Fruit cup watermelon, mango, & pineapple!

First time here. A hidden gem. The place is small, fresh & cool inside. The staff is super courteous & friendly! The place is clean. The fruit cup & mangonada are the bomb! I will definitely revisit! Worth the wait!

Love their fruit cups here. Always fresh, always big serving. Been coming here for ever. Will continue to support them.

They have so many locations and I see why. Easy great snacks at affordable prices. The girls that work there were super polite and helpful. Will be back to get my fix.

Typical fruteria. Fruit cups are $3. They also have pickles, nachos, all that Mexicano stuff. Minimum $5 purchase if using credit card. The fruit was fresh and the lady and the man, I think her husband, was really nice.

I can't remember the name of this but it's basically like a monster corn cup with hot Cheetos, nacho cheese & jalapeño! Delicious!

This is a great place for some cool snacks during the hot summer days! So glad they're staying busy, several times we've been there's a line! Totally worth it!

This is the perfect open late night spot for freshly made to order Mexican fruit cups, they have other items also like ice cream, snow cones, mango nadas and etc... they have a Simi wide variety for flavors. I ordered a large fruit cup with: strawberries, pineapples, & apples ( XTR Chile & lime added ) I was well pleased with how they cut the fruits to the perfect bite sizes even the apples!! Most places put huge chucks, but at this place your getting more bang for your buck with the fruit being cut smaller. My husband had a large traditional strawberry fruit cup ( added lime), no complaints on his behalf! So if your up late and craving some spicy & sweet stop by! +++++ KID FRIENDLY

How to curb that Texas summer heat: 1) Go to Fruteria Los Trejo. 2) Order a shaved ice or fruit cup +/- chamoy or chili from the extremely friendly owners. 3) Enjoy the air conditioning and your delicious treat inside! 4) Finish food, and you'll be ready to face that Texas summer heat once again. An authentic Mexican place with a variety of food, ranging from Mexican shaved ice, fruit cups, snow cones, corn, and aguas frescas. All perfect foods for a Texas summer! $5 for a large shaved ice will get you 3-4 flavors if your heart so desires! My favorites are mango, lime, and watermelon. Lime is muy refreshing. Chamoy and chili available on request. Cash and card both accepted (though minimum $5 purchase for card!). Owners are the nicest and friendliest people ever. Last time I was there, I accidentally inhaled the chili and started coughing (I know, rookie mistake), and the owner rushed to give me a cup of aguas frescas on the house to help me stop coughing. This is the kind of friendly neighborhood place that makes you want to keep coming back - for both the food and the people!

My favorite place to come and grab fruit cups. They also have a big bowl of fruit for parties or special occasions available for purchase.

This shop sells fudge, truffles, candied apples, and - what I came for - ice cream! They had a lot of ice cream flavors to choose from, a least a couple dozen. The smiling young woman working behind the ice cream counter offered to give tastes, but I had already figured out which flavors I wanted. I chose two scoops in a cup, one of Cappucino Chip and the other Turtle Cheesecake. They have several tables to sit at, some along a hallway and more in a back room. I took a seat and was in awe of the huge scoops given. The Cappuccino Chip had a mild flavor (I prefer it stronger) but a fair number of tiny chocolate chips. The Turtle Cheesecake had an excellent cheesecake flavor with swirls of caramel, praline pecans, and caramel-filled mini turtles. I'm usually not fond of nuts in my ice cream but I actually enjoyed the pralines. In my humble opinion, there were too few turtles. But I still loved it. If you're in the mood for a cold, creamy treat while visiting the Alamo, you'll find this to be the perfect place to visit.

The real issue came at the cash register. The woman handling payments was, unfortunately, not kind at all. In fact, "rude" would be the most generous description. It actually took my wife about ten minutes just to complete the payment for a couple of ice creams, which felt longer than the ice cream itself took to melt. What made it even more uncomfortable was watching how she interacted with other employees. It wasn't just unprofessional--it was the kind of scene you'd expect in a low-budget psychological thriller where you start wondering if someone should call for backup. So while the ice cream itself and the front-line staff were great, the overall experience was overshadowed by the atmosphere at the register. Small, crowded, and unkind is not a combination that brings us back. We'll pass next time.
