This place is such a hidden gem! If you are in the Palm Bay/Melbourne Area Anna's Vegan Plate is a must-go. The service was spectacular from the moment I walked in. Although their menu is smaller the portions are not lol. I ordered the crispy spring rolls and they were divine, the dipping said that came with it really set the entire dish off. For my entrees (plural ) I got their signature Mongolian Wonder (mild) and Eggplant Parmesan. With the Mongolian Wonder I opted for extra sauce and they surely accommodated. The dish had a savory and flavorful taste to it. I loved the use of fresh veggies. I'm not sure what they used to make the "beef" but it was cooked to perfection and went well with the sauce. The eggplant was actually my favorite dish out of the two. The way they seasoned the tomato sauce along with homemade gargle bread... I wanted to purchase one for carry out. As I was there I noticed another person ordered it as well! The iced tea and the flan were phenomenal. Overall, I would recommend this cozy place of any vegan or non-vegan.

This place was cute! We stumbled upon it and had to stop once we saw the great reviews. I ordered the Mongolian wonder, and others have stated that the portions are huge. I can confirm the portions are MASSIVE. I also ordered the Thai iced tea. I usually can't have this at other restaurants because they make it with regular milk and I'm allergic. The Thai iced tea was the best non dairy Thai Iced tea I've ever had. The prices are also extremely reasonable. Service was good! Would love to come back and try some of the other dishes.

Great portions. Delicious meals. Ordered the Vermicelli m, Mongolian, Thai tea, flan and crispy rolls. Haven't finished eating but had to comment right away. My Mongolian dish will serve me two meals. Only wish it had a little more sauce. I know once I reheat it will dry up. Even though I use a tablespoon of water when reheating some foods. Also enjoyed the brown rice. Not a big fan of it but it was good.

Anna's Vegan Plate, 3200 Dixie Highway NE, Suite 9, Palm Bay, Florida- 2.5 stars Anna's Vegan Plate is a quaint little Thai restaurant with limited seating. I can't tell you the name of my server because she didn't speak English and I don't speak Thai, a problem since I was not familiar with vegan food. As a confirmed carnivore, I would not normally choose to eat at a vegan restaurant. However, in the restaurant review game, with veganism being such a growing trend--and an estimated 79 million vegans around the world--when the random restaurant generator called up Anna's, I was put in zugzwang. I had no choice but to go. Typically, I like all kinds of food. I will eat anything. No joke. If you were to put in front of me properly prepared monkey brains or bull testicles, I'd give it a go. Anna's offers an array of fake meats you can have over a bed of vegetables and/or rice noodles. I can tell you that I enjoyed the Thai Iced Tea. It was fun, creamy, and tasty. But that is all I enjoyed. I sampled the Crispy Rolls, and found them to be bland, like flavorless Chinese spring rolls. At the other extreme with overwhelming heat even at the mild setting, was the Singapore Noodle, rice noodles, vegan chicken, mushrooms, broccoli, cabbage, carrot, onion, and bean sprouts in a curry sauce. I like spicy food, but this was ridiculously unbearable. I also ordered the Curry Vegetable Delight, broccoli, carrots, onion, zucchini, green beans, napa cabbage, with vegan chicken in a curry sauce. I really had no strong desire for it, nor any strong feelings either way. Under the circumstances, I felt the need to bring in my neighbor, Sue, as a vegan consultant. I had the food wrapped up and took it over to Sue's house for her family to discuss. Sue said that she tried the Crispy Rolls both cold and heated up and found them delicious. She thought they had great texture and enjoyed them with the dipping sauce. Her husband and daughter also gave them two thumbs up. So, there's your second opinion. Sue agreed that the Singapore Noodle was way too spicy. She said that although the noodles and vegetables were good, the fake chicken looked and tasted unappealing, chewy with a weird texture. She commented that this dish would have been better without the chicken and with way less spice. Her husband partially concurred, saying that it was indeed too spicy but that he didn't mind the chicken. Nobody had anything to say about the Curry Vegetable Delight, which speaks volumes. The Big Boy says, "If you are a starving vegan, you could eat here. I'm not, so I personally won't be back."

