    Why Satan of all airlines
    Trika C.

I HATE Frontier Airlines. This was a last minute trip due to my Aunt passing away. I was so relieved to find a flight from Seattle to Texas for $200, three hour layover going and coming back. Six hours total layover time. For the discount we were willing to do the layover. Spoiler alert!!!! Yes, this discount airfare is to good to be true :( Alaska airlines was priced at $300 round trip non-stop. We are a family of four, choosing Frontier Airlines initially saved me $400... I thanked God for covering my family during our time of loss. The devil heard our praises and got busy. The airfare is a bate to scam you as soon as you finalize your ticket. We had to pay $100 each to take our backpacks on this flight because the top strap of our backpacks, one of the backpacks shown in the picture was over the top of the box, that your bag is sized in. The manager shown in the picture initially said the bag needed to fit in the box, once I got the bag in the box the manager said we needed to pay $100 for the backpacks, due to the strap not being in the box. This airline is the devil :(... If you feel good about finding an affordable flight with Frontier Airlines, do note that if you're bring anything other than yourself that you did not pay additional for, Satan's little helpers will find away to scam you out of more money to accommodate the price of the airfare. I still ended up paying $300 per person for a flight with six hours of layover time. I will not make this mistake again!

This airline let me stranded without compensation. Arguments between myself and frontier airline below before small claim court hearing. "Our records indicate you boarded flight 2580 from PDX-PHX, and when arriving in PHX, notification was sent at 3:56am MST notifying you flight 2246 was cancelled due to maintenance. " The statement above is untrue. According to email sent from Frontier Airline at 1:25 AM, flight 2246 was reaching capacity. Nowhere in any frontier airline email contain the word "cancellation due to maintenance". This is a breach of contract by lying to the customer, therefore the contract is voided. All evidence are shown in the images attached with this message. "As a customer service gesture for the inconvenience, all passengers were issued $100 travel vouchers and offered to be rebooked on the next available Frontier flight, or to be issued a refund. Notification to the cancellation as well as for action to be taken was sent to xxx@GMAIL.COMand the phone number on file. No action was taken by you to be rebooked or refunded. As no action was taken, a refund of $52.23 which includes the impacted segment and the portion of the seat fee purchased on April 17, 2024 back to the MasterCard used at purchase ending in x5902. Refunds for completed segments would not be issued under the Contract." This is my first time ever flying Frontier Airline. I was exhausted due to an unexpected 2 1/2 hour delay in the first segment of the Frontier Airline flight, arriving at 2:38 am. There are many people resting and sleeping on the ground like myself in the waiting area. Due to other passengers' noise (snoring sounds), I put on my earplug and therefore did not hear the text message immediately at 3:56 am. I took take action immediately, around 6 AM when I woke up, according to email link to rebook or refund provided from your airline. However, the email link leads to nowhere (and still is as of 4/16/24). Video clip of such failure from your airline included below. I told Frontier Airline attendant (shown in attached pictures) about my need to catch my connecting flight with Spirit Airline at 2 PM. She said, there is no option for Frontier Airline to reroute me to catch that connection flight. She told me that frontier airline cannot fly me back to my origination city, pdx, either. That's why I purchased a same day Alaska airline ticket flying me back to Pdx more than $400 one way. All of my statements above have documentation for support. Out of 300 flights at Phoenix Arizona airport on the date on my flight, there is only one flight was canceled, which was mine (evidence shown in the picture of below). This proves your airline's substandard flight service. Lack of option to compensate for your substandard flight, either by returning the customer back to origination point or rerouting to catch connection flight proved your substandard customer service. I think your company will have issue in justifying to the judge the harsh customer contract, out of the normal range for airline industry and out of range for a layman's expectation. Therefore, I will let the judges decide who is more reasonable. In addition, prior to the court date, I plan to disseminate my evidence, including your response throughout social media account to let others know about the standard practice of your company, including Google, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and others. It is simply a cut and paste effort for me. If I happen to win this case, I will provide instruction on social media on how to file such a claim for other people to emulate. See you in court. This terrible airline had ample space and made us check our bags, don't use them!

Paid for baggage and they didn't return our money, clearly plenty of room. They have terrible service and ruined our carry ons thst we were made yo check!

