It's smaller than the Castle Hills one and not much as far as breakfast options (yet) but they had much more produce options. I scored some Fredericksburg peaches, cherries, cucumbers and grape tomatoes here but they also had mushrooms, serranos, potatoes and squash. Among the 4 - 5 other booths were baked goods, meats, teas and honey. While I'd love to see some more leafy greens, the Hill Country Farmer's Market is now in the rotation for my produce needs. Even with the language barrier she understood right away that one doesn't want mayonnaise on his corn... they truly catered to us and made everyone feel welcome. I loved the fact that there is an option to make your own. I was able to choose my base, 2 fruit options, and a veggie. You could tell that it had been grown in a garden, which is highly commendable. I could have bought everything the market had with a $20 bill. The prices were quite reasonable, but the selection was not what I'd expect from a farmers market. They offered some samples, which were delicious. The Food Bank was there selling wraps of some sort for $5. Hopefully, as this goes on, more and more farmers will start showing up with produce.
