Bella Lou resting from her surgery!!

Absolutely amazing organization!! They saved my dogs life!!! I have got to mention Andy, by name, and express my sincere gratitude to him specifically!!! If it were not for the CARE and sense of URGENCY... my 15 year old chihuahua probably would not have made it another 24 hours in the condition she was in. I've already signed up to volunteer at FROSTED FACES and I'm looking forward to expressing my most sincere gratitude by helping other dogs in need. IF I COULD LEAVE 10 STARS....... I WOULD!!!! THANK YOU ANDY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AND FROSTED FACES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    CeCe the sweetest soul

My neighbors passed and I found myself taking care of their dog CeCe for almost 3 years in their home while the lengthy estate battle ensued. I really grew attached to CeCe but was at my limit of dogs. I walked CeCe more than my dogs as she was alone in an empty house. Having no luck placing her in a new home, I was just about to give up when I found Frosted Faces. I paid the fee that entitled her to life long medical care and boarding hoping she finds a new home. Everyone loved her but it seems she just keeps dropping weight after several flings. I was told by her owners that she does not get along with dogs and such, but she is just the sweetest soul. Hats off to Frosted Faces and I would highly recommend them. I was impressed at the amount of people coming out to adopt older forgotten dogs.

My dog needed emergency surgery, a skin graft, and radiation. I applied for financial help but was told to shop around for a better deal.

My dog had a growth the size of a baseball which opened up and needed emergency surgery. I didn't have the money so i applied for financial assistance: i completed the form and attached the estimate. I got an email back saying I needed to "shop around" for a better deal. Long story short I had to put my dog down. Never again will I volunteer to help them walk their dogs with this fake organization.

The day of adoption comes to take our baby home and the vibe was nasty. We were met with another worker we never met and her attitude came across as judgey, dismissive, and overall just wanted to get it over with. Our dog was spayed that weekend we got her, and no pain medicine was provided for her. FYI they take the dogs to get spayed in Mexico where it cost a nickel and two dimes, and then turn around and hit you with a fat fee of $600 for the adoption, spay, microchip, and other stuff. We asked questions about the dogs health and mentioned that the other worker told us she has mild dental issues (not a problem at all) we just wanted to get maybe more insight on that. No completely dismissive and straight up lied to our face about our dog having any dental problems and claiming she's completely fine. Come to find in the paper work they provide you, it says she has dental disease. Following that my partner has never owned a pet before so they were just asking basic questions about what to know. She had a rude attitude for every reply and the energy was very off putting for a first dog adoption expirence. Following taking our dog home we find out she's extremely reactive towards other dogs, (totally fine) we email TBL about her reactivity just to see if she had any issues with other dogs when she was at the shelter. No response. that clearly paints the picture that they don't care about you or your dog. They have a long lengthy contract to sign that will completely cover their ass but would screw you over if anything happens. Very shady, we are staying away for our second dog.

You can tell by how the puppies/dogs respond around her. She is a very honest, sweet, informative doggy foster mom. She provided information from toys, food & extensive doggy tips. She is always responsive by phone and text. Even when I text her late at night, she is always responding! Before the actual adopting day, she would send you pictures of your puppy to keep you updated. Truthfully, she and how Art and paw animal rescue is ran, should be an example of how all the animal rescues should be. I adopted my puppy from a group of 9 puppies and she knew everything about each and every single one of them. One thing I appreciate about her is, she doesn't get motivated by money but rather she truly cares for the dogs and want them to find the perfect home. She really takes the time to find the perfect home for each dog! You will not regret adopting! Also her company is ran from donations so please head onto the website and donate (: Thank you Liraz for the amazing experience.

On last Saturday, we went to Petsmart to get some dog food and cat food. My wife found this lovely dog that she would not leave without her. Art and Paws Animal Rescue went through all the questions about our living environment to make sure the dog was going to a right place, made sure that we were committed, not compulsive and showed us the papers with medical history and everything. Lulu is so happy being with other brothers and a sister and fit right in without hesitation. There are some dog rescues that only concentrate on making dogs adopted but Art and Paws Rescue really care for the dogs and we felt the right thing as dog owners. I already sent them thank you email plus lots of pictures ans will follow up with them continuously. Great job "Art & Paws Animal Rescue" and thank you for letting us having Lulu.

His owner became ill, and If She couldn't find someone to take Him, I was told,She would have had to put Him to sleep. I Immediately stepped in. We were Homeless together for 2 1/2 years, and with the help of the VA, and VASH, ( I am an Honorably Discharged Veteran of the United States Navy), I was Approved for Section 8 Housing. After being on the bottom of a waiting list (for an Apartment) CODY and I soon got Our own place! He has been with Me as My Family, My Companion, One of My Loves, and most importantly, My Sobriety Cat. "My HERO"! We have been through a lot together. He has kept Me Strong during difficult times, (We all know how Life can be)! Around the beginning of the Year, 2026, I took CODY in for a check-up. I found Out He had "Kidney Disease". I was devastated. I didn't know what little time We had left together. His last weekend with Me, He wasn't eating and Very weak. I contacted Humane Society in Escondido, cause I live in North County. I made an Appointment to bring Him in. It was Sunday March 15, 2026. When I arrived, the Staff were very Courteous, Compassionate and really showed their Love for My CODY, like I have. They allowed Me to spend as much time as needed. I asked them if they can give Him some water, because He seemed to be trying to swallow. They said of course, and They would give Him "Whipped Cream"! When I left Him that afternoon, CODY looked so Peaceful! I Truly felt I had made the right decision! My Sincere Appreciation for CODY and San Diego Humane Society (Escondido Branch)! btw I am still maintaining Sobriety! NMRK

This woman has a huge heart for animals and she really truly gives of herself fully to each animal. Her farm has a lot going on - dogs, goats, chickens, oh my! - so of course she has a lot on her mind. Lots of "furry friends" - I can't imagine how she can balance it all with a smile! After I visited, I learned that friends of mine adopted from her over a year ago. Their dog is happy and healthy, although a little bigger than expected - but it's always tough to estimate size pups will grow into without knowing their momma's size! Ultimately, I did not end up adopting from Deborah because my heart was captured by a pup at another rescue. BUT based on my experience with Deborah's deep knowledge of how to adopt and care for new puppies, her love of animals, and her general flexibility and kind-heartedness, I highly recommend working with her! I know I can call her if I need anything, and that's huge! I absolutely plan on taking my new pup over to her farm to socialize my pup and get good advice from Deborah. If you find a four-legged friend you're interested in, don't hesitate to work with Deborah and Furry Friends Rescue!
