They served spoiled yogurt. The staff was very rude and didn't care at all. They said they will not replace it and didn't care.

So, I haven't even made it to one of these tangy frozen yogurt places that are popping up like dandelions in the bigger cities, so I was pretty surprised that the first one I made it to was in Hillsborough. That said, I don't know how this place compares to Pinkberry and its clones, but I know I like it. Fruity Yogurt is different from a TCBY in that it actually tastes like yogurt. It doesn't try to be ice cream so you still get the tanginess and health benefits of real yogurt with real cultures. It's also got little or no fat and cholesterol so it can make for a really guilt-free dessert as long as you watch how much sugary stuff you add to it. The way this place works is you grab a cup and fill it up yourself with one of several flavors of frozen yogurt. I remember seeing green apple, taro, blueberry, mango, green tea, and a few of other flavors along with plain unflavored (but sweetened, I think) frozen yogurt. When we were there, the girl working let us try a couple of flavors before we had to choose. I liked the green tea and taro, but went with plain ole regular unflavored. Then you walk over to the toppings bar and load up. The toppings include lots of fresh fruit (mango, blueberries, pineapple, banana, kiwi, etc.), breakfast cereal, candy, and conventional ice cream toppings like sprinkles. You can make it healthy or not, it's up to you. Then it's something like 45 cents (I think?) per ounce. This can mean you'll be spending upwards of $4 or $5 if you're not careful. Fruity Yogurt is a welcome addition to Hillsborough's many strip malls, and hopefully its location won't hurt them too much. I'd like to see a place like this catch on since it's such a good, healthy alternative to ice cream and Rita's when you want something frozen. read more

Just go there, trust me. It's got great yogurt, huge selection of toppings, and a decent sitting area. Even if you're not a fan of yogurt they've got bubble tea, shaved ice, and ice cream. The only problem is it's serve yourself and pay by weight style so sometimes it can get pricey in their oversized cups. read more

The best thing to come to this strip mall in ages. Fat free, low calorie frozen yogurt with a variety of healthy toppings including fresh fruit. There are new flavors once a week or so, although some flavors tend to be mainstays such as plain, taro, and no sugar added vanilla. TRY TARO. You pay by the weight of the product. I think that Fruity Yogurt is one of the better fro-yo shops out there. It was also one if the first before they popped up ever 1/2 mile. I've tried the fro-yo, bubble tea and shaved ice. They seem to have a good variety of flavors of fro-yo and more unusual than others ( taro, black sesame, etc). They also have ice cream. The toppings bar is always neat and topped off with fresh items. Shaved ice and bubble tea is good too and they also have a variety of flavors.Love the decor very cute for a fro-yo shop. read more

I am an avid froyo enthusiast and I have to say Fruity Yogurt is by far my favorite. I will go out of my way just to visit this place. Nothing can compare to the variety of flavors offered here. Taro is by far my favorite of all. I have yet to see another place with as much fresh fruit as this place and there is always plenty of it. I can't compare this place to PinkBerry, RedMango, etc. because I haven't been to those places, but I can say that this is one of my favorite ice cream/ frozen yogurt places hands down. They have a lot of different flavors to choose from (i recommend the taro), along with a huge variety of toppings you can choose from. I usually just stick to the strawberries, mango (both are always very fresh), and mochi. The prices aren't too bad either, about what you'd expect for a serving of ice cream from any other ice cream parlor. The store is always clean, and the staff is also friendly. (They also have some other menu items now such as bubble tea and shaved ice. I haven't tried them, but i'd expect them to be about as good as the frozen yogurt) read more

I'm addicted to FroYo. And who could blame me? With the delicious flavors and topping bar...I can't resist. My favorites so far are the fruit ones. I top it off with lychees and coconut jelly and kiwis...and of course a cherry. I can't leave there without spending at least 6-7 bucks, but it is worth it. I can never seem to get to the store when they have the lychee flavor...i've been dying to try it. wished they would have a set menu online so I know what flavors they will be serving that day. read more

It's consistently creamy, not icy, with the perfect level of sweetness. They have a variety of unique flavors (I love their taro!), and no unnatural aftertaste like the frozen yogurt at other shops. The place as a good variety of yogurt and it is fun adding a many toppings as you want; as much as you want. Friendly clerks even offer your choice of color spoon. The shop is clean and staff is friendly. Make sure you got enough cash on you because you pay by the ounce. The yogurt for the two of us was a little over seven dollars. It was delicious and a healthy treat so it was worth spending a little more. read more