Because we have oneworld status we were able to use the First Class checkin. Lines were long but given it was Memorial Day, understandable. Agents were friendly and helpful. Our original flight wasn't until 11:25a but there was an earlier flight at 8 that the checking agent was able to get us on. Because we switched flights, we couldn't get premium economy seats or be seated next to each other like we had for our earlier flight but we'd get home three hours sooner. So that was well worth the trade off. Alaska serves the tastiest Hazelnut Espresso Vodka and Five Farms Irish Cream Liquor. When you get both and add milk, it's a delicious cocktail. Friendly flight attendants.

Our aircraft was grounded due to a wheel problem, and all passengers were asked to deplane. I understand that safety must always come first, and I appreciate that the airline chose not to take unnecessary risks. Unfortunately, everything that followed was handled poorly. An Alaska Airlines representative rebooked me from my original itinerary, which was scheduled to arrive around 3:30 p.m., to the last flight of the night, changing my arrival time to approximately midnight. When I questioned the change, I was told to go to the standby gate in Seattle because they could not change my reservation back to the earlier flight, but the gate agents there would be able to help. I followed those instructions exactly. When I arrived at the standby gate, I discovered that Alaska Airlines had not completed the reservation correctly, and I still could not board an earlier flight. I was forced to remain on the last flight of the night because of the airline's mistake. While I was trying to resolve the issue with a gate agent, another employee who identified himself as the supervisor interrupted our conversation and began having a personal discussion with the agent while I was standing there waiting for assistance. It was disrespectful and incredibly frustrating to be ignored while trying to solve a problem created by the airline. When I expressed my frustration, the supervisor simply told me to go to Customer Service elsewhere in the terminal instead of allowing the agent to continue helping me. Fortunately, I eventually met Cesar at Customer Service. He was, without question, the most professional, courteous, and helpful employee I encountered that day. He listened, understood the situation, and genuinely worked to help resolve it. Cesar deserves recognition for providing the level of customer service every Alaska Airlines employee should strive to deliver. Mechanical problems happen, and passengers understand that. What is much harder to accept is poor communication, conflicting information, lack of follow-through, and employees who seem unwilling or unable to solve problems. Instead of taking ownership, I was sent from one employee to another while my travel plans continued to deteriorate. Passengers deserve to be treated with respect and should be able to rely on the airline to honor the transportation they purchased or provide competent assistance when disruptions occur. My experience fell far short of that expectation. With the exception of Cesar, every interaction I had left me feeling that customer service was not a priority. Alaska Airlines should invest in better communication, employee training, and empowering frontline staff to resolve customer issues instead of passing passengers from one desk to another. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend Alaska Airlines. Safety should never be compromised, but neither should customer service. An airline is judged not by whether problems occur, but by how it treats its passengers when they do. Unfortunately, Alaska Airlines failed that test.

But I've flown with Delta plenty of times thru the years, and usually have a good experience with them. Fast forward to 2026, and most airlines will nickle and dime you on all their services; services that used to be complimentary. But it's a whole different world now. However, Delta is one of the very few airlines that will still allow a free carry on item plus a personal item. So kudos to Delta! As with all other airlines, Delta has cut back on their meal service. Food is available for purchase but don't expect a free meal on board. I had a 6.5 hr flight and all we got was your choice of Cheezits, pretzels or cookies, and a beverage. We could have purchased a cold, probably not so good sandwich for $15 but no thanks! Best to eat before boarding or bring your own food into the plane. Please don't bring stinky food onto the plane....everyone will thank you! lol All in all, (even though services have been cut), hospitality and customer service is still pretty great! Kudos to Delta's friendly, professional and courteous staff!

