Went on Friday with my family. Me and my kids got sick off of the soft serve. My husband had the Italian ice, he was ok. Never again.

It tasted very fresh very creamy. Specifically the mint one was into minty. It was just the right amount of mint and the chocolate one wasn't too sweet. The cherries actually provided a nice darkness that balanced out the chocolate. The chocolate itself had a decent amount of sweetness, but it wasn't overpowering so I felt like that was a nice balance. It definitely felt like a homemade fresh sort of ice cream and the cool part is at this place that the flavors end up changing I think every week so they have new flavors that they come out with so it's always a new experience. The only reason why he gave it four choices instead of five stars again because they don't provide that tasting service so that's just one thing that I thought that was kind of a miss.

I shared the banana split with my mom and I remember the price being very fair. There was just ALOT of options to choose from and I was disappointed that you couldn't taste test any of the flavors, like that should be a basic thing in all ice cream shops.

Gelato Di Babbo - Lemon cookie was a huge hit at our dinner party!

First off, I want to highlight the excellent customer service. The staff greeted me warmly as soon…read moreas I walked in, which was a pleasant surprise. The young man who helped me was knowledgeable and took the time to explain all the available flavors. I decided to try the lemon cookie gelato and also brought home a pint of the caramel sea salt. While the gelatos are undeniably rich and creamy, I found that the flavors didn't quite meet my expectations. For the lemon cookie gelato, the lemon flavor primarily came from the cookies themselves that were sprinkled on top,and I felt there could have been more lemon zest incorporated for added freshness. As for the caramel sea salt, I didn't get the expected caramel taste, and the hint of saltiness that typically enhances salty caramel was also missing. Overall, I appreciate the effort, but I believe there's room for improvement in achieving the flavor profiles they promote.

I follow her on facebook and saw her announce a special Easter flavor: peanut butter cremino. I was already drawn in with how rich the pb gelato looked in the photos, but her description sealed the deal. The dark chocolate ganache is imported from Italy. I served the pb cremino and lemon cookie for Easter dinner dessert and everyone enjoyed them both. Half of my guests preferred the lemon and the other half chose the peanut butter. My 2-year-old was obsessed with the pb and had three servings! The pb gelato was incredibly rich and had a strong, delicious peanut flavor. The Italian ganache on top turned into a decadent fudge consistency after we set it out for about an hour before serving. The lemon cookie left no doubt that it was made with fresh REAL lemon juice. It was bright and sweet and perfectly balanced. I cannot wait to come try more flavors when the shop is officially open for the season. Kim was hard at work in the shop, but was gracious and set up times to come pick up orders. She was very friendly and has an obvious passion (and talent) for gelato. My husband agreed the flavor was better and the consistency more pleasing than what we had in Italy.
