I would never recommend Integrity Fencing. Our experience was plagued by poor communication, subpar…read morecraftsmanship, and unprofessional conduct from management. From the start, the privacy fence was not built to the agreed-upon specifications. The HOA drawings which their salesman explicitly confirmed in writing (attached via email and said quoting exactly) called for horizontal beams to be mounted in-line. Instead, they face-nailed the beams, which altered the entire aesthetic and structural look of the fence. They claimed the HOA requires this which is not true. Additionally, the installation was plagued by issues: - Workmanship: The fence height was inconsistent, ranging from 71" to 79" on a promised 6' privacy build and 48" around on a promised 45" picket build. In several areas, there was a 3-4" gap between the bottom of the privacy fence and the ground. They faced the privacy pickets the wrong direction and blamed my wife for it. They mostly corrected the height after it was called out, but there are still gaps and inconsistencies. - Property Damage: Despite assurances that our landscaping would not be in the way, they broke our paver walkway and destroyed the edging between our garden and rock bed. We also found dried cement mix stuck/spilled across our landscape rocks. They mostly fixed this but it shouldn't have happened to begin with and the walkway is permanently damaged. - Gate & Staining: The metal gate installation was miscommunicated and poorly executed. The "custom" gate that we paid extra for is just an oddly angled gate that doesn't fit the opening or slope properly (and the previous standard gate was already mis-mounted). When they finally came to stain the fence, they did so just hours before a major rainstorm, despite the forecast, which was negligent. The most disappointing part was dealing with the VP of Operations, Jerry, and the owner, Shawn. After failing to deliver the product we contracted for, Jerry attempted to deflect blame onto my wife. When I pushed back on the invoice to address the fact that they had not corrected the beam alignment or secured an alternative HOA cap approval as discussed, management immediately resorted to threats of placing a lien on our home - all while holding our 50% deposit for staining work that hadn't even been performed yet. They over-promise, under-deliver, and resort to intimidation tactics rather than standing behind their work. Save yourself the headache and choose a contractor who actually values integrity.

Most railing companies said that they couldn't do it. MetalArc was one of the few willing to accept the challenge and the unknowns that came with it. They worked hard to understand my vision and priorities. I am very particular in what I want and don't want. They respected that and were not put off by it. They are very, very kind people. The project gave them challenges beyond their expectations, but they were patient and stuck with it each time. I am thrilled with the final result. On my end, there were a few challenges as well. I had to be extremely patient with the schedule. The project was bid at a flat rate, however, they increased it when they had a better understanding of the project. This was after I was already committed and had made a large deposit. I was frustrated by that because I thought the project was clear from the beginning since I had a picture of what I wanted to replicate. The payment installments were confusing and, as things took longer, they added new installments. I had to be firm that the final installment would be paid when the project was done. They had a few employees turnover which directly impacted my project. All but one did great work; but the one caused some major hiccups as did the transitions in general. We finished the project as a team. The results are beautiful. We are on good terms. We are planning to work together again, thankfully on a much more straightforward project!

