NY cheesecake
Jason C.

My favorite healthy vegan restaurant in Martin County. Food is very healthy and delicious: they update the menu specials and I always look forward to what they have. Great outdoor seating where I bring my dog. The hours are 11-6 Mon to Sun so they aren't open for a late dinner. Their smoothies and acai bowls are great too. I typically order takeout but I know the servers are always friendly and are a good introduce to meat eaters wanting healthier.

Fiesta Salad with Tempeh added

All-vegan sit-down restaurant with salads, sandwiches and more. I stopped in for lunch and got their Fiesta Salad ($15) and added tempeh ($5). The salad came out in about 15 minutes. The portion was on the small side, coming with romaine, half an avocado, quinoa, cherry tomato, black beans, corn, and a bunch of seasoned tempeh strips. Not the most flavourful or well-designed salad, though the tempeh strips were really good. Bit of a dud as a salads go but it was fine. Maybe I didn't order optimally, but if it was their first salad listed.

I've been here several times but now that we moved to Palm City, I can say that I'm a regular. Every time we come the food is fantastic. Today I ordered one of the specials, which was so special! I loved it! It was a Sausage Flatbread made out of Sunflowers! For the Little, I got the kid's Acai Bowl and it was a very nice portion, we ended up taking some of it home. The kiddo also loved the Kombucha. I was told the ownership changed so they don't have any rotating cheesecakes, just the regular NY Cheesecake so I didn't get one today but hopefully there's a different flavor next time I come. See you soon!

Might be the Best Vegan Restaurant I've ever eaten at . Fair Prices , Large Servings , Friendly staff , Clean Minimalist Design and Easy Atmosphere. The Menu has something for everyone. Healthy , Delicious and a Good Vibe . Highly Recommended..I have tried most of the menu and always a satisfying meal . Even the Salads are very tasty. If you enjoy eating clean this is the place.

I went to Fruits and Roots this afternoon with friends for lunch. The menu offers very clean and healthy food options, so if healthy is the vibe for you, it may be a good idea to check out this place. I must say, the juice was SOOO delicious and fresh!!!! Everyone in my party tried "The Goods" and we LOVED it. Literally, the juice was 10/10 stars. For my main dish I got the Zoodle Noodle. For me, this dish was just ok. Nothing amazing but it wasn't bad. It just didn't blow me away. My friend got the grilled cheese sandwich and she was blown away by that, so that may be worth trying. I would 100% come back here JUST FOR THE JUICE!!! The juice was seriously that good.

I am not vegan but my friend with me is. We both agreed that the menu would satisfy anyone - vegan or not. The restaurant was very cutely done and the staff were very friendly and attentive. I had the (1/2) superfood salad - it was huge and delicious; and it was presented so beautifully. The broccoli soup I would pay to have shipped to my house it was so good. The All Day Tempeh sandwich was very generously sized and came with a side of seasoned blue corn chips. The sauce had a really nice spice to it. We finished with the peanut butter chocolate chip cookies - perfect ending to a great meal and dining experience.

Love coming to visit this spot whenever I'm in the area! The grilled cheese (pictured below with gluten free bread) is the best I've ever had. I usually stick to this and rarely branch out to anything else on the menu, solely because it's SO GOOD. Not sure how they get the vegan cheese to melt so perfectly, and it's combined with tomato, pesto, and jalapeños. Chefs kiss The summer rolls (also pictured) are so fresh, and they are served with a fantastic ginger peanut sauce. Other items I would recommend are the Caprese flat bread and the Buffalo cauliflower flat bread - although I should note the Buffalo is SPICYYYY!!! The soup I had on my last visit was a spinach + leek soup, and it could've used a bit more salt and/or cashew parm. Overall, would definitely recommend for anyone in the area looking for a fresh meal - even if you aren't vegan!

What can I say - this place is just magical. I always appreciate the thoughtfulness and attention to detail that goes into these dishes. Try the lion's mane "crab cake" when they have it on the menu and the black bean brownie. Two of my favorite dishes not pictured. Service always top notch.

With the lack of vegan and healthy options in the area, I'd say this is the best around. The menu seems pretty simple, but I was interested in their specials menu more. From that, I got the mushroom French dip which was sautéed mushroom inside hoagies with a side of au jus. Not bad, more one noted. Their coleslaw was different, it wasn't sweet like others but was mildly savory. I got a fresh juice which was good. My colleague got a flat bread (big portion), juice, and a fresh cashew milk. He seemed to enjoy his beverages very much but the flatbread was too hard. On another occasion I got the summer rolls and a smoothie. Great portion for smoothie! And the summer rolls were refreshing. I recommend this place if you are looking for a healthy option.

What a treat! Every menu item that we've ordered is insanely delicious! As vegans it's so hard to find food options in the area, and to have fruits & roots here is pure decadence! We've brought our non-vegan family here to eat as well and they rave about the food too! It's a win/win!

