The worst experience of my life. I bought my first bike, and the man in the finance department charged me an annual interest rate of 30%. Later, I took my motorcycle in for repairs; they installed an old, poorly refurbished fairing and replaced parts that didn't need replacing--solely to charge more against my insurance--and they never returned the original parts to me. In the end, I was left without my original parts and with defective ones installed in their place. Furthermore, the decal for the fairing was never applied. Some of the parts I selected were cheaper than the original ones, and they pocketed that price difference as well. read more

My poor daughter had her first bike buying experience with them. The salesman was fine, but look out for them changing the deal at last minute if you are financing. Avoid Jen (assistant finance officer), she isn't knowledgable enough at her job to be competent and along with that she is a "Karen" to the Nth degree. Would never recommend financing anything through them. Like I told my daughter; there is the salesperson villain to get by, and then there is the Boss (finance person) you need to defeat. Why I would STRONGLY suggest taking your business elsewhere. 1. I was threatened with physical violence by an employee in front of a manager. 2. My machine(s) was left outside uncovered without my knowledge or consent for 2 months. 3. The brakes where seized frozen when I went to drive it. (mind you there was a slip cover folded up ON the machine) 4. Although they had the machines for two months not all the work I requested was done. Luckily I got sick of waiting and picked up my stuff before it sat out in the weather any longer. 5. I called about every week to check in on the status of my machines. Not once did they call me with an update or call me back even when they said they would. I never leave bad reviews but I REALLY don't want anyone else to have to go through anything like this. read more

I got a flat on my bike on a brand new tire, went to Central Mass Powersports and they put a new tire on while I waited and it only took 1/2 hour for a back tire. I thought I would have to leave it at least for a day to two, but they told me to hang out and it was ready in 1/2 hour. All the people I dealt with in Service, workers and managers were awesome to deal with. I thought I paid a little too much, but with that quick service I didn't complain, i wanted my bike for the upcoming weekend! read more

Just a watch out, if anyone has motorcycle do not bring it to Masspower sports. These guys did a terrible job fixing my girlfriend bike. On a rebel 250 that ran great one day had trouble startin the next They picked up bike and and charged $500 for a rebuild carb kit. Not a problem. We went on vacation and come back and the bike had the same exact problem. So we call mass power sports and Aron the manager says he will only charge us another $400 to fix the problem that they didn't fix in the first place. Says we gummed up the carburetor!? We'll we didn't drive the bike ONE mile or put in any other gas so it had the gas they put in the bike. I drained gas and put in new high test just to see and same problem!? I wasn't looking for them to not charge anything to look at this again but if they need to charge another $400 then they don't have very good mechanics. I own several bikes and none have me this problem, never mind after a $500 carb rebuild. Aren say he stand by his work as he's looking to charge another $400? This place is a rip off, find someone who is reputable. I should have listened to what people told me to stay clear but I figured they couldn't screw up a Yamaha 250 carb issue. Lesson learned. On top of it Aron the manager called me a liar? He also said he has a business to run, we'll if thats how you treat customers your way of running a business is misguided. Buyers beware because they dont care! Anyone else have this experience or was I the only lucky one? -- at Central Mass Powersports. Carried my motorcycle tire in with a brand new one that needed to be mounted. 2 1/2 hours later, I called to see if it was ready, the blonde who sits in the middle of the door dropped my call twice. I was traveling down Rt 2A and noticed my bike didn't feel right when going around corners. I decided to pull over and as I did the rear tire blew out! Fortunately it happened as I was entering an empty parking lot and traveling only about 5 miles an hour. After getting over the shock of how much worse this could have been, I noticed Central Mass Powersports in the next parking lot. Not being from the area, I couldn't believe how lucky I was they were there. Then I started to think they won't have time to do an unscheduled repair and probably don't have my tire in stock (especially since my bike is a Harley-Davidson and this was a sport bike shop). I walked in and spoke to a very helpful guy seated at a desk to the far left of the front door. He directed me to the service department where I explained what happened. All I can say is Dave and Jimmy were really great! Dave said he can get my bike right in because of the situation but he had to verify that they had the tires I needed (I decided to have the front one replaced as well). When he came back, he told me they have both tires in stock and the bike would be ready in just two hours! He recommended the Simon-Pure restaurant to have lunch while I waited (it was great, btw). The motorcycle was ready in two hours, just as Dave said it would be. Perhaps the most surprising thing was that they could have inflated the cost of the new tires or labor since I was really in a jam, but that wasn't the case at all. The entire job was done very reasonably. Jimmy and Dave really came through for me and I am very grateful for their help. These guys are a real asset to Central Mass Powersports! The service department is not at all knowledgeable about any bike. They'll charge you a ton and take forever to do the simplest of jobs. You'll have better luck thumbing through a manual or watching YouTube yourself rather than paying a hack to do the same exact thing... A good selection of gear, helmets, oil, parts. Nice place, good parts and accessories counter, and they're open 7 days a week. Good prices on their bikes. Nothing to complain about, there. Amendment: We were in the neighborhood, and discovered these guys have moved to RT 2A, in Lunenburg, about a mile west of the Hannaford's. So much for the cool address. It's really too bad that others haven't shared the positive experiences I've had with CMP. I recently purchased my third bike from them and it was a breeze. Alan, Gary, and the rest of the team at CMP treated me and my wife like we were family. I was reluctant about making the transition to a cruiser so Alan organized a test ride for me (I wasn't even aware they did that) and that sealed the deal. The value of my trade-in was increased as well so my target monthly payment could be accommodated. I also received a phone call a day or two after buying the bike to make sure I was enjoying it and if I had any questions. It's these little extras that truly ensure a great customer experience. So I purchased a pre owned Ducati 1098 in May of 2015. Was a bit of a haggle, but got where I needed to be. The sales person was not very well informed about anything. I was told the bike had been detailed and was full of fuel. They delivered it to my house which was nice but was dirty and zero gas. I have a gas station less than a mile from my house and I ran out of gas half way to it. This is not acceptable I don't need a full tank but delivering me a bike I paid nearly 10 grand for on zero fuel is not good business practice. They seemed eager to take my money but service after the sale seems to be non existent. read more

