretried several dishes and haven't been disappointed yet. The fish and chips are excellent, the fried Brussels sprouts are a must-order, and I highly recommend the braised pork belly. It's absolutely delicious. My husband is obsessed with the elk burger and orders it every single time we visit. The only downside is the service can be very inconsistent. We've had visits with amazing servers who were attentive and provided excellent customer service. Other times, we've felt completely forgotten, no water refills, no check-ins, and long waits for basic things. If Birdsong Social could provide more consistent service, it would easily be one of our favorite restaurants. The food keeps us coming back, but your dining experience may depend on who is serving you that day. Love the ambiance, have enough space in between tables.

Absolutely Outstanding Experience at Birdsong Social!…read more I had the pleasure of visiting Birdsong Social on a beautiful spring afternoon, and it was perfect from start to finish, as always. The Steakhouse Burger is hands-down one of the best I've had -- juicy, flavorful, and cooked exactly right. The fries were cooked to perfection: crispy on the outside, fluffy inside, and absolutely addictive when dipped in their house ranch. That ranch is next-level -- tantalizingly delicious and packed with flavor! I also loved having the seasonal Mango Cart beer on tap. It was refreshing, crisp, and the perfect complement to the meal. What really made the visit special was the outstanding service. All of the staff were excellent, but Summer D and Abby went above and beyond, making me feel genuinely welcomed and taken care of while I relaxed out on the patio. Sitting outside on a perfect spring day, enjoying my meal with my favorite country music playing softly in the background... it doesn't get much better than that. Birdsong Social has it all -- great food, fantastic drinks, a wonderful atmosphere, and a team that truly cares. I'll definitely be back soon and often. Highly recommend!

Just two of them on this visit. Secondly, unless you come here on a weekly basis, you won't get a hint of attention. Other reviews mention the same horrible service to anyone who doesn't visit this place regularly. You will be completely ignored. This evening the dining area was nearly empty yet we sat for 15 minutes before our drink order was taken. The mixed drinks are good, fear not. Then we sat for 35 minutes before we were able to attract the attention of a server, after several failed attempts. The board is good and hearty as is the spinach dip. The problem here lies in the subpar service, again and again and again. We really try to refrain from giving local establishments negative reviews, but the sheer lack of attention to anyone not hovering around the bar is ridiculous. At one point I walked to the bar to try to get the attention of our server and it still failed. They never checked on us. Never asked if we wanted a refill of water and didn't ask us if we wanted a second drink until we had to track down our bill. The final insult was the server asking my wife and I who were huddled up close on the same side of the table, if we wanted one check or two. Ugh.

They sanction the controlled chaos, and on top of that, they serve beer! Putting axes in the hands of beer guzzling lumberjack wannabes sounds like a recipe for disaster. But to their credit, Faxons keep a close eye on their patrons. They'll even help with your technique. That's throwing technique. You're on your own with how you tip your glasses. You'll have your choice on who or what to chop up. You can toss a blade into the skull of a zombie or something more woodsy like a duck. You won't even need a hunting license. Just have your significant other fill out the permission slip (aka the waiver) so that you can participate in the carnage. If an axe is a little too extreme, you can try your hand at tossing a different dangerous projectile. They have a couple of dart boards just waiting for you to pierce their numbers. They come complete with chalkboard so that you can keep tally of how many holes you make. I'm guessing they'd prefer the holes in the boards rather than the wall. It's a family-friendly place for all you 12 and olders. That is if your family doesn't lean pacifist. Quick Tip: I wouldn't recommend wearing open toed shoes. There's always the chance of the beer that's lubricating your inside, finding its way onto the axe handle and making it as loose as you. But as I mentioned earlier, Faxons keeps a close eye on the proceedings. You should be able to make your way out with all your appendages still intact. And maybe even a few extra if you're seeing double after swilling down a few.
