    Redemption of drink ticket!!
    Regina L.

** Southwest is now counting neck-pillows, tiny cross bodypurses on self, etc as a Carry on item. If you cannot put it in your purse or carry on suitcase then you have you pay $35 to check it on and $45 for second check on and I believe it's $150 for the 3rd if you have additional. Tip* if you have a Free drink ticket with your boarding pass you may have to inform the crew before you sit down. When I tried on my departing flight to use it the flight attendant wouldn't take it ("drinks are free") and I was too tired to discuss over other passengers next to me. The returning flight I informed the crew and I had no issues.

Thank you Seattle for an amazing trip Thank you Southwest Airlines for a safe ride and for pointing out the comet and for bringing me home safe

Always enjoy flying Southwest. Came in from Seattle and the flight crew was hilarious. They even put some passengers in their place (e.g., swearing). This flight had a young child and they made sure to escort him off first. Planes are clean too. Make sure to get early bird if you can. We'll worth it.

I really love southwest and have been faithful for the most part for many years. I just love how they keep it light and the seating policy, even though people are always trying to board out of order. I had one issue in Colorado and the luggage took 4ever. When that happened they told us we would have points automatically added to our flight. That happened but it took about 5 phone calls to come to fruition. I was surprised that i had to beg.

It was amazing to surpass the security line with our own private entrance- super cool. The seats were comfortable; however, I will say that when lying completely flat, you have to have your feet close together - it is very tight. The movie selection was sadly not anything recent. The meals were good - both coming and going to/from Rome. The dessert with the sundae bar was fun. The attendants were kind and addressed any needs throughout the flight. Smooth flight, great service, highly recommend!

Our aircraft was grounded due to a wheel problem, and all passengers were asked to deplane. I understand that safety must always come first, and I appreciate that the airline chose not to take unnecessary risks. Unfortunately, everything that followed was handled poorly. An Alaska Airlines representative rebooked me from my original itinerary, which was scheduled to arrive around 3:30 p.m., to the last flight of the night, changing my arrival time to approximately midnight. When I questioned the change, I was told to go to the standby gate in Seattle because they could not change my reservation back to the earlier flight, but the gate agents there would be able to help. I followed those instructions exactly. When I arrived at the standby gate, I discovered that Alaska Airlines had not completed the reservation correctly, and I still could not board an earlier flight. I was forced to remain on the last flight of the night because of the airline's mistake. While I was trying to resolve the issue with a gate agent, another employee who identified himself as the supervisor interrupted our conversation and began having a personal discussion with the agent while I was standing there waiting for assistance. It was disrespectful and incredibly frustrating to be ignored while trying to solve a problem created by the airline. When I expressed my frustration, the supervisor simply told me to go to Customer Service elsewhere in the terminal instead of allowing the agent to continue helping me. Fortunately, I eventually met Cesar at Customer Service. He was, without question, the most professional, courteous, and helpful employee I encountered that day. He listened, understood the situation, and genuinely worked to help resolve it. Cesar deserves recognition for providing the level of customer service every Alaska Airlines employee should strive to deliver. Mechanical problems happen, and passengers understand that. What is much harder to accept is poor communication, conflicting information, lack of follow-through, and employees who seem unwilling or unable to solve problems. Instead of taking ownership, I was sent from one employee to another while my travel plans continued to deteriorate. Passengers deserve to be treated with respect and should be able to rely on the airline to honor the transportation they purchased or provide competent assistance when disruptions occur. My experience fell far short of that expectation. With the exception of Cesar, every interaction I had left me feeling that customer service was not a priority. Alaska Airlines should invest in better communication, employee training, and empowering frontline staff to resolve customer issues instead of passing passengers from one desk to another. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend Alaska Airlines. Safety should never be compromised, but neither should customer service. An airline is judged not by whether problems occur, but by how it treats its passengers when they do. Unfortunately, Alaska Airlines failed that test.

