The day they finished the work they called to say it was finished, but no one was available at that time of day to get the car. I asked what time the next day they would be open so I could come over and get it. They couldn't give me a time, despite having posted hours on their door. Then they said "we really need cash." I asked if they could deliver the car, be in the car when my wife went to the bank in the car, get them the cash, and pay them. They said no. That delayed us a day and interfered with my wife's work schedule. OK, so trust in this company is out the window and they are not touching any of my current or future vehicles. If they had been up front about it they would have told me they wanted cash in the beginning. After driving the car I discovered it was making a sound like a card against a bicycle wheel, and later the wheel began squealing. I took it to another repair facility near work where I had many good reviews. They said the brake pad slides had no lubricant and there was a spring missing from the right rear caliper. It cost me another $200 to have the brake pads removed and the slides lubricated, reassembled, and the spring replaced. When I called T&R Customs about this they claimed no knowledge of missing lubricant and said the missing spring must be a faulty part, that they would never miss installing a part. They weren't even willing to listen about my experience dealing with them and hung up on me during the call.

The charges on the invoice are ridiculous, unnecessary and were not authorized by me. When I asked about these fees, one of the owners had the audacity to lie about the location of my vehicle at the time of the tow and lie about the weather conditions- to give reason for the winching and the wrapping of windows- which were never an issue as it was not raining and they had the key and could have rolled up the windows themselves. In addition, they threw in some stupid yard fee, an administrative fee, and a service time fee. But they gave me a break on a gate fee of $100.00. And their idea of helping me with the bill was asking me if I wanted to give them the title to my vehicle and pay the $200.00 This place is a f**kin' joke. They may get my money for now, but I'm sure to get it back in the very near future. They aren't taking my car either. Phill's is a small, nondescript shop, but don't let that fool you!…read more I needed a major repair after a tree crashed onto the top of my car. I first went to the shops recommended by my insurance company, but was NOT treated right by them. (They were highly patronizing, with a "don't-worry-just-leave-it-all-to-us" attitude that was extremely annoying. Plus, I just didn't feel a sense of trust...call it intuition.) Then I found Phill's. The owner, Ken, treated me with respect. He answered all of my questions, and even more, he provided me with information I didn't know about! He took the time to look over the insurance estimate, and found several mistakes. Thanks to him, the estimate was revised, and the amount the insurance company was willing to cover went up by $1500! I felt completely safe that I was being treated ethically and responsibly at Phill's. Now my car is back, and it looks brand-new! While I don't wish an accident on anybody, if you do have one, I cannot recommend Phill's more highly. Stay away from the fancy shops with the big names and go to Phill's instead. If my car ever gets smashed again, that's exactly who I'm taking it to.

I'm super-careful about who I trust with my car, so I asked around to find a shop doing high-quality work, with integrity & honesty, who I could trust to do a great job and handle all the annoyances that go with auto accidents, insurance, appraisers, etc. I was referred by people I trust to Rich Moscoffian at Landrics. Rich does a lot of high-end customizing work at his shop on luxury vehicles (he has some celebrity and pro athlete clients he works with on their vehicles), but he also performs work on "regular" cars like mine. My car's an older car (but with SUPER-low miles and in otherwise great shape), so I really care about how it's handled and by whom. The very next day, Rich sent a tow truck to pick up my car, and he spent the next week handling all the insurance aspects, getting the appraiser back out to him (the original appraisal didn't account for some of the damage), and communicated with me every step of the way. He even dealt with the rental company on my behalf to make sure that was taken care of. I got my car back quickly, and the work is FANTASTIC: repaired the metal & damaged parts, painted it perfectly, and made sure I was happy with every bit of work he performed. My car looks PERFECT: can't tell anything ever happened to it, and it hasn't looked this good in the 12 years I've owned it! Rich was a pleasure to work with every step of the way...if my vehicle ever needs work again (and I'm hoping it won't!), I'd call Rich Moscoffian in a SECOND. He does high-quality work, runs his shop professionally and capably, is honest as the day is long, and turned a potentially time-sucking, annoying hassle into an easy, trouble-free experience. I just got a film wrap on the front fender of my Indian Motorcycle to help protect from stones, etc…read moreafter I had it repainted for stone chip damage. Not many people want to tackle this kind of project. He got the area covered that most likely will get dinged. He had to make a template himself because I brought the whole bike in with trim pieces installed, including my Indian Head Fender light. So he had to work around it. This is a bit of a challenge vs. bringing just the fender but it looks good. For those of you that experience this same problem with stone chips, or even better, when you first get your new bike, bring it here and have him cover the top front half of your fender to possibly save yourself a repaint someday like I had to do. Recommended.
