Chelsea is super communicative in-office, and Robin's expertise with plants is absolutely exceptional and something I really rely on when making decisions about my yard. The crews are always on point with their work--excellent climbers, precision cutters, and fantastic cleaners, especially given the mess that yard work produces. We have hired Robin's team several times in the past six years: to trim a massive Italian pine tree, a palm tree, and a mandarin tree at one home (during the appropriate season for each), and at a new home now, a much larger project that is being done in phases. We've just completed phase one, which included the removal of a huge Brazilian Pepper Tree, several Liquid Amber trees, a Camphor tree, the removal of shrubs/bushes, and some trimming of privacy trees. It unfortunately happened to be super hot during their last visit, and the crew somehow still didn't miss a beat! Our new neighbors praised the work of Robin's crew as well, which really says something. This company is my go-to for tree trimming, plant removal, and soon enough, new landscaping. I Called Robin Hilton, and two days later, my huge eucalyptus was removed from the edge of a steep canyon, hauled 30 steep steps by hand up to our house, and cut to 16 inch lengths per my request in less than a day. (We have an airtight fireplace insert in our home). The cost was very reasonable, and the workers were obviously experienced in this type of work, Cleanup was great. I'm 88 years young. We had massive tree trimming needs after buying our house that had not had its trees trimmed in years - 9 trees total (2 palms, 4 olives, a pepper tree, and a few very large elms). This is the best tree cutting company I've ever used for my decades old magnolia tree. They arrived on time, and started working at eight in the morning. They really listened to my request to cut the canopy back. The lead man cutting made the whole tree look symmetrical and more beautiful than it's ever looked in years. He was fast and efficient and climbed all through the tree and lowered limbs carefully by ropes. His cleanup crew picked up debris and everything was taken to the curbside to be shredded later. I had a really fantastic experience with this company! The huge hill in my backyard had a lot of brush -much more than I thought. I usually have my gardeners clear it but decided to get a more thorough job this time around. I am so glad that I did! Even though I had the full job done 3 years ago by my gardener, Robin said that there was several years of unraked debris under my trees so I think all this time I wasn't receiving the best work until now. They also discovered 2 massive rats nests among the brush which I paid more to have hauled away because they have to take great care in the disposal of that with the excrement....GROSS! I had additional areas worked on as well. The special thing about Robin is that she writes down and takes pictures of all the things you want done which results in a great job! The other good thing is the crew. I had like 12 men that worked so hard all day, and they were very very nice. Finally, I can't say enough about the cleanup. My almost-acre of land looked perfectly clean everywhere at the end. They raked and cleaned all the paths they took to drag out the debris, even in the grass. I am just happy I spent a little extra money to get the job done properly and I like that they were insured. read more

This is the second time we've used Robin Hilton. We really appreciate that they ask and then listen when we go over details. Their crews are efficient, fast and knowledgable. One of our concerns was blight transfer between trees. They handle this by throughly sterilizing their tools as the move from tree to tree. The clean up was literally perfect. They were able to restore the shape of our overgrown olive tree. They handled the Toyons perfectly, and worked around some rare and delicate plants under the trees with extra care. Great Service! Three guys showed up on time and efficiently trimmed 5 of my 20 foot tall palm trees. They were very friendly and polite.
