Esteban showed up the first time to give me the estimate and explained that "a team" would show up, take all the necessary safety precautions, remove it in ONE hour, grind the stump on site (they show up with big, new trucks), and clean up. Well, they did just that PLUS they trimmed other trees for an additional nominal fee, removed other debris I had at no additional fee, and did an amazing job with the cleanup! When I got home, they asked me for permission to clean up my backyard. I specifically told them there was a dog, showed them the front door, and asked them to knock on the door and wait for me. I emphasized that there was a dog and they shouldn't come in without letting me know. There is even a "Beware of the Dog" sign on the gate. They said they would do so in 5 minutes. A couple of minutes later I see someone in the backyard while the dog is running around. I shouted didn't I tell you to knock the front door first? The guy left. Since the dog didn't know what was happening, she got distracted and it took me some effort to bring her inside. I don't always come home at this time. Before littering someone's house, they need to check that they can clean up. The backyard was a complete mess. Had they left, it would have taken me some time to clean up. They dropped tree branches on my flowers, plants, and sprinklers. Anyone can cut trees without looking. If you are really professionals, you should be able to understand that you cannot just drop your trash wherever is more convenient for you.

They really listened to my request to cut the canopy back. The lead man cutting made the whole tree look symmetrical and more beautiful than it's ever looked in years. He was fast and efficient and climbed all through the tree and lowered limbs carefully by ropes. His cleanup crew picked up debris and everything was taken to the curbside to be shredded later.
