Excellent service department, great customer service people, good range of "for the bike" self install parts available too. I had a transmission rebuild and a 40,000 mile service done. Phil, Marlene and all of the staff are great here. My step father, husband and I all walked in and bought three bikes in one day! They gave us great advice, great prices, great discounts on additional purchases for a month and some great laughs. This isn't the biggest place with a millions bikes, but I would take this small local shop over any huge dealer anytime. They treat you like family right when you walk in whether you are buying or just looking. They want you to have the right bike at the right price and at the right time. The three of us bought 3 used bikes in great condition and not 2 months later my husband traded his in for a brand new bike and they gave him back exactly what he paid for the used one! The parts and repair staff is helpful and knowledgeable of all bikes. They will point you int he right direction if you want to add or replace anything on your bike. Clothing, boots, accessories of course anything with Harley name on it is pricey, but they have a great selection for both men and woman. I have tried other dealerships in the area and these folks are the best. The staff is friendly, knowledgable, and helpful. Unfortunately I bought my bike at another large area dealership. The bike was delivered incompletely prepped and I had to come back the next day to take delivery. Then I found out that the dealer misfiled the paperwork with the factory. I found American HD while trying to buy accessories. My original dealer had to order almost everything I was looking for. American HD had everything in stock. I never went back. American now gets all of my motorcycle $'s Service,parts and accessories. read more

The wife and I were travelling up from Georgia through Massachusetts and were on our way home when the oil light came on just outside of Boston. I pulled over to the side and saw a huge puddle of oil forming under my bike. I called several Harley dealers in the area and could not get any help, but another rider saw us on the side of the road and put us in touch with American Harley. Within an hour they had my bike on the trailer and were headed to the shop. The service guys were great and within about 3 hours of calling, they had installed a new oil pressure sensor switch, we were back on the road running great. With out the help of the guys at American Harley, I do not know what we would have done. Thanks for your great service team and the positive attitude of the entire team!!! Stopped in yesterday for the first time to grab some fowl weather riding essentials while I was away from home. The ladies in motor clothes helped me get exactly what I needed. Talked to the service manager for a bit just bsing very intelligent and personable guy. Gave great customer feed back on the 2017's as well from his clients! After shopping around for a new bike and not really being happy with a couple of the other dealers in the area, on a friends recommendation we ended up at American Harley Davidson and what a difference in how they treat their customers. He dealt with Marlene and I must say was so happy. She gave him a fair trade-in for his bike and although they didn't have the bike he wanted, located it and then gave him a price of $1000 under MSRP. He brought up a set of pipes he wanted to install, they did it no charge, he bought grab rails that they gave him 25% off and then installed those for nothing. After all that, she said we could each pick out any shirts we wanted for free!!!! Although it's a bit of a hike for us, all the employees we dealt with were so nice and we will be back. This place is the only place to buy your harley in MA. Small, family owned shop, non of the BS that comes with all the big black and orange stealerships. They don't have to pay all the overhead that comes with the big stores, so they're willing to deal. I've bought two bikes here, most recently a '17 Fatboy S. They don't play any of the typical dealership games and will give you a good and fair deal right from the start. No need to waste half a day negotiating. read more

I Bought a used 2012 road glide from American last week. The price was $200 less than a competitor's '09. They didn't hit for any additional bs fees. Which is very nice. After High Octane attempted to rip me off, I came here to buy my first bike. These people are the BEST! I cannot emphasize that enough and here's why. They work off of the MSRP price, not above. They try to give you the best deal they can and they make the process as easy as possible. This being my first bike, I had a lot to learn and every single person was so helpful, by the end of the process I practically felt like I was part of the family. I even took the store dog Rufus for a walk! I ended up with a great deal on a tricked out 2011 48 sportster. (THE KEY HERE IS I just paid for the bike and nothing else, no hidden fees, closing costs or gap)The previous owner put a lot of money into it, new grips, forward controls, foot pegs, vance and hines short shots, screaming eagle air cleaner with cover etc etc.)The only thing I wasn't crazy about was the seat. I asked the owner Phil if we could do a swap. I tried a few seats and none of them were doing the job so he order one for me. While I was walking around the set up on another bike peaked my interest, it was exactly what I was looking for. So I asked him if we could swap it out and what the cost would be. (Seat, passenger pad and sissy bar) He told me not to worry about it he wasn't going to charge me. (SCORE) They also gave me 20% off all Harley accessories, 10% off after market and let me pick out any shirt I wanted for free. I will never ever go anywhere else and neither will my boyfriend who also purchased a new bike. read more

Expect a discount on new accessories when you buy your new bike and you don't have to pay to be a member of a "MVP" club to get a discount. you get one automatically. I'm not even a big Harley Davidson fan. I ride sport bikes and buy from Revzilla. However, it was really cold this past week and the gloves I had were perforated causing my fingers to freeze. Found this place when I looked up motorcycle dealerships in the area to buy some cold weather gloves. The women with sales were extremely helpful and kind. They helped me pick out some gloves and even gave me a discount for it being their sale weekend for members!
