All prices are pretty average for a cafe. The other part of the first floor are savory snacks and soups, jerky, dips, pretzels, popcorn, crackers, jelly's, teas and such. You can try it all. Prices are about mediocre. Not cheap but not outrageous. Upstairs are all the cheeses, dressing, sausages, jarred condiments. Again you can get a taste of most anything. Cheeses are from all over the world and all types spicy, sharp, dill, bacon, champagne, almost anything you can think of. Prices are more expensive than Giant Eagle, Trader Joe's, Aldi's and most stores. But the combination of cheese flavors are pretty unique. Something you can't just get at those other stores. And think of it as a treat. You're not going to buy that cheese every week. So a treat is nice. Overall it is a fun experience for the whole family. We didn't go to the chocolate Sweeties side. But I am sure that is amazing too. You can eat at the cafe, buy some snacks, treats and cheese. It's fun and you don't do this every day. At least that's how I look at it. $50 dollars later. LOL! Anyways they do sell LOTS of cheese and chocolates, jellies meats, honey and other little items. They have an upstairs and downstairs of stuff, they have separate buildings you can go in.They have stuff for kids like an outdoor game area. They have samples throughout and you can ask if you want to try something. We did end up going back once we left Cleveland, but it was as crowded or even more when we came back. We were able to get some samples of cheeses and they gave us a card where we could order on the website. They have spreadable cheeses and meats. I would have liked to have spent more time there to see and taste but our time was limited. They have a little food restaurant but we did not go inside to try anything. I ended up purchasing some homemade fudge and it was delicious. The customers and the staff was nice as well and we were greeting as soon as we arrived. I think one of the employees was cooking some bacon, and who doesn't love bacon. I didn't get to try any because everyone was right there waiting for the bacon to be done so they could get their sample. I would like to find out what time during the day that they are not so busy so that I can really enjoy my time there. But it was the weekend so everyone and their mama's was there to visit. lol I will come again I think I may try to go during the week so that I am able to walk through and enjoy what this place has to offer.

We lived in Canton and moved near Mansfield. We drove back and forth on Route 30 and always stopped there. I live in Twinsburg now. The last 2 years I drove down at Christmas time and ordered gift baskets and other items. Spent $250 this year and about the same last year. I don't like the remodeled store. We were first greeted by a friendly girl that explained to us what Grandpas was all about. They have a restaurant, cheese shop, gift shop and across the way is a candy shop. So many cheeses to try!! We bought several cheeses that we were able to taste first. We are excited to take them home and enjoy them with family. We also got some pickles from their huge selection of pickles. It had a different texture and flavor than traditional fudge but was definitely worth trying. They also have traditional fudge on the other side of the store. There were workers behind the counter actively packing cheese and willing to answer any questions you might have. They are apparently now one of the largest manufacturers of swiss cheese in the US. When you enter, there is a shop which is a combination of gift shop, cheese accessories and grocery items. There is signage that shows off their awards, talks about some of their history and also takes about the difference between regular and baby swiss. The deli where you can get freshly sliced cheese is in the back. The clerks were extremely friendly answering questions and providing samples of anything you want to try. Much like the outside, the inside continues the swiss theme. The reason I gave it four instead of five stars is the space itself. It was really congested even though it wasn't really all that crowded. I can't imagine what it would be like on a busier day. J don't know what, if anything can be done about this that, but it definitely can be hard yo navigate if you have mobility issues or don't like crowds. Oh and the cheese hats are a fun nice touch.