But I've flown with Delta plenty of times thru the years, and usually have a good experience with them. Fast forward to 2026, and most airlines will nickle and dime you on all their services; services that used to be complimentary. But it's a whole different world now. However, Delta is one of the very few airlines that will still allow a free carry on item plus a personal item. So kudos to Delta! As with all other airlines, Delta has cut back on their meal service. Food is available for purchase but don't expect a free meal on board. I had a 6.5 hr flight and all we got was your choice of Cheezits, pretzels or cookies, and a beverage. We could have purchased a cold, probably not so good sandwich for $15 but no thanks! Best to eat before boarding or bring your own food into the plane. Please don't bring stinky food onto the plane....everyone will thank you! lol All in all, (even though services have been cut), hospitality and customer service is still pretty great! Immediately we were being yelled at by Christine. " GATES CLOSE 15 MIN TO DEPARTURE" I stated that "I understood that. If the plane hadn't left early we would have made the connecting flight" she continues her harsh tone. " I DIDN'T TAKE THE PLANE OFF!" My mother and I paused because she was quite aggressive. I told her " Are we speaking to you with hostility? Why are we receiving this tone from you?" With amazement she responds with " I am speaking to you with hostility! What do you want to do about it." Shocked my mother reply's with " you must be having a long day" with remorse and she says " MY DAY HAS JUST STARTED" Absolutely horrible employee delta has chosen to handle customers. Unapologetic and acknowledging hostility when receiving none. Not only was the scheduling of delta to have a connecting flight leave early with out the paying lay over customers. To then be given Christine the hostile employee really ruined the end of our vacation. I hope this isn't in the training that Delta provides for employees on how to handle customers looking for other ways to get home. Christine is responsible for us considering other airlines when flying next time.

You will be pestered with emails suggesting to pay for this and that in advance to make your trip more pleasant or predictable. You MAY be asked to prove that your hand luggage fits in their size bins (there were two next to my gate with stern warnings, so you can try in advance). You CAN pay through the app in the airport if you need to convert your personal item into a carry-on but that will eat some of the savings. The seats do not tilt; because of that the seating area is actually wider and pant size 42 man comfortably fits with no intrusion to the neighboring space. IMHO 44 should fit too. Your flight crew WILL be nice and bottomless tea or coffee will be 4 bucks. The lavatory is, probably, not cleaned between the flights. I was first and the seat was already "sprinkled" and one of two rolls of toilet paper was already down to the bare core. Short delays are very common with Frontier (at least on LAX-SEA they are) but usually they recover most of it through the flight. My flight left 20 minutes late but arrived on-time. If you fly with just the "personal item" AKA small backpack 18x14x8", accept the toilet situation (I am not saying that they never clean, only that on my flight it was not - for sure), and OK with the need to walk / take a free shuttle from the gate to the airplane, you will save 35%. If you have carry on, you will save ~15%, and if you are flexible with your travel dates, you will fly half-price comparing to the major airlines. The caveat is the usual - no changes and no upgrades of anything.

There was a woman and a man who were in the back of the plane where the restrooms are. Before the flight even took off, the woman said to her male coworker that "the higher ups" don't like her and that's why she's in the back. They then continued talking extremely loudly to the extent that I and several people seated near me thought the conversation was coming out of the overhead speakers. Their conversations consisted of a kind of flirty exchange where the woman was sharing her entire dating life, stories about being drunk and even saying that she has 6 months clean. They continued talking extremely loudly despite multiple passengers looking back and questioning how they could be so unaware. The plane was extremely quiet as many people were returning from Las Vegas so extremely tired and trying to nap. After about 45 minutes, I went to the bathroom near them and politely asked if they realized that the whole back half of the plane e could hear their entire conversation. The response was that this is how they keep themselves awake on the job and began laughing and exchanging undermining and outwardly rude glances. I went back to my seat and about 10 minutes later, a man who was two rows from the back of the plane stood up and asked something similar to the following...would you guys mind keeping it down? We have spent the entire time on this flight listening to your discussions about inappropriate subjects and we would appreciate it if you would remain professional and spare us the details of your personal lives. They laughed and did not respond at which point t he said, "no wonder the higher up's don't like you." They continued to converse loudly and snicker about the passengers requests. At one point a different flight attendant approached them and we thought she would be asking them to quiet down but within moments she was laughing and clearly not informing them that they were out of line. At this time, I was filming and attempting to Document the situation. The woman then approached my seat and demanded that I stop recording. She had a red card and said if I did not stop recording she would hand the red card and I would be met by the police upon landing. When I tried to explain the situation, she said that she was unaware of that and when I asked for a supervisor, she stated the there was no supervisor on board and reminded me that it is against privacy rules to Record anyone without their permission. Overall, this was the worst flight I have ever experienced. The lack of professionalism and common courtesy was astounding. I will never fly with Frontier again.

