The worst service of any supermarket I've ever shopped in. Today I attempted to purchase a few items and go through the self check line. One of the items required age verification. A Fry's employee was four feet away but would not come over to the scan station until I asked. I waited a good 5 minutes while she conducted a convo with another employee. Eventually she can over and inserted her card and age verification info. However, this put the scanner into another screen requiring an employee. At this point she ignored any requests for help. I've applied for cashier position on two occasions in recent months. I am told by the actual store manager to "please apply yes yes yes we are hiring". Then I'm told by another manager they're not hiring when I called to follow up on both occasions. So unprofessional! Then I get an email from corporate saying they've gone with another candidate. Why would they go with another candidate if they weren't hiring? If you're looking for a job, do not bother with this store, you will only experience disappointment. I've shopped Kroger stores for 20+ years, this Kroger store is an insult to the brand. I have experienced the self check out areas to be quite dirty, especially the platform area. I've worked in the cashier realm for over 30 years, it is quite easy to keep up with cleaning those areas at least hourly during the peak hours. I've been shopping at Frys ever since moving here in 2004. I've learned when the best times are to come here to avoid the crowds. I have a loyalty card, which helps me save 10-40 cents a gallon of gas when I tank up. Shop before 8am or after 8pm. Avoid the first Wednesday of the month as that is when retirees flood the store for their 10% discount. The deli isn't stocked until 10:30, and no baked chicken until later. I do like their deli offerings. Best deals for that is late afternoon. I find their meats and chicken cheaper here than Safeway. Always check the ads. They often have unannounced specials. The aisles are wide enough for two carts to move through. It can get crowded in the vegetable aisles, though. I wasn't crazy about the company switching to self-check lanes. I prefer a large load to be checked by an employee, rather than me being watched by a high schooler. There are usually two lanes with employees for that, but they can get long. Parking is plentiful. read more

Ordered groceries for pick-up time of 6-7pm. Received a phone call that the orders were taking longer to fulfill, and pick-up would be closer to or after 7pm; cool, no problem. I arrived at the store around 6:50 and put in my spot number. Noticed after a few minutes one of the employees was telling people to leave, they couldn't fulfill orders, but didn't think much of it. After half an hour of waiting, I checked the app - my order had been cancelled. No email or text notice it was cancelled, and the worker at the store never approached me like they did the other customers waiting. They let me sit there for half an hour thinking I was still on track to get my groceries. Terrible service, and half the time the items I want are in stock when I add them to cart, but suddenly out of stock the next day when I go to pick up groceries. read more

First time shopping here. Walking into the store, I was like WOW! It is HUGE compared to the store I used to shop at where I moved from. The store itself is HUGE. Lots of variety of brands. Lots and lots of.... everything. As for prices, some are higher than other places, some are lower. You just gotta know, and shop around. I was in this store yesterday and one of the items that I was purchasing were Sugar Free Popsicles. I wanted to purchase two because they were buy one get one free but there was only one box remaining. I asked the cashier to call a manager to explain the situation. I told her if there were 2 boxes of the sugar free Popsicles I would purchase them, but only one was remaining. She refused to adjust the price and told me to get another item on the ad that I did not want, nor like. I just moved to the area as this was my second time shopping in this store. Our first time to shop at a Fry's. We needed a few things so we thought we would go in and see how it was. It was just OK, nothing special and the prices were not that great. Store appeared to be very cluttered and you have to have a membership card to get any of the specials they have on sale. Never have been able to figure out why a store like this has to insist you get one of their membership cards to get a special sale price that is usually the regular price at Walmart and if it is not they will match it. and why would anyone want a company like this to track what you go and what you spend in a store??? read more

Under no circumstances should you shop at this store. I've tried going in and shopping in person, but the employees are almost universally rude and very poorly trained, having no knowledge of item location or quality of product. I've done the online shopping and pickup thing, but life is short and I do not wish to spend 93 minutes sitting in a parking lot with a dismal view waiting for them to deliver 5 bags of groceries 50 yards from their door to my truck. I just tried having them deliver groceries to me in Tombstone, but they use Instacart...need I say more? Apparently the person who did the shopping charged 223.50 to my card, adding items that were not on my order (which was originally 179.00), then claimed she couldn't find my home...then when called on that claimed no one answered the door...I've been home all day. Then Instacart says nothing was charged to my card and the order was cancelled, but I informed the rep on the phone that I was looking directly at my bank statement online and there are four separate charges to my card! And neither Fry's nor Instacart will refund the purchase I never received so I will be forced to do a chargeback through the bank, which will take at least two weeks. There is literally zero chance that I will ever give another dime to this store or to Instacart. I hope Angelica (the shopper from Fry's/Instacart) enjoys my mint chip ice cream while she can, because we all know what karma does eventually. read more

