The color pink makes me happy. Chocolate makes me happy. Eating chocolate in a pink-themed dessert bar makes me the happiest. I stumbled upon Dr. Fruit in Paterson when I was craving something sweet. They have anything and everything to satisfy your cravings. It's also conveniently open until midnight every day. Crepes, waffles, milkshakes, boba, ice cream, dessert cups, mojitos, chocolate dipped fruit... need I say more? Most of them are made with decadent candies, fruits, nuts, cookies, cakes, and syrups. I was surprised to see that they offer healthier options like smoothies, protein shakes, fruit cups, and acai bowls... but are you really here for that? LOL... well, I am not!!! I ordered the Oreo Crepe ($10.50) which included Belgian chocolate, white chocolate, and Oreo cookie crumbles. I had to wait awhile because there was only one employee working. I felt bad for the poor guy because he was really backed up with everyone's orders. It was about a 20-40 minute wait. My dessert was beautifully presented on a wooden board! The chocolate was rich and creamy. However, I think the crepe may have been overcooked. It was a bit dry and tough to cut through. I prefer mine soft with a chewier texture. I've had better crepes, but this hit the spot enough to satisfy my sweet tooth. The interior looks just as good as the desserts. It's very girly and pink. Pink walls, pink seats with white/gold accents, floral arrangements, balloons, giant teddy bears... the whole place is a photo op. The only thing that would steer me away from coming back more often is the parking situation. It's difficult to find a spot in this area of Paterson. Get your chocolate on!!!

I love sweets and couldn't wait to try this spot. When I arrived I parked pm the street nearby. I walked into a really cute sweet shop! I ordered: - super hero protein shake - Brownie waffle - lotus crepe - Oreo cup - dipped waffle stick - Dubai Chocolate I really loved the brownie waffle and the oreo cup the most! It was a really good experience all in all!

Dr. Fruit is such a breath of fresh air, in the hectic city of Paterson. Their ambiance is absolutely amazing; it's so cute, fun, and girly... and it is even fun for kids. Almost all their desserts consist of tons of chocolate (white and milk chocolate). I tried their waffles, crepes, ice cream, and shakes. All are good and so flavorful. I do recommend staying away from their brownies and /or chocolate lava cake. It's not great. But the food comes out pretty fast, and you can smell it being prepared. On top of that, most days, it is empty and cool inside. So you get to enjoy the swings, board games, and stuffed animals. Parking is a hassle, so once you get past that hurdle, Dr. Fruit is tons of fun. We usually go when it's not busy (Friday afternoon, weekdays, etc), and it's always empty, and we find decent parking. Check this place out. You won't be disappointed

This is my second time visiting the first time was very good and fast service, I did request for extra chocolate the first time but did not trip cause I was not charged for extra. there was one employee there and he was able to get to my order timely. Today I returned with my mom to let her try it we ended up waiting for 30 mins for our order, there was people coming in and standing at the counter and behind the counter talk with the employee. I this time made sure to ask for extra chocolate with is the picture with literally no chocolate! I had to ask for more and the person that was standing at the front of the counter; who is now behind the counter told me the extra chocolate was not Charged when I was charged extra on the receipt. My portions for the fettuccine crepes and strawberry were behind different than what I had. This was a terrible return and I will not be back in this economy I will be creating all these things at home.

Very cute spot to grab some chocolately creations! I visited with my friend on a week day because I saw this spot online. It was completely empty when I visited which was expected for the day we came. The place was covered in pink and gold and flowers! So cute and also clean. There was a lot of seating. It's a big space and I notice they hold events there too. Me and my friend ordered the fruit salad and mini-pancakes. It was made pretty quickly and brought to us. It gave us enough time to take lots of cute pictured on the swings and in front of the flower wall. The fruit salad tasted fresh and I love chocolate so it had just enough. I got to choose what kind of chocolate bar I wanted and went with the kit-kat. My friend liked her mini-pancakes. It was drenched in chocolate but the place is described as a chocolate bar! You can always ask for a little bit. The only thing I would say is that they could have served it in something better beside styrofoam. With how cute the place is I think custom bowls/cups with their logo would level it up. I was surprised by all the options they have, like milkshakes, crepes, açaí bowls, and chocolate sushi! I will definitely visit for more.