My biggest concern was arriving well-rested instead of exhausted, so I decided to upgrade. From the moment I reached the airport, I could already tell the experience was going to be different. The dedicated Business Class check-in counter was almost empty, and within a few minutes my baggage had been checked and my boarding pass was ready. The staff were welcoming, explained everything clearly, and the entire process felt organized instead of rushed. ## *Time in the Lounge* With plenty of time before boarding, I headed to the Business Class lounge. It was one of the quietest airport lounges I've visited, with comfortable seating overlooking the runway and a relaxed atmosphere that made it easy to forget I was inside a busy international terminal. I enjoyed a freshly prepared meal, grabbed a cappuccino, and spent some time answering emails using the complimentary Wi-Fi. There were charging points everywhere, clean shower facilities, and enough space that it never felt overcrowded. By the time boarding was announced, I felt surprisingly relaxed instead of mentally drained. ## *Boarding & Cabin Experience* Boarding started exactly on time, and Business Class passengers were invited onboard first. That simple advantage made a noticeable difference because I could settle into my seat without navigating crowded aisles or competing for overhead storage space. The cabin crew greeted every passenger with genuine warmth, helped everyone get comfortable, and offered welcome drinks before departure. The cabin itself felt elegant, quiet, and spacious, creating an atmosphere that immediately separated it from the rest of the aircraft. ## *During the Flight* Once we reached cruising altitude, the service began without feeling rushed. Dinner was served course by course, and I was honestly impressed by both the presentation and the quality of the food. Everything tasted fresh, and the portions were satisfying without being overly heavy. After dinner, I spent some time watching a movie before converting the seat into a fully flat bed. I managed to sleep for almost six hours, something I rarely accomplish on flights. Throughout the journey, the cabin crew remained attentive, regularly offering drinks and checking whether passengers needed anything while still respecting everyone's privacy. ## *Arrival & Final Thoughts* As we began our descent, I realized how different I felt compared to most long-haul flights. Instead of counting the hours until I could leave the aircraft, I actually felt rested. After landing, my suitcase arrived among the first bags on the carousel, making the arrival process much quicker than expected. Looking back, the biggest advantage wasn't just the comfortable seat or excellent meals--it was how effortless the entire journey felt from beginning to end. I arrived refreshed, well-rested, and ready to start my trip immediately, which made the Business Class upgrade completely worthwhile.

Due to heavy traffic on the way to the airport, I missed my original flight by just a few minutes. I was honestly expecting the situation to become much more stressful, but the airline staff at the service desk remained calm and guided me through the available options. After checking the next available flight, they helped me with the rebooking process much faster than I expected. Although waiting for another departure wasn't ideal, I appreciated how clearly everything was explained. I was kept informed about the new boarding time, and the entire process felt organized rather than chaotic. By the time I reached the gate for my new flight, I was much more relaxed. ## *A Pleasant Airport Experience Despite the Delay* Since I suddenly had extra time before departure, I walked around the terminal, grabbed lunch, and caught up on a few work emails. The boarding announcements were clear, and the gate staff handled the process efficiently once it was time to board. Passengers entered the aircraft in an orderly manner, and everything started on schedule. Even after the stressful beginning to the day, boarding felt calm and well managed, which immediately improved my mood. ## *Comfortable Flight with Helpful Crew* The aircraft was clean, and my aisle seat was comfortable enough for the journey. Shortly after takeoff, the cabin crew welcomed everyone and began serving refreshments. Throughout the flight they remained approachable and friendly, checking regularly to see if anyone needed assistance. The captain kept passengers informed about the route and expected arrival time, and the flight itself remained smooth from start to finish. By the end of the journey, I had almost forgotten how stressful the morning had been. ## *Excellent Service Left a Positive Impression* After landing, baggage delivery was quicker than expected, and I was able to leave the airport without any additional delays. While missing my original flight was completely my own fault, the airline handled the situation professionally and made the rest of the journey surprisingly easy. That experience showed me that good customer service isn't only about when everything goes perfectly--it's also about how problems are handled. Because of that, I'd happily choose this airline again.

I mean, at this point what can I really say about Spirit that we all don't already know?…read more I still say in certain situations; they can be a decent fit. Take our recent quick 2-day trip from LAS to SEA. Roundtrip tickets were barely over $100 per person round trip. Holy crap! Say what you want, but that is a real good price! Bag fees are tricky for me. If I have a short trip I don't need to pack a lot. No matter what you do, you do get a free personal item. That is really calling it too tight for comfort, IMO. So, for this last trip I did an upgrade on their website for $35 per way, per person ($140.00 total). My extra $140 got us assigned seating to sit next to my partner for both flights near the front of the plane for both legs. It also got both of us a free carry-on item each, both ways in addition to our personal item. More than enough for a 2-day trip! Considering the fact that, if you checked in a bag at the airport day of, it could cost you $65 per bag, per leg that feels like a great deal! I mean, even with the extra money my total ticket price is still under $200 each round trip. I can totally live with that! As for the flights themselves, it is still Spirit so keep your expectations reasonable (read:low). Both flights were delayed, but nothing too bad. Usual mix of some very nice employees and some mildly passive ones as well. Nothing too bad. Honestly, I can bitch all I want, but I know for the right price and a short enough trip I will use them again. 3 stars.

