While there, a few vendors were selling doggie treats and items. For every dollar they received, a portion of the profits will be contributed to Puppy Up. So, my wife and I visited every vendor there to support the cause. Peace-Love-Pops was one of the vendors we stopped by to try their ice pops. It was a small cart which sells 100% organic ice pops of various flavors. Some of the flavors were: Banana Cream Pie Mixed Berry Rose Nectarine Plum Pineapple orange Banana Mango Melon Mint Pooch Pops Joshua the owner told me that his two bestselling ice pops were the banana cream pie and pineapple orange banana. So, I had the Banana Cream Pie ice pop while my wife had the Pineapple Orange Banana pop. These ice pops were so GOOD they melt in your mouth. As they melted, you are able to taste the chunks of banana or pineapple. It was MIND BLOWING!!!!! The exciting part is when Joshua mentioned ALCOHOL pops. Yes people, he also creates organic alcohol pops. How EXCITING!!!!! These pops are $3 a pop and well worth it. It was great meeting Joshua and I hope to see you in JC very soon.

Even with my pockets fighting for every last breath, I spent $14 here and wasn't even mad. I FULLY LOADED my bowl with 3 flavors of yogurt: vanilla, cookies and cream, and birthday cake. Upon putting the birthday cake on, it was a deep artificial yellow which was a major cause for concern. However, upon trying it, I had to eat my words. It was delightful. One of my best personality traits is to admit when I'm wrong. I'm sorry for judging you based off your artificial coloring, birthday cake flavor. They have an abundance of toppings, honestly any kind of topping you could ever wane for. I decided to go with crushed vanilla wafers, oreos, and one gummy worm on top for purely aesthetic purposes. I am an artist. The crushed vanilla wafers were the MVP of the bowl, tying the whole thing together making it ELITE. It made me oddly reminiscent of how Steve Nash tied those Phoenix Suns teams in the mid-2000s. People love to forget about Steve Nash smh. Don't worry Steve, I won't let them forget. I DEMOLISHED this bowl like Sheldon Brown DEMOLISHED Reggie Bush on that swing pass back in 07. Drew Brees lowkey set Reggie up tho smh. This is EASILY my favorite frozen yogurt place in the city, but granted I haven't tried THAT many. One star off cuz it's kind of dirty in there and as others have mentioned, the price is pretty steep lmao. IG @jnov_ Tiktok @jnov__

Frozen Yogurt is my Achilles Heel!! It's bad that I live so close to this 16 Handles location, but…read moreI hope they stay forever! I love that you can start with a low calorie base - I usually go with whatever "No Sugar Added" option they have, which has often been the Cheesecake flavor. If that's not available the Mint Choco Chip is typically the next lowest. These have basically half the calories or less per serving than the regular options but the texture, taste and sweetness is basically the same. There's a method to my madness however, because now I absolutely LOAD it up on toppings. I'm talking cramming the large cup until its overflowing and ends up weighing a kilo. These are my favorites that give a perfect combination of freshness, texture and indulgence: - Strawberries / Bluberries - Crushed Oreos - Peanut Butter Cups - Brownie or Cheesecake Chunks - Granola - Crushed Graham Cracker Dust Then I absolutely DROWN the froyo with their NUTELLA on tap and finish with the PEANUT BUTTER DRIZZLE I can easily create a $20 FroYo cup here but its so dang delicious and decadent I keep coming back for more. I ate TWO LARGE CUPS back to back in my last visit (see photo of my masterpiece) PRO TIP: Put a layer of Nutella and Reeses Pieces on the bottom of your empty cup before you choose your froyo - Thank me later! The staff is super friendly. They are diligently cleaning up after customers and don't fret when people are dropping things everywhere. TRY TO BE RESPECTFUL and be careful putting on toppings, they can fall off easily. It's a small location, but totally hits the spot if you like frozen yogurt and they're open LATE!

I stumbled upon Dr. Fruit in Paterson when I was craving something sweet. They have anything and everything to satisfy your cravings. It's also conveniently open until midnight every day. Crepes, waffles, milkshakes, boba, ice cream, dessert cups, mojitos, chocolate dipped fruit... need I say more? Most of them are made with decadent candies, fruits, nuts, cookies, cakes, and syrups. I was surprised to see that they offer healthier options like smoothies, protein shakes, fruit cups, and acai bowls... but are you really here for that? LOL... well, I am not!!! I ordered the Oreo Crepe ($10.50) which included Belgian chocolate, white chocolate, and Oreo cookie crumbles. I had to wait awhile because there was only one employee working. I felt bad for the poor guy because he was really backed up with everyone's orders. It was about a 20-40 minute wait. My dessert was beautifully presented on a wooden board! The chocolate was rich and creamy. However, I think the crepe may have been overcooked. It was a bit dry and tough to cut through. I prefer mine soft with a chewier texture. I've had better crepes, but this hit the spot enough to satisfy my sweet tooth. The interior looks just as good as the desserts. It's very girly and pink. Pink walls, pink seats with white/gold accents, floral arrangements, balloons, giant teddy bears... the whole place is a photo op. The only thing that would steer me away from coming back more often is the parking situation. It's difficult to find a spot in this area of Paterson. Get your chocolate on!!!

I knew I wanted ice cream, but I didn't know what flavor yet and she described the flavor so well to us. I ended up getting a milkshake mixed with honeycomb and brown sugar chocolate brownie. It was freaking delightful, I was a little afraid. It was gonna be too sweet, but it was the perfect amount of sweet. We found out that honeycomb is the most popular flavor and that one of the owners is from Australia and that's why they had it on the menu. My boyfriend ended up mixing mango sticky rice and strawberry, which for the flavor profile was also perfect. Mango sticky rice was once a seasonal flavor, but it became so popular that it was just added to stay on permanently (that's what the server told us). 10/10.
