In a loud, rude and sarcastic manner. I apologized to her for not hearing her, and of course she ignored that. What rude behavior not only to myself but to the customers who she was checking out at the check stand. I won't be back. Managers: maybe give your workers more training in customer service and stop training them to shout down everyone who walks in and out of the store.

My friend is a customer there. This was the opposite at this store. After being passed off to the manager by a sales associate, she asked us if "we were there to buy shoes". Is this store a front for something else? What did she think we were in there for? I felt like we had to apologize for walking into the store. We were made to feel as if we were bothering them. Perhaps the employees could be taught to act happy or glad that we walked in. Perhaps they could engage in friendly conversation with customers. Suggest something! This could and should start with the manager. Who knows, with a little different attitude by these store employees, we might have bought something in this store. I was here for the Sketchers and they have a larger selection than most department stores. I have to try on shoes because I need arch support and a wide toe bed, so ordering online isn't an option unless I am ordering a repeat of an existing shoe. Spent a good 45 minutes going up and down the aisles, trying on shoes, putting them back. It was a bit exhausting since this is a do it yourself shopping experience and I felt badly leaving a dozen boxes of shoes on the bench. Wish I had left a popcorn trail cause I spent so much time trying to put them back or find them to try a different size! It's a bit overwhelming. Left with a pair of black slip on Sketcher sandals and AdidasCloud sneakers in baby blue, a total random purchase, after checking online to make sure the prices were the best. I highly recommend doing this as some of the models I could buy through Amazon or Zappos for less. Was very happy with my purchases and have since been to other Famous Footwear locations.