Had an unusual (for us) situation occur, so instead of putting it on reddit, documenting it here…read more My wife and I regularly fly Delta roundtrip from LAX to SEA to visit our daughter/son-in-law, so probably have flown this flight leg over 10 times in the past 3 years or so. We were heading back on a 17:30 flight, but needed to check out of our airbnb by 11, so ended up at the airport quite early (like more than 5 hours early). Delta allows one to check their bags up to 6 hours earlier than departure time, and since we now had wine that we needed to bring back, needed to check two bags. Everything went fine, and the agent gave us the receipts. Later I noticed that the our flight number was not on the tags, but the notifications on the Delta App said it was checked in for the right flight. I then got a notification 45 minutes later stating that our bags were now on the plane. My first (incorrect) thought was, "Wow, our plane got here real early.". But then I realized that it was a different flight number, and they were going to send the bags on a much earlier flight. Since I had time before my flight (and I don't mind walking), decided to see if I could get some help to get the bag pulled as soon it entered the carousel at LAX (vs having it spin around for 1 hour before being picked up). I figured I would get some help since the situation was caused by somebody at Delta doing something incorrect, in the first place. Initially went to the Delta Lounge to see if the service agent inside could help me. Since I was still well outside the 3 hour access period, was told (nicely) by the entry agent to go to Concourse B to get help from an agent. Once I got there, noticed there were two agents on duty with no queue. Karen pleasantly asked me how she could help, and then proceeded to do the opposite. Once I explained my problem, her response was 'it happens sometimes', and that unclaimed bags would be picked up for storage and I could pick it up later at the office. I told her that I didn't like it being unattended where anybody could just pick it up and go, and instead if Delta baggage from LAX could grab it as soon as it came out (I know this is possible). She sighed and then started to type away for 5 minutes, mumbling that she would look for the phone number for the LAX baggage office. I wasn't sure if she was going to just give me the number for me to call, or she would do it herself...but it never got that far. She just said that her computer wasn't cooperating, and that I could use the bank of landline phones to call Delta customer service to get the number. The bad part of me wanted to tell the next person in line, 'she won't be much help' while pointing to Karen and walking away, but thought better of it. I then walked back to the Delta lounge, told the entry agent that Karen wasn't very helpful, and asked nicely if I could talk to an agent in the lounge. She agreed (but warned me that I needed to leave as soon as I was done) and directed me to Susan. I explained my problem, and she proceeded to confidently tell me that I could pick up my bags at the LAX baggage office. After two iterations of this, I told her that 'she wasn't listening to me'...which finally got her attention. I requested if she could call the LAX office, and she said that she could try, but often times, they don't pick up the phone. And she told me if the baggage was stolen, I could always file a claim. I still asked her to try to call, and she said she would. When it became clear that she wouldn't do it at that moment, there was nothing more for me to do but to leave. I did later get a notification on the Delta App that my bags had arrived at the carousel, being one of the first bags out. It was then a full 90 minutes later when I got a notification saying that it had been picked up by the Delta baggage office...so thinking there was no call. As we were boarding our flight, got an email saying that our baggage needed to be picked up at the baggage office, since it had arrived early. When we got to LAX (almost 2 hours late because of delays), the bags were waiting for us just like Delta said it would. Learned (again) that sometimes trying to be proactive about solving a possible edge-case problem, requires the people who can help to agree that 1) it's a problem and 2) they should spend the effort to help the customer solve it. On this day, the LAX/SEA Delta employees and I didn't agree on either.

Their communication was polite and reassuring, which added to the overall positive experience. The landing was smooth, and the arrival procedures were handled efficiently. Disembarkation was managed properly, and baggage delivery was timely. My luggage arrived safely without any damage or delay. Overall, the journey was comfortable and hassle-free. While there is always room for minor improvements, such as additional entertainment options or expanded meal choices, the overall service quality was reliable. I mean, at this point what can I really say about Spirit that we all don't already know?…read more I still say in certain situations; they can be a decent fit. Take our recent quick 2-day trip from LAS to SEA. Roundtrip tickets were barely over $100 per person round trip. Holy crap! Say what you want, but that is a real good price! Bag fees are tricky for me. If I have a short trip I don't need to pack a lot. No matter what you do, you do get a free personal item. That is really calling it too tight for comfort, IMO. So, for this last trip I did an upgrade on their website for $35 per way, per person ($140.00 total). My extra $140 got us assigned seating to sit next to my partner for both flights near the front of the plane for both legs. It also got both of us a free carry-on item each, both ways in addition to our personal item. More than enough for a 2-day trip! Considering the fact that, if you checked in a bag at the airport day of, it could cost you $65 per bag, per leg that feels like a great deal! I mean, even with the extra money my total ticket price is still under $200 each round trip. I can totally live with that! As for the flights themselves, it is still Spirit so keep your expectations reasonable (read:low). Both flights were delayed, but nothing too bad. Usual mix of some very nice employees and some mildly passive ones as well. Nothing too bad. Honestly, I can bitch all I want, but I know for the right price and a short enough trip I will use them again. 3 stars.

