The guys at the front seemed nice and friendly, but started to ask me a lot of questions about the car -- probably to size up whether they could take me for a ride. A few minutes later, they came back and claimed that my brakes needed to be fully replaced because the brake pads had "completely worn away" -- in their words, "metal on metal." I knew that our brake pads were due for a change in the next month or two, but because our car gets serviced every six months, I told them there was no way the pads were so worn down they couldn't pass the inspection. They claimed they couldn't pass the inspection, but that they "wouldn't fail" the car, "as a courtesy." Red flags everywhere. Before packing up to go, I asked them to show me. They brought me over and flashed a flashlight on the front wheels. When I pointed out that the brakes and brake pads aren't visible unless the tires are off, they said they'd remove the tires to show me (which they apparently hadn't done yet). I told them no way and headed out of there. Went straight to our car dealer's service center, who confirmed -- on video -- that our car had 2mm of brake pads on both front brakes and should have passed any inspection.

They were waiting for me when I arrived and were so kind and helpful. Right away figured out there was a nail in tire that I couldn't see, and repaired it quickly at a very reasonable price. My old place had a whole area inside to sit and wait. This place does not and I was a little concerned because I have a disability walk with a cane and can't stand for more than a few minutes. Without asking, the owner (I believe it was the owner) grabbed a folding chair from outside on a hot day and set it down inside the store. I was impressed and touched by the gesture. I can't say I won't go back to my old place occasionally but I am do glad to have found this service station close to home

Unbelievably great service. Bobby has been able to tell what is wrong with my cars sometimes just…read moreby listening to them. No matter how complicated the repair is, he knows exactly what it takes to correctly and permanently fix it and doesn't throw in work that you do not need. His prices are just outstanding - as long as I have known him he has always been honest and fair and gets the work done on time or faster with never an excuse. I have recommended many others to him and Paramount and everyone has come away with the same feeling - they are a customer for life of Bobby's and Paramount and so am I.