The airline is known for offering flights to the most destinations around the world. I flew on Turkish a few years ago from Seattle to Thessaloniki via Istanbul during spring break. For the most part, it was a good experience. The pluses are mostly with the in-flight experience. They use Dreamliner planes and serve tasty meals on all flights, including my short haul flights to and from Greece. The IFE system has extensive entertainment and they give all passengers an amenity bag on long haul flights. Lastly, the baggage allowance is generous as you can check in 2 bags. I do also want to bring up some items to consider booking on Turkish. My flight to Istanbul was nearly a hour late, but I still made my connection. Try not to book flights with short layovers. Also some of the connections have long layovers to destinations in the Middle East and Central Asia with flights arriving at odd hours. You may want to consider doing a stopover in Istanbul instead, which Turkish has a good program for. Lastly, gate security in Istanbul is extensive. So expect a thorough check of your carryon items before your flight. Overall, I enjoyed flying on Turkish. It is a well run airline with good fares to Europe and a great in-flight experience. However, you should consider travel time, especially layovers and the amount of backtracking needed to get to your destination when deciding whether to book.

Our layover was long enough to be able to get to our next gate, and yet short enough to feel like we weren't wasting time. The flight was frankly luxurious compared to other long international flights. We flew to South America yearly for a while, and the economy experience on Turkish Airlines was like the Business Class experience on the unnamed airline to Montevideo. There were always two options for the meals. My wife was able to get gluten-free meals. The help staff was extremely friendly and helpful. It may well have been the best long flight experience in my life.

Had amazing experience flying from Seattle to Helsinki to my home country Latvia with Finnair…read more Finnair expanded their flights and I was happy to see that I can fly trough Helsinki instead of Frankfurt to my home country out of Seattle because layover was shorter and it's also only 1 hour flight from Helsinki to Riga. Finnair partner up with British airways business lounge and it was very decent food and drinks (compare what I had with Lufthansa last year few celery sticks and a cookie). The lounge wasn't so big and one can hear some rude people speaking loud on their phones but it had a nice view of the runway. Our flight was on time and I was settling in my Business class seat after short boarding process. They welcomed me with the drink ( I choose their signature blueberry juice and Northern Blush cocktail -must try) and they also provide amenity kit (which was disappointing) It didn't had toothbrush or any socks, also their cream had very bad smell and texture. I hope they will improve that. The wireless phone charger didn't work for me because my phone has a case and it was not picking it up. Pillow blanket and pad were provided, also I noticed that I didn't got any slippers because when I was leaving the plane I saw many people had same slippers. Food was very good on the way there. I had for an appetizer crab meat with mayo mousse, caprese salad and nice piece of salmon with veggies. For dessert I had raspberry tart with tea. And plenty of blueberry juice- thats my favorite! (Unfortunately food on the way back wasn't great. They ran out of their signature drink Northern Blush at Helsinki which is Finnair hub!!! Smocked salmon on the way back was too salty and too smocked. Weird food options like shrimp quiche for breakfast or pork dinner which is not so appealing even to person that doesn't have any dietary restrictions. Both breakfast and dinner were bad, breakfast looked poor and tasted poor and dinner I couldn't even eat. Also why to serve cauliflower as a side on a long haul flights). Important to note seat doesn't recline but it lay flat! So you can't adjust it for a recliner like on other planes. Also belt is like in a car. But it didn't bothered me because I could adjust leg part of the seat but not the back. Entertainment was good and they had a lot of good new movies available. I wasn't bored at all! I watch Missis Harris goes to Paris (what an amazing inspirational movie) and The unbearable weight of massive talent. Bed was cozy and I had 4 h nap and woke up to breakfast. Hour and a half before landing in Helsinki they served us Breakfast which was very generous. It had cheese & ham, croissant, bread muffin, fruits, omelette, yogurt and mini jam. I was full and ready to spend 6 h layover at Helsinki! (Originally was 1h40m but then they changed it) Enjoyed my flight and definetely will consider again. Hopefully they will keep their good pricing compare to Swiss and Lufthansa!

I was a bit skeptical at first as I had originally booked with British Air, only to find out that the flights were operated by Finnair. Thankfully, there was clear communication regarding flight details once booked. Onboard, the cabin crew were exceptionally friendly and attentive, ensuring all passengers were comfortable. The meals served were well proportioned for "airline food." You must try their signature blueberry juice! There was a slight delay departing Seattle, but I had no issues with my connecting flight in Helsinki. All of my other flights took off on time, and we arrived a few minutes early each time. The only drawback is with luggage. My particular ticket was for carry-on luggage only. Finnair has a max combined weight of 8kg (~17.5 lbs), which can be difficult to meet with most suitcases. I used a light-weight travel backpack and just barely made the cutoff. Overall, Finnair exceeded my expectations, and I highly recommend them for anyone traveling from Seattle, WA to Vilnius, Lithuania. I will be flying with Finnair again!