The airline is known for offering flights to the most destinations around the world. I flew on Turkish a few years ago from Seattle to Thessaloniki via Istanbul during spring break. For the most part, it was a good experience. The pluses are mostly with the in-flight experience. They use Dreamliner planes and serve tasty meals on all flights, including my short haul flights to and from Greece. The IFE system has extensive entertainment and they give all passengers an amenity bag on long haul flights. Lastly, the baggage allowance is generous as you can check in 2 bags. I do also want to bring up some items to consider booking on Turkish. My flight to Istanbul was nearly a hour late, but I still made my connection. Try not to book flights with short layovers. Also some of the connections have long layovers to destinations in the Middle East and Central Asia with flights arriving at odd hours. You may want to consider doing a stopover in Istanbul instead, which Turkish has a good program for. Lastly, gate security in Istanbul is extensive. So expect a thorough check of your carryon items before your flight. Overall, I enjoyed flying on Turkish. It is a well run airline with good fares to Europe and a great in-flight experience. However, you should consider travel time, especially layovers and the amount of backtracking needed to get to your destination when deciding whether to book.

Our layover was long enough to be able to get to our next gate, and yet short enough to feel like we weren't wasting time. The flight was frankly luxurious compared to other long international flights. We flew to South America yearly for a while, and the economy experience on Turkish Airlines was like the Business Class experience on the unnamed airline to Montevideo. There were always two options for the meals. My wife was able to get gluten-free meals. The help staff was extremely friendly and helpful. It may well have been the best long flight experience in my life.

Had amazing experience flying from Seattle to Helsinki to my home country Latvia with Finnair…read more Finnair expanded their flights and I was happy to see that I can fly trough Helsinki instead of Frankfurt to my home country out of Seattle because layover was shorter and it's also only 1 hour flight from Helsinki to Riga. Finnair partner up with British airways business lounge and it was very decent food and drinks (compare what I had with Lufthansa last year few celery sticks and a cookie). The lounge wasn't so big and one can hear some rude people speaking loud on their phones but it had a nice view of the runway. Our flight was on time and I was settling in my Business class seat after short boarding process. They welcomed me with the drink ( I choose their signature blueberry juice and Northern Blush cocktail -must try) and they also provide amenity kit (which was disappointing) It didn't had toothbrush or any socks, also their cream had very bad smell and texture. I hope they will improve that. The wireless phone charger didn't work for me because my phone has a case and it was not picking it up. Pillow blanket and pad were provided, also I noticed that I didn't got any slippers because when I was leaving the plane I saw many people had same slippers. Food was very good on the way there. I had for an appetizer crab meat with mayo mousse, caprese salad and nice piece of salmon with veggies. For dessert I had raspberry tart with tea. And plenty of blueberry juice- thats my favorite! (Unfortunately food on the way back wasn't great. They ran out of their signature drink Northern Blush at Helsinki which is Finnair hub!!! Smocked salmon on the way back was too salty and too smocked. Weird food options like shrimp quiche for breakfast or pork dinner which is not so appealing even to person that doesn't have any dietary restrictions. Both breakfast and dinner were bad, breakfast looked poor and tasted poor and dinner I couldn't even eat. Also why to serve cauliflower as a side on a long haul flights). Important to note seat doesn't recline but it lay flat! So you can't adjust it for a recliner like on other planes. Also belt is like in a car. But it didn't bothered me because I could adjust leg part of the seat but not the back. Entertainment was good and they had a lot of good new movies available. I wasn't bored at all! I watch Missis Harris goes to Paris (what an amazing inspirational movie) and The unbearable weight of massive talent. Bed was cozy and I had 4 h nap and woke up to breakfast. Hour and a half before landing in Helsinki they served us Breakfast which was very generous. It had cheese & ham, croissant, bread muffin, fruits, omelette, yogurt and mini jam. I was full and ready to spend 6 h layover at Helsinki! (Originally was 1h40m but then they changed it) Enjoyed my flight and definetely will consider again. Hopefully they will keep their good pricing compare to Swiss and Lufthansa!

I was a bit skeptical at first as I had originally booked with British Air, only to find out that the flights were operated by Finnair. Thankfully, there was clear communication regarding flight details once booked. Onboard, the cabin crew were exceptionally friendly and attentive, ensuring all passengers were comfortable. The meals served were well proportioned for "airline food." You must try their signature blueberry juice! There was a slight delay departing Seattle, but I had no issues with my connecting flight in Helsinki. All of my other flights took off on time, and we arrived a few minutes early each time. The only drawback is with luggage. My particular ticket was for carry-on luggage only. Finnair has a max combined weight of 8kg (~17.5 lbs), which can be difficult to meet with most suitcases. I used a light-weight travel backpack and just barely made the cutoff. Overall, Finnair exceeded my expectations, and I highly recommend them for anyone traveling from Seattle, WA to Vilnius, Lithuania. I will be flying with Finnair again!