For my first experience at a DIY fro-yo place, Fruity Yogurt is great. They have a great selection of yogurt flavors as well as toppings. You can mix and match your yogurt as well as your toppings. The best thing about Fruity Yogurt is that you self-serve everything. Being able to make your yogurt what you want is really appealing. They have healthier fruit toppings as well as the traditional sundae toppings, so you can fit whatever mood you are in. The pay by the ounce method is great because you can get as little or as much as you (or your wallet) can handle. The staff was really friendly and offered samples of yogurt to help with the decision process. Awesome. The place is epic. They go the distance on making sure you have an enjoyable visit. Not only do they have free water, but it even has fresh cut fruit in it to show that they really are going the extra mile. The yogurt itself is fantastic. Apparently it's all homemade with actual REAL fruit. For the health conscious eaters like myself, this is a welcomed treat instead of just eating pure sugar or artificial flavors that other places use. Unlike other places too that rip you off by charging extra for wanting more than two toppings, this place is sweet because it's totally self serve and you can have as many different toppings as you want. Of all the frozen yogurt places that have popped up in the area, Fruity Yogurt will always get my vote! With all the new competition, they just keep getting better! Although they don't have as many unique flavors, their yogurt consistently tastes more natural and fresh than the others. Their bubble tea is also fantastic! More than anything else I always find myself craving a Thai Tea bubble tea at all hours of the day. It's made from a combination of powders so I'm not sure it's as authentic and fresh as it could be, but the taste alone is enough to keep me coming back. read more

Best frozen yogurt place I have ever been to! Absolutely delicious! My husband and I must go here almost every night. They always have new flavors that are all natural with plenty of toppings to choose from. My husband prefers the bubble teas which I have tried as well and the flavors taste great! It's also convenient that they are open late (until 11 pm) so that no matter what time we have a craving we know Fruity Yogurt is open! Love the yogurt. The fruit is always ripe and fresh. The only negative experience I've ever had there was when they were all out of bananas. Anyway...the yogurt isn't cheap but there's so much to choose. You can make it fruity or rich or nutty or whatever else you want. Also, there's free fruity water. SOOOO good! Fruity Yogurt is awesome. I started going here as soon as they opened- the woman who owns the place is really friendly. The yogurt is amazing, and the toppings (I usually use the fruit bar) are fresh and delicious. Try the Taro flavor (YUM!) and the mochi topping. They used to have sweet redbean topping too, but I don't see it there anymore. (I asked once and they had some behind the counter). I love it! read more

Definitely worth the stop when headed down 206, but I have to complain a bit about the drinks. Every time I've been there either my milk tea is too watery or my milkshake is too icy. The Fruity Yogurt in Princeton makes much better drinks. Fruity Yogurt is the best ice cream/ frozen yogurt there is in Hillsborough NJ. There ice cream is so rich and creamy and there yogurt is so good because there are so many choices. Like Peanut Butter, strawberry, mango, green tea, apple, and peach. Once you get your cup, and put ice cream in it then u can go and put toppings on. You can put strawberry, apples, bananas and other fruit, then there is cereal, candy, and ice cream toppings. There is hot fudge, chocolate syrup, and caramel, and strawberry sauce. They also have slushy' and there is always free water there. There place is so funky and nice that you can't resist going back again. read more

My husband and I were excited about another yogurt place but completely disappointed in the taste of their yogurt. We love the Green Cow Yogurt on RTE 22 and we hoped this place was going to be the same quality. Not even close. We will never go back...boohoo. I loved this place--something fun and diiferent, and delicious! I was intrigued by but a little wary of the idea of self-serve soft yogurt and toppings. I've been to those make-your own sundae bars where there's ice cream dripping everywhere and the fruit's dumped out of cans. I was surprised at how clean and fresh everything at Fruity Yogurt is. I had pineapple yogurt topped with pineapple, raspberries, coconut and mango. Bliss! My 5-year-old son chose green apple topped with cookie crumbs and strawberries. I was amazed that he at it all. He got a serving of yogurt and fruit, much better for him than ice cream. My husband got cranberry yogurt and my friends got chocolate and vanilla ice cream, which they all enjoyed. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars weren't enough seats for my group. The place was filled with teens, most of whom were texting or chatting, not eating.
