I got a harvest turkey cranberry sandwich, a falling leaves latte, and a honey lavender latte while I was there. The sandwich was very large and I had a hard time finishing it. The lattes were sweet and refreshing. The sandwich cost $15, and each of the lattes cost $5.50. They do have allergy information for the sandwiches, but not for the bakery items, which was unfortunate, since their raspberry donut cheesecake looked decadent. They are a cashless facility and do accept Apple Pay. They have a variety of indoor and outdoor seating.

No regrets. The iced coffee was great! I always forget about iced coffee when I'm at a coffee shop, because I just usually order a hot black coffee. I'm so stuck in my ways, sometimes! But iced coffee was a good choice in this situation, and it came with a little vanilla cream, which was unexpected but a nice indulgence. The Grind is located right across the street from West Virginia University. It was packed when I visited, and I imagine it is almost always packed, because of its location. But the people who work here are very efficient and friendly, and my iced coffee was ready lickety-split. I got my coffee to go, but there are some tables inside the coffee shop to sit and relax, if you wanted to. One of my favorite things about The Grind is that they have a confession box in the restroom. I left a little confession in the box, because it promised that the box was "a safe place to share what you can never tell a soul," and I felt that I could trust this random coffee shop in West Virginia with my whole heart.
