My son went from plugging his nose just to go underwater to gliding confidently and even jumping off the diving board -- no floaties and no nose plugging! My daughter Olivia mastered gliding and incorporated arms for the freestyle. It was amazing to watch. Ms. Carol is incredibly encouraging and skilled. She teaches out of her own heated pool, and her approach is direct and effective. She's the best swim teacher around. One call out for new parents is that we are asked to leave the lesson. I hung out in the driveway and could still hear everything during the lesson. My recommendation would be if you have a child who is always looking to you for direction - its best to leave so they can focus on what Ms Carole is saying instead. You can always check out the last 5 minutes of the lesson - but I found it helpful to remove myself from distractions. We were really pleased with the progress we made over the summer and my 4 y/o daughter can successfully jump in the water and make it back to the edge from the deep-end.

The management here is incredibly difficult to work with. Scheduling is a persistent challenge, and interactions with the leadership team are often met with a disrespectful and dismissive tone. Most concerning was the discrepancy between the "progress app" and the staff's assessments. Despite the app showing our kids had met the necessary benchmarks, management repeatedly insisted they "needed more time" on basic skills. This created a stagnant loop that felt more about extending tuition cycles. Policies & Make-up Classes The handling of make-up classes was the final straw. While the facility initially promises flexibility with make-ups to secure your enrollment, they make it nearly impossible to actually schedule them. When we attempted to utilize our accrued credits, we were met with resistance and instead pressured to pay for additional private lessons. It is truly a shame to see a place with such potential treat long-term clients this way. We are excited to move to a new location where we hope our children will finally receive the instruction and respect they deserve. This is our second experience with a swim school like this. The first with my son who did weekly…read moresmall group classes. It was less expensive but he spent maybe 10 of the 30 minutes just sitting there with little instruction. A was aggravating to watch. For my daughter, we went with Little Kickers which was more expensive but much more effective and therefore valuable. We've had a variety of instructors over the year's including the famous Annie. We're currently with Becka who totally vibes with our daughter and is the kind of person just meant to teach swim lessons to little kids. Our daughter is now 5 and is completely water safe and working toward mastering her four strokes. Effective!

It set her up for success on a competitive swim team and instilled a love of swimming and personal perseverance. Now, after moving to CO and coming out of the pandemic, we looked into the nearest Goldfish for our other kiddos and they are loving their swim lessons and instructors! We tried a local recreation center because it was cheaper and it just wasn't working- the instructors didn't seem to care and really didn't have a great plan. Our daughter didn't learn a thing and even regressed a bit on some skills. Within just a few months back at Goldfish and she's doing so well! She's regained all lost skill and learned a few new things. We are very happy we brought them back to Goldfish!

Julie was incredibly knowledgeable and made sure to make us all feel comfortable with the variety of skills we needed to know to safely dive for the first time. I felt very prepared from the pool sessions she led to be able to do my open water certification and sessions out in Hawaii. I wasn't able to finish out my certification through Ocean First due to time constraints, but the Dive Instructor out in Hawaii was incredibly impressed with my proficiency underwater, stating that if I hadn't been signed up for the course, they would have assumed I was a much more experienced diver. I lend much of that to the great instruction I had here in the pool. I cannot recommend the course enough and certainly suggest everyone who wants to learn to dive to stop by.