Horrible customer service. I was shopping for a motorcycle for my husband. Entered the store with two kids in a double stroller, and waited 5 minutes at the "Sales" desk. There were about 7-8 employees all over the store. No other customers. No one came to help me. So I left, and no one tried to ask if I needed help as I made my way to the exit. Went straight to the Harley store, where the customer service was unbelievably great. However the bikes were a little more expensive than I was hoping for. So I called Central again and tried to process a financing application via phone with Christian. Christian was friendly and seemed helpful during our conversation, but never got back to me. He had me text him a picture of my license, now I fear my personal information is at risk! Just a poor experience overall. Needless to say I ended up buying a Harley at the Harley store in Leominster, amazing customer service every step of the way. Totally worth he extra money. read more

Ever walk into a place and ask yourself "why haven't I been here lately?" and then you remember? Well that happened to me again here today. I hate this place...they are the worst dealer I have ever dealt with. The sales staff is less than helpful and much less than knowledgeable. Their bikes are over priced, well over book price, not much sense of making an offer because one that is close to the actual book will not be accepted. I was in today, looked at a 2009 Concours, HIGH book value on it was 8100.00, Low book was 6100.00, they had it priced at 9000.00. I called out the fact that it was well over book and that I would make a offer close to book, i was then told that "we could sit down and write up the deal and if the numbers looked right to them we could make things work". Well I only wanted to buy the bike, I wasn't looking to play any games dickering back and forth, so I responded by telling them that if they would take my offer then I would buy the bike. I was told that i would need to fill out paperwork to make an offer. At this point I turned to leave as I was not going to waste my time with such nonsense. The manager at this point asked what I wanted to offer. I told him I would pay 8000.00, he said no because the bike still had to go to the shop and there were fees etc. I told him that at the end of the day the bike was worth not a penny more than 8100.00 and it would be silly for me to pay more than that. His response? He wasn't interested in that price. I don't know why he thinks it is reasonable to try to sell the bikes for a amount greater than book. Silly.....fool another buyer...... read more

do not bring your quads/dirtbikes to central mass power sports they lack professionalism and thier workers have no idea what they are doing!!!!!! my quad came back with no front plastics at all even the plastics that go around the gas tank are gone.they tried to tell me i brought it in like that when i know i didnt and i have picture proof from the day i had dropped it off on may 7th 2019!! the engine is in pieces and in a box, when i sent it in in one piece to be diagnosed. they never gave me any kind of diagnostics paperwork telling me whats wrong with it, they just stripped it down and left it in pieces.they never do return calls with customers even though they have my number in thier system!!thimbs down all around! they told me i was lucky that im getting my quad back because they were gunna keep it!! they would rather keep your 4wheeler compared to you getting it fixed properly so they can make more money when they keep it. i could only imagine what else they took off my bike ‍‍‍so be very careful if you go there to get something fixed worst experience in my life !!! so frustrated with how they treat customers and thier toys!!! unbelievable!!!!!!!!!! read more

Poor mangement/customer service, Rip off, dont waste your time! Go elsewhere. Charged me 400.00 for a starter for a 4 wheeler. Never picked it up like they said they would and it sat out in the rain all weekend. I had to bring it there. Poor communication amongst staff. A complete headache to deal with! They create their own hours. I went there on a Sunday to pick up my 4 wheeler and the sign on the door said "open on Sundays," yet they were closed. I do not recommend this place! I started my venture in trading in my 2009 Honda shadow just about a week ago. Sent in an inquiry to this dealership for a 2013 honda sabre 1300 because I needed to upgrade to a bigger bike. This dealership was AWESOME. I have multiple honda dealerships that are much closer to me then them but I drove all the way down because of how I was treated over the phone. It did not stop there. The woman I dealt with over the phone Nikki was awesome. She answered all my questions over the phone. Once arriving I was greated by her and she knew it was me without even knowing it was me. Best experience ever. I then met with Michael in the business office. And he was awesome also. He answered my questions and there was no pressure what so ever. Gary as well the general manager was a pleasure to work with. Thank you Nikki Michael and Gary for a job Well done.