However, the company she had used in the past wouldn't call me back. I found MetalArc using Google. And I'm beyond happy I did. First, their commitment to their craft is top notch. They will work diligently to get the project right. The level of refinement that we were looking for with these doors was not a hurdle they shied away from but rather they accepted the challenge and worked side by side with me to get it exactly right. The finished product is stunning, we couldn't be happier. Second, David's level of communication is a rarity. He is such a well spoken, clear and eloquent communicator. It is a lost art in today's day and age. I was impressed time and time again with his clarity and thoughtfulness in every conversation and email. This was truly a "project" that required communication and collaboration and he impressed me time and time again. Third, he is a good man whose primary goal was not only meeting but exceeding expectations. On top of being an expert in his craft, he has mastered being a good person. Denver Decks just completed the work on our new deck. From the very start to the finish the…read moreproject has been great. The new deck replaced an old wooden deck that had seen it's better days. The understructure of the old deck was beginning to fail and the understructure supports the roof that covers most of the deck. Before hiring Denver Decks to do the job we used AI to recommend good deck companies in the Denver area. We contacted four companies, three responded and Denver Decks was one of those three. Our deck is 17' x 20' and the estimates to do the job were similar. We were promptly contacted and set up a meeting with Paul Koehn from Denver Decks. We met with Paul and quickly realized that he was much more that just a salesman for the company. He had built many decks before moving into sales so his knowledge of what is needed for a new deck was extensive, readily available, and we actually enjoyed discussing our project with him. Paul also indicated that Denver Decks always complies with the codes and permit process that exists for such projects in Denver. One of the companies that we contacted said that they do not pull permits for work in Denver and if something goes wrong during the process it would be our fault! Paul had lots of photos of other projects that Denver Decks had completed. The photo collection was extensive, well organized, and included pictures of stairs, railings, deck surfaces and lights that have been used in other projects. It really made it easier for us to decide what we wanted for our deck. After deciding on what we wanted for our deck the deconstruction of the old deck began and we got to meet/talk with Jay (project manager), Mike (site manager) and Jim, the craftsman for our deck. The communication throughout the project was great! The roof, that covered most of the 17'x20' deck, was supported by three 4"x4" posts that were set upon the deck surface that was supported by two 2"x8" boards on edge. I was very nervous that the aging understructure might fail and drop the roof onto the deck. Denver Decks installed 3 caissons to support the new 6"x6" posts that would now support the roof and 3 added caissons to support the outer edge of the deck. Each cement caisson was 19" in diameter and 36" deep. My worries about the roof falling ceased to exist! After the old deck was removed Jim began to build the new deck. I do not have words that can adequately express how impressed we were with the craftsmanship, construction knowledge and care that Jim displayed in building our deck. The skill that he displayed in all aspects of the construction were amazing and the best that I've ever witnessed in all of the projects that I've ever hired or been around. He built our deck the way that I would've built it if I had his knowledge, skill, equipment and his many years of construction experience! Thank you Jim! Such decks are not cheap and the price for Denver Decks to do the job was similar to that of the company that said they would not pull permits! Building a deck is one of those many situations in life where you truly do, "get what you paid for" and we didn't pay a cent until the job was finished to our satisfaction. Apologies for such a long review but a short review just would not do in this case. Denver Decks did a great job for us and we wholeheartedly recommend them for your deck. The level of professionalism, honesty, and helpfulness in helping me clearly assess my particular situation, was top-notch. I believe Denver Decks truly wants everything to go 100% correctly, and I don't think they will take a job unless they believe the customer will be happy in the end. Front Range Fence did a great job for us. We had severe damage to our old fence so it had to be replaced. Wish we had done it sooner! It looks great and is perfect for our dogs - we're a small veterinary clinic so this is really important for our patients. The installers were great to work with and we are so happy with the results. They installed a black vinyl coated chain link fence for a sport court we put in. They did an incredible job. Beau was great from start to finish. He was very responsive and worked around our delays in the project. He finished on time and came by afterwards to double check everything. I would highly recommend them. read more

We lost a section of our fence to a…read morestorm system that took out a lot of fences in our area in mid-March, and since our fence is likely original with the house from 1987, we want to get the entire thing replaced. Is it a massive fence? No. Is it a fence that Pioneer could easily bang out in 1.5 - 2 days and charge me several thousands+ of dollars for? Absolutely, and I would have been happy to pay them! I originally called them in late mid-April for a quote and it took them a week to call me back, which is fine; I understand that they're busy right now. Larry came out to my place on May 1st to take measurements for an estimate and was quite delightful, so shout out to Larry! Alex, the office person I spoke with, told me that I would have a quote from them no later than Friday, May 3rd, which never happened. I called on Tuesday, May 7th and left a voicemail, nada. I called again on Monday, May 13th and got Alex on the phone and she said she'd had the stomach flu, blah blah blah, and would get the estimate out to me ASAP as she was leaving on vacation the next day. It's now Monday, May 21st, and I have received absolutely nothing from them. I've been in touch with other fencing companies who have explained that they're booked out 4-6 weeks due to high volume right now, which I totally understand. Giving customers the run-around and not being honest is something that I do not understand, especially as a fellow small business owner. I find it to be such a bummer to be writing this review as I would much rather be writing a review singing Pioneer's praises, but my hope is that this review spurs them into better customer service going forward for others. Transparency will always get you further than lying to someone and wasting their time.