Cute dessert place in Paterson! Reminds me of chocolate dip in nyc. The place itself is spacious and has a pink, floral aesthetic (with teddy bears everywhere too). Definitely a nice after dinner spot, and they're open late! The quality of the chocolate was really good, I would definitely come back here next time I'm in the area.

Amazing experience at this place the waffles, crepes, and drinks were delicious and full of flavor, and the service was excellent quick and clean ,The place itself is always cute and elegant, with its pink and cozy vibe making it perfect for families I absolutely love this place, and it has become my favorite big thanks for the young man who is always there even though he's super busy, he never ignores customers. On the contrary, he makes time for everyone with great hospitality. Definitely coming back!

I heard about this place and when I was in the area I had to make a stop and try their yummy desserts! I liked the Ashta ice cream and the crepes. The dr.fruits fruit salad was good but had way too much fruit chunks -in my opinion- that I wasn't enjoying the ice cream but for someone who loves "healthier" dessert options, this is the one for you!

This place is the best place in Patterson for some nice desserts. The menu has so many delicious desserts to choose from crepes, waffles, chocolate covered fruit, fruit bowls, milkshakes and more! The interior is decorated beautifully and a great spot for your pictures! There is also two swings which both kids and adults love! Amazing staff and excellent desserts that satisfy your sweet cravings.

Definitely worth the drive from Jersey City. I would come back in a heart beat. We ordered for take out but it looked so good that we decided to try some of what we ordered and they were amazing! The Lotus waffle is to die for. They were out of the lotus crumbs but it was still so delicious. Took home some strawberry crepes and mini pancakes too. The service was incredible as well. The young man was very friendly and gave us recommendation since it was our first time there. He even gave us a sample of the mini pancakes and we ended up ordering them. The place was clean and has a chill vibe. So happy we came to this place!

This place is the best place in Patterson for some nice desserts. Love this spot a lot, cute decoration, teady, lovely service. The menu has so many delicious desserts to choose from crepes, waffles, chocolate covered fruit, fruit bowls, milkshakes and more!...

I love this place! I travel 4 hours to New Jersey to have a taste from their sweets, it's all just delicious. I hope they would grow their business even more and be able to have such store in my city. Also this place is clean, when you first walk in, you'll smell the scent of chlorine and refreshments, plus Obviously the scent of their delicious sweets. This place serves with kindness, I've came to dr.fruit many time and they never seem to disappoint always on point and delicious. I of course recommend the classic crepes with strawberries and louts.

The place is really nice. Staff is friendly and helpful. The waffles and crepes on the other hand are drenched in chocolate. Parking is a major issue due to location.

Since Yemeni coffee and tea options aren't common for everyone, they take the time to explain the menu and answer questions, which I really appreciated. However, the Adeni Chai was the only saving grace of the visit. It was flavorful and well made, but the coffee was a massive disappointment. I tried the Jubani after the staff described it as a delicious light-roasted coffee packed with caffeine, but in reality, it tasted like bland cardamom water with absolutely no coffee flavor or body. It felt like I was just drinking hot spiced water. The atmosphere was also a major issue as there was no seating available whatsoever. The crowd was mostly of Middle Eastern descent and many were incredibly rude; people will bump right into you and not say a word. Even worse was the way some customers spoke to the workers, it was absolutely deplorable. Honestly, who raised you? It was uncomfortable to witness. The dessert selection was even worse. Most of what we ordered felt stale and old. The only thing worth eating was the bubble dessert with cheese because they actually toast it. We tried both the pistachio milk cake and the pistachio dream cake, and neither was impressive. The khattafi in the pistachio dream was the biggest letdown; it was so stale and bland I can't believe they actually put it out to sell when it was clearly weeks if not months old. The basboosa was also a disappointment, as it was a very small square of semolina cake for almost $5. Overall, It is not a good place for coffee or desserts, so if you do go, stick strictly to the Adeni chai.