I must say, vegan portions tend to be large portions. Food was tasty, I had the Pad Thai with vegan chicken, figured I couldn't go to wrong there. Was good and tasty. Nice size restaurant, not too large. Friendly hostess. Steady stream of customers for take out orders too.

Try their flan! It's delicious and has such a nice texture. Their cheesecake was also good when I last tried it

Nice vegan option in Brevard. :) The food was very yummy, service excellent, nice menu mix of Asian with a few Italian and American options, and the pricing was great! They have vegan cheesecake and flan too. They made the interior as nice as they could even though the exterior is old/lacking (but you can't help that much because it is an old strip mall). It isn't fancy, but it is good! I will be returning.

My son and I stopped in for a quick snack and enjoyed the crispy rolls, summer rolls and Thai iced tea. Everything was delicious and the service was fantastic!

Anna's Vegan Plate is the third all vegan restaurant in Brevard County--the very first in the Palm Bay-Melbourne area. It is a tiny restaurant located in a strip mall, and seats around 20 people with its 7 tables (if I remember correctly). You can basically choose any open table; two tables were filled when I arrived half an hour after they opened for dinner on a Saturday night. The co-owner/wife was nice, and the owners' daughter Anna was also friendly. I immediately noticed several items I had seen on the menu images posted to social media prior to the grand opening were omitted from the menu handed to me. Some of these items were the salads, macaroni and cheese, kung pao, curry rice, and half the drinks; weird, but no biggie. I ordered the royal bun hue noodle soup with medium spice, which was a huge portion! I really like how this came with tons of veggies and both tofu and vegan beef. Even with the fan running, the room was hot and not a good combo with eating hot soup. The Thai iced tea is so good. I got a slice of cheesecake topped with almonds to-go, but I would pass on that again. It tasted like the Trader Joe's or Tofutti cream cheese. The pad Thai and eggplant and tofu dishes ordered by other diners looked great. When I went, there were no diet sodas available. An unlisted Bai drink was offered to us, though. At one point while I was there, the entire room was filled. Despite all the people inside, it was really quiet and felt awkward to speak. I will order takeout next time. Edit: I went back for takeout--ordered another Thai iced tea and tried the eggplant tofu dish that comes with brown rice and steamed veggies. Satisfying and a generous portion. I did notice cans of Diet Coke, which they did not have a few days ago when I was there.

Pad Thai and iced Thai tea. Huge portions!

This place never disappoints. I've come here several times, tried many of their dishes which are all great but their pad Thai is my absolute favorite dish. Definitely check this place out and make sure to order their iced Thai tea it's delicious and refreshing!

This one is difficult. If we rate just the food, which we generally do, it is 5-stars. Fantastic…read morefood. Everything else was certainly noteworthy. Here is how it went down. We arrive on time for our reservation. We are greeted, if that's what you want to call it, by a tall older man. I swear he looked at us like, can you really afford to eat here? So the initial interaction was rather poor. I like to give people the benefit of the doubt, so maybe he just had a bad day. Yeah, apparently not. The place is very pretty and certainly airs of a higher end establishment. After Mr. Snooty took us to our table, we were greeted by, ready for this, and even more snooty lady. Think Mrs. Howell. It's kind of like going on a date with a psychiatrist, knowing that they are judging every word that's coming out of your mouth. Lol. So after getting a lay of the land from her, we ordered some drinks, which were fantastic. Then the first course came and it was fabulous. We had the escargot and the oysters Rockefeller. Yum. The Escargot was buttery and soft. The oysters were well seasoned and perfectly cooked. We tried a lobster bisque and it was so so good. The touch of sherry was perfect. As for the Caesar's salad, this was the star of the evening. It was one of the best I've had and is what a Caesar salad should taste like. I am seriously considering going back there just for that salad. For dinner my wife had a lobster tail. She reports it was excellent. The snooty lady wanted me to try some special they had, but I went for the lamb chops. Again, perfect, medium rare. Winner. Snooty lady went uber obnoxious snooty after I didn't pick her choice. I was scared for the rest of the night. Overall price to food value, negative 100 billion. Food was fantastic. $250 for the portion sizes not worth it. Then again, even if they were bigger, not worth the price. Like I said, go for the salad and pass on the rest. Make you car payment and go to a more reasonably priced place that won't treat you like you need to have a credit report or occupation that they might approve of. Oh and they had some nice live music. That was good. Too bad, the staff put a damper on the birthday dinner.

