Corey has stood me up for the last time yesterday after months of excuses and reasons that he couldn't complete the work. He asked for 30% upfront for materials still, those materials are not purchased nor are they at my property. A lot of of the work that he did do was shotty at best and had to be redone. He left a huge pile of debris of old cabinets and materials including the hot water heater outside of my rental property for over four months! I ended up cleaning it up myself after receiving complaints. He repeatedly assured me that he would be there to complete the work. I even offered to remove items off of the project in order to get the work wrapped up and only do what was necessary. He kept making promises to come out and complete the work, but would never come out. Often times if I was not at the location, he would not be there either and would leave shortly after I left. I would follow up with him weekly and almost daily at times in order to get this work complete to only be ghosted by him. I feel cheated by Corey. I went weeks without hearing from him. He usually takes approximately 5 to 7 days to reply back to text or phone calls. I should've have paid attention to the red flags better when a contractor shows up to your property driving a Prius.
