He scanned our ticket and we boarded. The bus was pretty full, so we ended up sitting separately. The above head storage bins are kind of tight, so I had to take something out of my over stuffed backpack to manage to wiggle it in. While my purse sat on my lap. I liked the foot rest and the hook on the handle on the seat in front of me. Trash bags were hung here and there. Looks like they also provided small bottles of water for us, though we had to grab those ourselves. The electric plugs didn't seem to work, but perhaps the ubs plugs in the ceiling did. Our driver was a great communicator. He set expectations so we knew that we had a 20 min rest stop before arriving at Baltimore, and pointed out things to help us to pay attention and to get back to the right bus. He warned us that given current construction that we were sure to arrive later than what our tickets said, and gave us his best eta given the circumstances. Another passenger later commented that the bus bathroom was clean. We kind of ended up being dropped off on a brightly painted bridge in the middle of no where - perhaps on Maryland Ave?, by a bus stop. A short walk from Penn Station.

LuggageToShip subcontracts actually carriage to FedEx. When my bag was being held by FedEx, I had to be the one personally calling FedEx to track it down. FedEx, of course, was complaining because technically LuggageToShip is the shipper, so they don't want to talk to me, but LuggageToShip wouldn't lift a finger to help. Customer service is non-existent. They only offer email contact, which is not helpful when you're overseas trying to get your vacation back on track. When I returned to the States, it took over 2 months for the bag to be returned to me. So I was without my possessions for 3 months, and didn't have them when I needed them on my trip. In order to get my bag, I had to pay an additional $250 to ship it home. LuggageToShip "Customer Service" refused to provide any escalation contact. (Try looking them up on the web to find a business address, or corporate officers- it's all carefully hidden) LuggageToShip also refused to provide me the information needed to dispute the charges directly with FedEx. So basically, if you want to spend $500 to lose your stuff, LuggageToShip is the perfect company for you.

I didn't get her name, unfortunately, but she made the reservation for us, explained how to find the property since it's somewhat hidden, and got us checked in quickly when we arrived. We stayed in a two-bedroom room, which worked out really well for our family. After a long day of traveling, having the extra space made it much easier for everyone to relax and get a good night's sleep. The property does show some signs of age, and we noticed that the second bedroom was missing the TV remote, but everything was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The staff member also let us know that free breakfast was offered, but we slept so well that we ended up missing it! Despite a few minor issues, we enjoyed our stay and really appreciated the friendly and helpful service.
