And I visit yearly, on my birthday, and this is my NEW FAVORITE STORE on the island! It is amazing! I loved the contemporary home accents and illuminated wall-mounted glass art "sheets". I especially loved the organic wall-mounted terrariums which are the coolest living sculptural pieces I've ever seen! There were some interesting (in a good way!) wooden art "mobiles" suspended from the ceiling, and some nice area rugs as well. But what caught my eye the most was the most GORGEOUS jewelry, hand-made, by a local artist, for a line called "Ginger". I tried on some amazing bracelets that I now regret not getting. Very unique, made from gem-stone beads and polished gems and vintage crystals. The necklaces were also knock-out pieces. Just combinations of gems (polished and not) and crystals, with unique clasps, that I've never seen before. They also had some fabulous totes (I loved the one with Michelle Obama!), and soaps and small house items. The guy at the counter was very nice and knowlegeable about the products. I liked how folks with their dogs were welcome in the store. Even large dogs! What a wonderful store!

The owner has a cat that lives in the store, when you first walk up you will see a bunch of orange stuffed cats sitting in the window. She has a real Garfield cat. The cat is huge, the biggest I've ever seen, and his name is Squirt. LOL! The cat is a love and the owner doesn't mind you stopping in just to pay a visit to squirt. If you're down there at night after the shops closed up, usually you can tap on the window and Squirt will come strut his stuff infront of the window. I've never actually bought anything in here, but I have heard really good things about them, so if you do need a frame, go here, give the lady some business so she can buy food for her fat cat.

They had some items out, a smattering, and a clearance room in the back that consisted mainly of Christmas items. The biggest draw for us was that the business is/was located in an old bank building. They still have the old safes, which is very cool and worth the trip just for that. The store will be moving to a new location in Bremerton, and back to normal appearance there, I'm supposing. My husband and I both felt it had an almost museum feel to it (especially with the bank vault in the center of the store). We also thought pricing (at least on furniture pieces - which is what we were shopping) was reasonable. We didn't ultimately find what we were looking for on this trip, but we'd certainly stop-in again. Pro-Tip: Be careful navigating some of those narrow back halls. It almost feels like a "breakables" obstacle course in parts.