First, our server Michael was the least skilled of any I have been in contact with over my 69 years. He showed no interest in us, had no personality, acted indifferent, and was borderline rude. He constantly reached in front of me without the courtesy of "excuse me". He didn't bother to come back to the table after serving our entree and inquire how the food was. For that matter, we never saw a manager the 2.5 hours we were there. Second, while the appetizers came in a reasonable time, the entrees took over 45 minutes to arrive. Michael apologized once and said they were plating our dishes only to return 15 minutes later. This was likely not his fault but D'Jon's had an opportunity to make it right with us but did nothing. I had had to tell Michael a second time that "this wait wasn't working for me". Third, I don't mind paying a premium price when receiving value. That is not available at this establishment. The portion size of the Tomato Salad was laughable. As was our search to find the Salmon in the seafood pasta evening special. Typically we give a business a second chance knowing that everyone has a bad day. With everything that went wrong, we will not return. The service, the food, and the wait were a complete let-down.

After looking over the menu, there were only two main options labeled vegan with a protein source. So ordered the Breakfast Club that was indicated could be served veganized. They did not have a vegan cheese or sauce option so it was left dry and plain... I made it edible with putting the pickles that were in the side inside the sandwich with ketchup. After seeing other people's reviews it looks as if you could ask for tofu scramble in lieu of scrambled eggs on be of the plate but that wasn't a menu option. Wish that option was more spelled out becuase that would have made it a more satisfying meal.

Instead, one of the main seating areas was partially taken over by strollers, toys, and other kid gear. I understand that restaurants can't control every family that visits, but the overall atmosphere felt more like a playground than a relaxing waterfront dining spot. To the staff's credit, my server was kind enough to move some of the strollers and toys so I could get a seat. Unfortunately, it had just rained and the chairs were still soaked. While I appreciated her making room for me, it would have been nice if someone had also taken a moment to wipe down the seat before it was offered to me. Instead, I had the unpleasant experience of sitting in a sopping wet chair and spent my evening here with a soggy backside, which definitely put a damper on the experience... Pun intended. I ordered a glass of Sauvignon Blanc, which was good, although I was a little surprised to receive it in a plastic cup. Maybe that's standard here, but it wasn't what I expected. For dinner, I tried the mahi tacos after seeing them mentioned in several reviews. The fish itself was good, but the tacos were absolutely covered in sauce, to the point that it drowned out the taste of everything else. Also, thatsynot what they looked like on the reviews I saw. If I knew they would have so much sauce (or any sauce actually) I would ordered it on the side. I ended up removing most of the sauce-drenched toppings just to taste the fish. I also requested a side salad and was told the only option available for a side salad was a Caesar... despite several salads being listed on the menu. I guess it was too hard to toss some salad greens into a bowl with a side if vinaigrette The parking situation is also very confusing. All the spaces indicate that parking is for guests and there is signage along the fence threatening to tow anyone who parks along the fence. I had to call the restaurant to confirm where guests could park (along the fence, as long as it is not overnight or just to go to the beach) and fortunately my car was still there when I returned from dinner. Overall, the food was decent and the waterfront location is nice. If you're looking for a casual, family-friendly beach bar, this may be a fit. However, if you're hoping for a quieter place to unwind after work or enjoy a peaceful dinner by the water, you definitely want to look elsewhere.
