The is review is strictly for the coffee shop. The place itself very much like "here, this is it" type vibes, like they did the bare minimum to create that spark to match the aviation atmosphere. It was like a Temu knockoff of Window Seat cafe if I'm being honest, sorry.

I've been to Aviation museums all over the country, I was very pleased to see that this was curated very well with endless stories and details about the planes the pilots and the wars. I particularly enjoyed the Southwest exhibit.

My fiance and I came here on a Saturday afternoon and had a wonderful time! Most of the volunteers at the museum are veterans and extremely knowledgeable. I highly recommend asking any of them a question, the answers you get are richer than any of the signage! One of them even let a family into one of the helicopters, just because they were friendly with him. There are impressive collections of model planes and even a model plane workshop that you can peek inside and see what's being worked on. The gift shop is kind of sad, and the woman working at the welcome desk could use a smile, but the museum overall is a wonderful place to visit. We will be back!

FOF Museum is... to put it quite simply, boring. It should be free of charge. My Dad is an absolute fanatic for WW2 planes and all of that stuff, and even he was disappointed. The place was spacious and mostly clean, don't get me wrong, but the selection of things to look at was underwhelming. You can't even go in the cockpit of any of the planes. The mold on the walls added to the general feeling of... get me out of here. Also, the smell! Must be the mold, idk. But it's mustyyyy. A few interesting things here and there, but a waste of time (in my opinion) and money.

I have been here during the day, but it doesn't compare to seeing and experiencing this museum at night. I attended a candlelight concert at the frontiers of flight museum and it was magical. Parking was plentiful, there was a bar and two different lines to purchase drinks.

This sign was at the doorway, not the driveway nor web. FoF needs 2 clearly communicate closings.

We got to the museum and it was closed for the day for an event. There was nothing on the website and no one answers the phone that could've told us this ahead of time we drove all the way from DFW. The hostess cared even less.

Great environment for a party! We had our Christmas party at the flight museum & they provided a great environment. I only wish the entire museum would have been open to explore during the event!

This is a great museum for anyone interested in aviation. The volunteers are friendly and helpful. There's also a Southwest Airlines exhibit.

    Overview

We stopped in on a quick visit to Dallas and were both surprised and impressed by this museum. My son, who is a bit of a military airplane fanatic, enjoyed it thoroughly. Many beautifully detailed models as well as quite a collection of historic aircraft.

We brought all the kids and the grandparents here for my son's 4th birthday and it was a smash hit! So many amazing planes and other aircraft to see, and an impressive collection of model planes. My kids were enchanted and so was I! And so was grandpa! Love that they have a playground for the kids that's plane themed, and it is wicked cool to be able to get into the southwest plane that's going through the side of the building -- very cool! The kids still play with the toy planes they got in the gift shop everyday!

Any aviation enthusiast- get to this museum. Ten bucks to get in!!! Multiple discounts too. I learned so much about the World Wars and the aircraft used. Plus life size replicas and real planes used in the wars are here. Two floors and an amazing Southwest Airlines exhibit with actual 737 airplanes to walk inside. There is also a kids play area, small gift shop and plenty of restrooms and water fountains. Parking is free too. It's also next to the runway at Love Field so if you love watching planes take off / you could spend hours looking out the windows on the second floor watching the runway. The section I lived was actually all about the balloons and blimps and the story of the Hindenburg. It's fascinating and there are relics from the crash to look at.

Great experience both with amazing people and an amazing museum. The staff was super helpful in guiding us around different features of the facility and had answers to all the questions we asked. The facility itself is quite large with 2 floors worth of exhibits. These were presented very well with lots of information to accompany each exhibit, including information about the time period if it was relevant. There are plenty of amazing photo taking opportunities as the museum is well lit with lots of space to position yourself for each picture. In addition to planes, there are also plenty of related items for you to learn more about teach time period. Overall, amazing museum and well worth making a special trip to visit.

Flight Museum Affordable ticket price-$10 Overall there is a lot of great and fun content to learn from. I really enjoyed seeing the airlines outfits throughout the years and the space section. I think the museum could use a little bit of updating. A lot of the simulators were shut down, probably due to COVID. Some of the TVs were not on with the content. You can rent the area out for a party, so if you are super into planes that could be a unique way to celebrate an event. The museum store was running a little low on merchandise. Overall, I had a good time but left wanting a little more from them. Total 3/5 stars.

Designed for kids aged 8 and under, this indoor children's museum offers a refreshing take on traditional play spaces. One of the highlights for us was the variety of activities available. Beyond the core pretend play town, there is a slime lab, a craft area, wooden blocks, and more. Having a birthday party here was wonderful.
