The quality is unparalleled, but hands down I fell in love with the Vixen shop because of their sweet, lovely shop manager, Lisa. She is so warm and welcoming - has gone above and beyond to help me find the right size and encourage me to try new styles. She is absolutely the sweetest. I'd say I'm going to miss her, BUT I heard they will be opening a new store for their sister brand, La Femme En Noir, that Lisa will also run. Let me just say: she BETTER! To me, she is as iconic to the brand as Micheline herself! These gorgeous clothes will surely be missed, but I'm truly hopeful that the closing of the Vixen brand, will be an expansion of LFEN. It has absolutely been a beautiful experience while it's lasted, and thanks to the incredible workmanship of the Vixen brand, I am confident I will continue to enjoy my amazing frocks for years and years to come. I happened to stumble across Glory when they first opened, and the owners are a very friendly and warm mom and daughter who have literally the best fashion taste. They have always have a discounted rack outside their store of styles that are 50%+ off. The quality is superb, the garments are mostly a cotton or cotton blend and just so comfortable with special details such as pleats and darts strategically placed to make the most flattering cuts. I really appreciate the ladies offering discounts here and there if you purchase multiple items and they always remember me, so I know they make their customers feel so special. The shopping experience really reminds me of shopping in Tokyo or Hong Kong (sadly I haven't traveled to Korea yet but would love to) and discovering new interesting items on every visit. A real gem is their pants collection. They have simply the most fantastic pieces and most of them have elastic waistbands so it can fit virtually all sizes! Although they sell both men's and women's clothes, it seemed as though the men's side had a greater selection, and my husband tried on a few pairs of pants and shirts and bought one of each. What made this transaction exceptional: the service. Durrell was welcoming and helpful, explaining the different styles and then leaving us alone to try stuff on. DUER backs their pants with a one-year guarantee, so if, for example, the gusset tears, they will fix it. I've never heard of a brand standing behind their clothing to this extent, and it's great to see a company so confident of their quality that they can offer this kind of guarantee.
