Flavor explosions! Went to Penellies for lunch with two friends today and I will definitely go back because everything on the menu sounded good and we were all extremely happy with what we got. I had the Roasted Veggie Flatbread, and it was like little flavor explosions in my mouth. Savory and sweet with cherry tomatoes, roasted red peppers, marinated mushrooms, artichokes, goat cheese, pesto and balsamic glaze...absolutely delicious. The flatbread was nice and thin, had a nice crunch and never got soggy. I cannot wait to take my vegetarian daughter here because at so many restaurants the only vegetarian option is a veggie burger... this is fresh and vibrant and yummy! The restaurant is clean and has both indoor and outdoor seating. Basically you order at the counter and they bring it to you when it's ready so it is a casual setting and a great spot for a lunch with friends. Two thumbs up. read more

Today I had the chance to swing in and try this new cafe in town. Everything was perfect, from the location, the variety of the menu, the friendliness of the staff, the cleanliness of the entire restaurant (including the restrooms), all the way to the delicious sandwiches. I tried the Turkey & Asiago, which I would highly recommend. Every ingredient was so fresh, the sweet apple butter combined with all of the other savory ingredients were just perfect and I am so glad they did not skimp on the turkey. My daughter loved her Turkey Club, she said "it was amazing, it tasted like heaven." My mother-in-law also loved her chicken salad, she said it was the best chicken salad she had ever had, from the crunch of the pecans to the sweetness of the cranberries, it was so flavorful and unique. We decided to eat in , which was a good choice, we got a little special treatment! The women working brought over a few samples of their salads for us to try, I normally would not get a side, but these were so tasty, I really might get one on my next visit! My daughter loved the pasta salad, the ingredient/dressing ratio was perfect with a nice spicy kick, my mother-in-law enjoyed the antipasto salad and I really liked the cucumber salad. I'm not normally a vegetable girl, but the bell peppers and cucumbers and I believe they said chili vinaigrette really made for a fresh enjoyable side! So yes, I would recommend this cafe and yes, I will be back! read more

We stopped in today to grab a quick bite to take to go. We had an Italian sandwich, a chicken salad sandwich and a turkey and Asiago sandwich. EVERYTHING had great flavor, tasted so clean and the bread was fresh! We would DEFINITELY come here again! read more

The taste of every dish here is delicious! We love their chicken cutlet sandwich and I sub out the mozzarella for the burrata...unreal. You must bring back the pork belly sandwich, it was one of the best sandwiches we have ever had. The service is pretty quick and the space is quaint. read more

Penellie's menu has many choices and you will want to go back often to enjoy each one. I chose the turkey and Asiago sandwich and it was delicious. Others at my table had flatbreads and they were very good too. The owners are friendly and helpful, the atmosphere is comfortable and there is outside seating too. I highly recommend this place! I stopped to try out a sandwich before having them cater My Son's graduation party. Seriously did not disappoint. I didn't know which sandwich to get because they all sounded amazing! I ended up getting the turkey club for the first time and it was so delicious bursting with so much flavor, the bread complemented the sandwich so well, it wasn't too chewy it was perfect! The service is amazing as well. When I had My Son's graduation catered by them, we did a variety of different sandwiches, which all came out so amazing. I picked up as close to the party as possible because I was not sure how the sandwiches would hold up to my surprise the next day they were still so delicious. We did the fresh chips as well and those were a huge hit. They were so good! They were crispy, not greasy at all. Those lasted a few days after the party as well. We also did the apple slaw which was so so good. We haven't had anything from there that we didn't like yet. Plan to come back this week! Definitely recommend for lunch or catering! read more

Lunch with the ladies was fabulous! The house made chips we supper yummy and crunchy! We also had 2 of the flatbreads. One was the Carnivore and the other was the Pear & Prosciutto. Both fantastic! This is not a sit-down restaurant but they charge sit-down prices and the food isn't very good. I'd put it in line with a Panera Bread but more expensive and the food isn't as good. Don't waste your time or money. We were very disappointed. read more
