We usually have great food and service at Rippers, today however I think they have lost sight of what customer service is all about. We arrived for breakfast at 10:57 for breakfast, we looked at the menu for 4 minutes and went to the order counter at 11:01 to order (not seeing the sign saying breakfast served until 11:00). We were told that they stopped serving breakfast at 11:00. If they were busy and had already changed over for lunch I could maybe understand, in this case, the restaurant was empty short 1 table with 2 gentlemen talking, 5 people were in the kitchen area, doing nothing. I am glad business is so good for them that they can turn away customers for ordering 1 minute beyond breakfast. I doubt we will return, I know this sounds petty, but in our minds, it reflects the lack of customer attention, there are way too many choices in the area to put up with this lack of service. Rippers is a family owned diner style restaurant offering breakfast and lunch 7 days a week. Always fresh, always busy. I enjoy their breakfast egg ham and cheese on a KAISER roll and their Philly cheesesteak is on a foot long hoagie roll, enough to share. On the recommendation of a friend we decided to try this place. It's in a wear house type area. The place needs to be fixed up a bit but it adds to the ambiance of a diner. We originally wanted breakfast but the only serve it in the morning and all day on Sunday. Then we wanted the daily dinner special but we were too early for dinner. We decided to get the cheese steak sandwich. It was great, nice portion and very flavorful. We ordered sweet potato fries. You get a lot of fries. They were great. We couldn't stop eating them. You order at the counter and they bring it to you. The sodas and ice tea are self serve. Our order was made and served within 10 minutes and was steaming hot. We will be back early enough for breakfast next time. read more

I sat down for 1 hour and never received my food. I went to the order booth 3 times and each time they said they were working on it. I ordered a burger and a cold sandwich. It should have never took that long. Rippers you need to treat your customers better. I do not recommend anyone to have to go through that. What a shame! read more

Sadly, I was not impressed. I had very high hopes given the rating that I had seen. I like that it is a comfortable and casual atmosphere. Staff members were friendly and the location was super convenient. However, the steak and cheese sandwich left a lot to be desired. The onions and peppers were cooked well, but the steak was grossly under seasoned. The french fries were average, but also under seasoned. The kids grilled cheese was fine...my son enjoyed it. However, the lemonade alone is reason enough to come back. It was delicious! As was the sweet tea. Probably the best that I've had in years. I will come back to try a different meal and hope to be more satisfied. I also thought the chocolate cake looked delicious and will try that on my next trip...when I return for more lemonade and iced tea. read more

If you like old Timey diner, style food and atmosphere, this is the place. Was shopping next-door at Marble of the world and decided to stop here because it was the only place around and I'm sure glad I did. My wife just got a simple salad that was typical diner, style, nothing to write home about. I got there special which was a hot roast, beef and cheddar on a kaiser roll with fries (unfortunately they were a little old, but I did stop in after lunchtime). The price was fair and the food was good. If I'm ever in the area, I will be returning customer. read more

The food is amazing, the service is absolutely fabulous and very attentive. My brother got a really bad burn on his hand earlier today, and it started to hurt him at rippers, the woman working here gave him a bag of ice without any hesitation and sprayed cooling spray on his hand. If they're real busy when you walk in come back another time, last week I was here everything was great I came here today they're backed up and my order was just a debacle . I had to wait almost half an hour to get my order that was missing food and wasn't correct everybody's friendly in this place I really love the atmosphere and it's a popular place the food's good but they need to get the kitchen area sorted out just my opinion. I recommend trying the place but if it's extremely busy it may take longer than you want to wait read more

Rippers is our go-to. Several times a week we roll in to escape barn life, for just a few minutes. We run into the same large crowd, over and over. Everyone gets fed, and leaves happy. I like the Rippers fare and find it consistent. Mon - Thursday evening there's a dinner special. I love meatloaf Wednesday. You want to eat healthy (sort of) there are wraps and several salads to choose from. You want comfort food, fried food - the choices are abundant. Two of my personal favorites are the chicken salad, and the creamy perfectly toasted grilled cheese. Did I mention sweet potato fries? Like homemade cake snd muffins? Oh my goodness, you are in luck.