They also have beautiful garden seating. I ordered Turkish coffee, fresh grapefruit juice, Gurmanski dorucak, mini burek with spinach and cheese, and fruit cake. I love Turkish coffee and this was very good. The juice was tart and delicious. The breakfast platter was a showstopper. Two fried eggs, tomato, feta, two meat patties, and homemade bread. The flavors of the meat blew my mind. Who knew that Croatians make the most delicious burgers. This is a hearty and fantastic dish. Also, the burek was flaky and light and not very mini. I took home the cake and enjoyed it later. Light, delicate and not overly sweet, this was a star. Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, you should stop in for any meal. Seating is first-come, first-served, and guests are placed based on availability, which keeps things fair and efficient even during busy times. The tables for two are intimate and cozy, perfect for conversation, though they can become a bit tight when ordering several dishes at once. That said, the staff was attentive and checked in often enough to clear plates and make room, which made the experience much more comfortable. The dessert menu is separate, allowing guests to enjoy their meal at an unhurried pace before deciding on something sweet. Their beverage offerings are thoughtfully presented. Herbal tea options include green tea, chamomile, and English tea (Stash), and the tea is served in a container that provides two full servings. The cappuccino is well made and served with a sugar crystal stick, adding a distinct old-world charm that enhances the café's European feel. I regret not asking for an additional order of Turkish coffee so that's a regret . What we ordered: * Greek Salad - $18.50 * Cappuccino - $6.80 * Herbal Tea - $6.00 * Uštipci - $17.25 * Musaka - $22.95 * Šnicla (Cutlet Sandwich) - $20.75 * 2 Diet Cokes - $8.00 The musaka is a baked dish and does take about 25 minutes to prepare, as it's made fresh with baked eggs, seasoned beef, and sliced potatoes layered on top. The wait is well worth it, resulting in a hearty, comforting dish that tastes authentically homemade. The Šnicla (cutlet sandwich) arrived beautifully presented on a wooden board, adding a rustic, elevated touch that matched the restaurant's aesthetic. Mom felt it lacked in seasoning but she Didnt leave any crumbs . The Uštipci were a standout--served with feta and honey, generously portioned, and so plentiful that we happily took some home. We were too full for dessert this time, but it's absolutely on the list for a return visit. Due to winter weather, we couldn't explore the back of the restaurant, but even from the main dining area, the decor is undeniably charming and full of character. Overall, Cafe Bubamara offers authentic flavors, generous portions, attentive service, and a cozy, old-world atmosphere that makes it a place worth revisiting.

He had tried it at a friend's mosque and he says he's been chasing that high ever since. We figured we'd try to get some at Mokafe. It wasn't too difficult to find street parking, but the cafe was surprisingly busy for a late Sunday night. We placed our order for Adeni Shai, Dubai Knafa Brownie, and a Lotus Biscoff croissant. Everything was delicious. I have never had Yemeni tea before so I didn't have a bar to measure it against. I really enjoyed the tea though my friend said it wasn't exactly what he was looking for. I feel like it could've done with more spices but it still tasted very good. The Dubai Knafa Brownie was excellent. The brownie by itself was nice and moist with the perfect texture for a brownie. The Knafa set it over the top with the crunch and pistachio flavor. I'd definitely get this again. The Lotus Biscoff Croissant was good, but I liked the brownie more. It was about an average croissant but the Biscoff spread added some nice flavor to it. I think it could've used more though. It was buttery and flaky; pillars a of what a croissant should be.
