The guy working was very helpful and didn't put a lot of pressure on us to buy. My significant other needed a different size in snowboard boots and apparently the new stock is yet to come in. I replaced 2 cables, opening one shifter, learning how they work and following how they are attached to the bike. It was a great experience. I had a goofy grin on the whole time. I was ecstatic to finally get down and dirty to the guts of my bike. The place is housed in an old police station with bikes surrounding the entrance, literally hanging around. I highly recommend bringing your used bikes here as donations and using the workshop to repair your bikes. It was so much cooler than just dropping my bike off to be fixed by someone, although they will do that for you, you don't have to do it yourself. It's just a unique option to learn while doing the work yourself.

Some of them are once a week and other more fast track programs are twice a week (evenings) and generally only take ~8 classes or so. The equipment here is priced really high and if you are going to sign up for their diving class, they will ask you to have your own snorkel, mask and fins, weight belt, belt and boots. Those items will run close to $400, so just be aware of the additional expenses you'll incur.
