Daybreaker Landscapes is a great company and Jeff Hausch is somebody that truly cares about you as…read morea person and goes above and beyond to make sure your needs are met. I HIGHLY recommend calling Daybreaker Landscapes for any landscaping needs.

I have several pictures to support my claims, if you'd like to see email me…read more Katiedidh07@gmail.com. May 15, 2019 I signed a contract with Daybreakers Landscspers to install two French drains and attach two down spouts and a sump pump to the French drains. I paid a total of $5457.52 on time and in full. Daybreakers did not start the job until the second week of July 2019. I told Jeff that I talked to an engineer from Elgin and he advised we would not need a permit. Well as it turns out we did need a permit and the job was stopped in the middle of work. And Yes Jeff I do blame you for that because you're doing the work and you should check with the city to make sure I'm correct. Per your worker he advised me that you have done this before when a customer said you didn't need a permit and the job was stopped for that job too. You should learn from your mistakes. The job finally got done but not the way the original plane was. Then the problems started. The sump pump drain was not draining and the water was coming right back up and back down next to my house. One of the down stouts was not set in the Drain properly and it was draining right back next to the house. Every pop up value was not level so every time I mowed I would cut them. One was so bad I was afraid my dogs might catch their foot and really get hurt, and Jeff said he couldn't fix so I asked him just to remove it. ( I waited august 9, 2020 to have it removed and finally my neighbor was nice enough to come over and take it our for me. The best part was in the spring when the snow melted. The pop up value in The front yard was so sunk inThe ground that it made a large pond in my front yard that was full of algae and stunk. I called Jeff and sent pictures of the problem on March 10, 2020. He said he would see what he could. He didn't come to my house until April 4,2020 and that was because I advised him that I called an attorney. He did admit that there were problems and that he would fix it all. Well June 17,2020 he finally came out and did fix a few things. He only did the things in the front yard and that was because I told him my neighbors all wanted to know what happened and I told them the work was done by Daybreakers landscapes. The sump pump now does not drain into the French drain and I have a PVC pipe out to the back yard the French drain is doing nothing ( at the most a $100.00 dollar job.) The PVC pipe was not covered with top soil so I was told that someone would be out to cover it. The last time I heard from Daybreakers was July 2,2020 they said someone would be out July 7 and haven't heard from them since of course they didn't say what year they were coming.
