I also tried the original flavor, which turned out to be my favorite because it held up much better. This is the best fro yo in the Boston area and the closest we've come to the California experience. They have 10 or 12 flavors of yogurt, all good. My favorite is the salted caramel. They have a fresh and well maintained selection of do it yourself toppings and mix-ins including great mochi, fresh fruits, and peanut butter crispies and syrups.The owner and employees are constantly cleaning and monitoring the topping bar and yogurt machines. Small fro-yo shop, just off Mass ave in Lexington center. I've been here several times and I find it to be fairly similar to most of the other Froyo shops around. Sometimes their flavors are great other times not so much, again like most of the other froyo places around. It's smaller than orangeleaf around the corner on Mass Ave, but often times less busy, which in my mind is a good thing. If you're looking for a quiet fro yo place without a line, this might be the place for you. read more

This place is great, especially because they have new flavors all the time like banana, taro, green tea, and other Asian flavors!

I loved their selection of mostly fruity flavors (with the occasional chocolate and caramel thrown in). The store was very clean and even though it was somewhat crowded it didn't feel chaotic like the other frozen yogurt stores I've tried recently. It's similar to all the froyo places- fill up with as much yogurt as you like, top it off with an expansive toppings bar ranging from fruit to boba to crushed almonds and then weigh it at the counter. The key is to not overload or you'll be spending a fortune. My friend and I have devised the perfect cup: 1 squirt of 3 or 4 flavors and just 2 or 3 toppings. We ended up paying $4.32 which was more than decent for what we came away with. If I return to any froyo stores, I think I'll make a special effort to stop in at Fruitee. I truly enjoy this small yogurt shop. It's tucked away near the bike trail, but it is definitely a gem in Lexington Center. They're always switching up new flavors. There fruits and toppings are always fresh. You can try as many flavors for a sample as you like. They also have a small rewards program. Each time you buy a yogurt you get a stamp. On your 6th stamp (I think) you get 6oz free. I enjoy supporting small businesses and they always seem happy and helpful when I'm there. read more

Recently, all of the nearby frozen yogurt places closed down besides this one. A few years ago, we had a bad experience here. Today we came back to try it once more. It was clean, the service was friendly, and they had a nice selection of toppings. However, the yogurt flavors were an odd variety that didn't mix well together. The consistency of the frozen yogurt was improved from our bad experience, where it was too icy, but the flavors weren't much better. Sad. Wish we could've enjoyed it more, as there are not many froyo places left nearby. read more

If I had to choose, Fruitee or Orange Leaf, I would choose Fruitee! I love the variety of toppings, and there is so many fruit and healthy options, you don't feel so bad about splurging! Man, I guess all of these 4 and 5 stars reviews has never gotten any fro-yo before. This place here......no thank you! I had this instantaneous craving for fro-yo, actually the fro-yo from the next town over, but out of desperation and simply because I was going to past by it anyways, my kids, husband, and myself decided to fill the void and go inside....I mean, who can mess up this?........THEY CAN...FRUITEE YOGURT CAN!!...and they did! I am supposed to be on a slight diet, due to me possibly doing a show next month, this was my cheat!! If you know how it feels to love sweets and not be able to consume it all willy nilly, then you know where I'm coming from...I didn't even want a lot, just a taste to stop the craving. So I got the cup, got the swirl, only let it wrap around twice and covered it with the Oreo crumbles. My daughter also got the swirl, gummy bears, sprinkles, and strawberries, my son got chocolate, m&ms, and sprinkles(?). My husband asked for the salted caramel sample and something else...the trickerization! Then, we go to pay for it.....$16...it better be some tiny pieces of gold inside of it!....Run to the truck to consume my deliciousness. Crap tasted like Robitussin!! The heck?! Wait....then it barely had chocolate! Man, I'm mad....I mean fat kid loves cake, mad. Whenever I go to Lexington, I won't even bother to look this place's way! My kids didn't even eat theirs. I disagree with the less enthusiastic reviews. My family and I went to Fruitee last weekend and found it to be the best frozen yogurt in the area. I've been to Fruitee Yogurt quite a few times since they opened. Each time, I've been greeted by a friendly server. If you want to taste any flavor of frozen yogurt, all you have to do is ask. I found most of the favors to be tasty, the consistency to be creamy. It really tastes like yogurt, not like ice cream. I haven't tried the sorbets, but my son says they're good as well. I've had better "original" frozen yogurt at other shops, but their blood orange frozen yogurt is exceptional; tangy, with a very strong orange flavor. Mixed with "cheesecake", it tastes like a creamsicle. The chocolate is rich and creamy. Mix that with peanut, and you have something akin to a Reese's PB Cup. The toppings are interesting and fresh. I like that you pay for whatever amount you choose to buy. The frozen yogurt is weighed at the counter before you pay. Whether you choose to have more yogurt or more toppings, you still pay by weight. That seems fair to me. read more