Why did it take us two years to discover this gem? You don't have to be a vegan to enjoy all the delicious flavorful items on the menu. We had an enjoyable time while having lunch. Taylor was extremely helpful explaining the menu and offered tasting samples of the kombucha so we could make our decision easier. She also offered a sample of the soup of the day. We have found our new favorite restaurant in Stuart. The Summer Rolls we're crisp and delicious. The black bean burger was perfect with the pickled onions and so were the rosemary potato wedges, these are now my go to fries...... The roasted veggie pesto panini was a good choice too. You won't be disappointed with Fruits & Roots!

Well I'm just mad I waited so long to try this restaurant. This place was fire. Everyone is so nice that works there and you can tell they really care about their jobs and the food. This is how vegan food should taste and the Buffalo cauliflower pizza is so craveable I can't wait to go back for it. The peanut sauce for the summer rolls is one of those sauces you could put on everything! I can't wait to go back and try more stuff on the menu and so glad my meat eating boyfriend loved everything we go. We even took the left overs home for dinner !!!!

It's been two days since eating the veggie burger on my visit to Stuart, Florida, and I am craving it like a dog craves beef. I love beef! Meat is totally my meal of choice. But this veggie burger... it's hearty, flavorful, crunchy, healthy, substantial, with a delicious sauce that's got a kick, on a crunchy fresh bun. I've gotta have my veggie burger!!! And the Colorado smoothie with cinnamon and kale and other healthy things is so delicious, as are those fresh summer rolls. The açaí when you add peanut butter drizzled on top is like a massive ice cream sundae. Fooled me! This place actually inspires me to healthier. Who woulda thought?? 5 stars!!!!!

Came to Stuart for a wedding and found this restaurant called Berry Fresh Cafe. I love a good diner…read moreso I was excited. Little did I know this was going to be, arguably, my FAVORITE DINER I've ever been to. Location: The spot itself is so nice. Smushed in between an IHOP and a Chinese Restaurant, Berry Fresh Cafe feels like a lighthouse-- a shinning light of amazing diner food you won't experience in other places. The restaurant has a very beautiful Grandma's house kind of vibe. It reminded me of going to my grandma's house as a kid. My favorite was the brick walls; very nice astehtic. Service: Tim was our server and he was literally the best! He was so kind and treated us like genuine family. He took the time to go over the menu and gave us great recommendations. A few other people actually brought our food and they were so kind as well! Overall, perfect service. Food: I'm going to say a controversial statement: I HATE GRITS AND DON'T LIKE HAM, buuuuuuuuut, I greatly enjoyed the ham and the grits were very good. Berry Fresh Cafe made me rethink what foods I despise. It was that good. The monstrosity that was the Rought Night Burger was everything that someone like me would love. My family got the Ultimate Breakfast Stackwich and they had nothing but great things to say. Also, their cinnamon rolls are heaven-sent. Crispy in the right places and soft in others. The food here was perfection incarnate. Price: I know prices are always a touchy subject, but this place could be a bazillion dollars and I would pay it GLADLY! Prices range from $11 - $20, which is normal for most diners these days, but again, the food was so good that I would pay it gladly. Cleanliness: Bathroom wasn't perfect, but it was definitely clean. The restaurant itself however was spotless. I get really picky when it come to clean tables --I despise sticky tables, and this place was great. My experience here is the classic example of a 5-star experience. I genuinely loved this place and will come back as soon as I can. See you tomorrow Berry Fresh Cafe PS. The place does have an 18% server charge, but they are very clear that it exists and I respect that. And service is so good that you'll want to leave more. Service was quick and served with a smile. I ordered my typical black tea latte with honey (a drink which most places have a hard time understanding let alone making) . However, here it was made to perfection. As was the breakfast I ordered which consisted of sour dough bread toast and soft boiled egg.Anthony I didn't plan on ordering a pastry, their blueberry muffin was calling my name and it didn't disappoint. If you're looking for a breakfast not a snack, this is probably not the place for you. However, if your primary interest is a coffee or tea and pastry you'll like this place. It's cute, offers indoor and patio dining and is located in the oh so cool Port Salerno area. The only negative for me (and the reason they lost a star) is the lack of breakfast items and that "cold" soft boiled egg. I'm not a fan of "cold" eggs or soft boiled eggs for that matter. However, if that works for you, give Gilbert's a shot. I believe you'll enjoy the food, service and atmosphere

When I got there I fell in love with the outdoor patio and cottage feel. Inside is small but roomy. The girl at the counter greeted me and took my order: a 16oz Pistachio Extra Hot Oat Milk Latte with no foam/no room. It was ready quickly but as soon as I picked it up I knew it had foam by the weight of it. I had 2 sips, took off the lid and my cup was less than 3/4 full and there was still more foam on top. Hence the 4 stars. It was pretty good but barista's..."No foam/No room means fill it to the rim please and I do not want any foam. I decided not to say anything but if I go back I definitely will since it was $8.25 for a 16oz cup and was really more like p8oz...just sayin' ~ and that's all I have to say about that...
