They go above & beyond to help grow the sport in this area- including spearheading the fundraising and installation of red tee pads at Como Lake Park in Lancaster. They have a very active social media presence and post as soon as they receive shipments. They're always happy to set aside a disc or two for you. Also, they accept drop-offs of discs that you may find while on the course and will reach out to the number on the disc to get it returned. If you're a female or beginner getting into disc golf, Spartan has a section of lightweight discs available which are usually easier to control & throw than heavier or higher speed discs. I do find their prices to be a little higher than other stores carrying disc golf supplies. And the presence of vape in the store is a bit off-putting. But, those things aside, it's definitely worth a visit if you play and are looking to add to your bag.

I was holding my husband's hat (which he just bought at the stand upstairs) and he was looking for a jersey. She came over to us and just stood there staring, kept looking at my hands as If I was stealing the hat he had just purchased or something. She didn't say a word just stood there for a good 5 min. Finally, she chimed in when he was trying on a jersey and said that one's good. Mind you the store was packed w at least a few hundred more people she can walk around to after I already told her we were good, she still just stood there and stared. I was so pissed off I should have said something right there, but our kids were with us. She was definitely racial profiling- and its a shame bc we are both very well put together and have never stolen anything in our lives--he didn't deserve that.

We found Doug at Curtis Sport Connection online via search engine. His prices were by far the best however I was a little concerned about making a purchase like this online. I can say Mr. Doug Curtis took really good care of us. He made sure it got shipped to a terminal that was closest to our house, made sure I had the right gear that fit our needs, gave me important instructions on when picking up my items from the freight company and called to check up on me after purchase. He even took the time to talk me through putting it together when I had a hard time assembling it. Everything worked out perfectly. I had a friend purchase as well. He shopped around and found Curtis to have the best deal. If you're interested in learning how to dive, definitely check out Dip-N-Dive. They offer multiple certification sessions. Some of them are once a week and other more fast track programs are twice a week (evenings) and generally only take ~8 classes or so. The equipment here is priced really high and if you are going to sign up for their diving class, they will ask you to have your own snorkel, mask and fins, weight belt, belt and boots. Those items will run close to $400, so just be aware of the additional expenses you'll incur.