Shop today after Thanksgiving and the people traffic was very light ! So nice. Well it was 3pm and I hadn't eaten lunch so I pick up some sushi. They make it fresh and I've had eaten there once or twice. Today's choice was horrible, I was disappointed that I didn't get ginger & wasabi, the tempura shrimp was fired beyond recognition and the creamy sauce on top was just yuck. I ate two pieces and threw the rest away, so sad to waste of $8 bucks. I'll try it again but look very carefully at the product before buying. read more

Though I lived in Cochise County for four years before I ever could get into this store, and I had heard horror stories about its prices, I finally got the opportunity to visit, and now it's one of my favorites. Yes, prices are higher than other grocery stores, but quality of products is also high, and the courtesy, friendliness, and efficiency of the personnel are also high. As to prices, be sure to watch the sales flyers and the ads, and, above all, be sure to have or to get a loyalty card. The card ensures you get the sale prices, and it helps you save on gasoline, too. By the way, one product I crave ... well, I might even be addicted ... is the Dr Pepper equivalency. Walmart's Dr Thunder has been my choice for years, but the Kroger brand, Dr. K -- and Fry's is a Kroger affiliate -- is as good and is frequently on sale at a price lower than Walmart. Again, watch for sales, and Fry's will beat all the other stores. This store is large, well-lighted, spacious without the aisles being blocked by items to be stocked, and the store carries probably everything you could want, including organic. With inflation clobbering almost all of us, you really do need to watch the ads, at every store and for every item. Shop carefully, and you too should find Fry's a great place to shop. read more

Starbucks in fry's has the rudest employees. I asked for light ice and no strawberry pieces & they gave me my drink with strawberry pieces and I asked them NICELY if I could please get it remade with no strawberries and they decided to just strain it and fill the cup with ice and this is what they gave back to me. My drink is not even filled. As I proceeded to ask for a refund, the employees behind the counter were saying smart comments and covering there mouths as if i don't know they aren't talking about me. They didn't even tell the other coworker she had whipped cream on her face while trying to give me my receipt. Sounds like fake friends to me. But if you have enough time to mess around, they can fix my easy drink order. The lady at customer service said they have gotten many complaints about this starbucks so looks like a management problem. Do better. read more

There is so much to love about Shopping at Fry's. Their Mega sales are definitely worth shopping at and if you upload your digital coupons with the Fry's Rewards Card you can save lots of money on your grocery trip and gas! There is also the Friday freebies that you can take advantage of by uploading it that item to your card on Fridays. One time I was able to score a free little bag of M&Ms (yay me). Another positive is their inviting little fruit stand for kids in the produce department. You can take a piece of fruit for free from this little stand for your kiddo to enjoy and to help make the shopping trip easier, and prevent a "hangry" child. It's a win-win. While I do the bulk of my grocery shopping elsewhere, I do enjoy the savings I get in diapers, baby items, and detergent! Sometimes you can score detergent for as low as 99 cents if you plan your trips and have the right coupons during their Mega sales. The only downside to this Fry's is that the aisle feel cluttered to me, the paper towel aisle and detergent aisles in particular. Actually a lot of aisles have too many displays and the layout is almost maze-like so its hard to really navigate the store if you are not familiar where the items are already. Also, avoid going on the first Wednesday of each month unless you are a senior citizen!. This is usually their senior citizens discount day and it is always jammed packed! Worst Pharmacy Ever In The Entire World. Avoid! Fry's Rx # 6267323 Original Rx said for affected eye. My left eye is infected. 1) Normally I go to CVS, but they didn't have the Rx in stock so this is my first and hopefully very last time I ever will go to Fry's Rx. 2)Dropped off Rx, When asked, I said "Not allergic to any medications" They said 1.5 hours it will be ready. 3)Called after 1.5 hours before driving to pick up. The Rx wasn't even started yet. Was told they will work on it ASAP and will be ready in 20 minutes. 4) In 25 minutes, was told they needed to call the doctor because it didn't state which eye. I responded, I know which eye is infected. 5) After contacting the doctor, I picked up Rx. It says on the receipt QTY 5 I received one package. It says right eye. It's my left eye. It says I'm allergic to Zoloft When asked, I said "Not allergic to any medications" So that's three errors in a single Rx. Who is mismanaging this chicken-shit run place? read more

This rating is strictly about the horrible wait at the deli. Every time I have been in the store for the past 2 years, there is a LONG wait and I wonder how much food they throw away because people really don't want this bad service. Yesterday, I waited 25 minutes for 1 piece of baked chicken. While I was waiting, I went to customer service to complain and tried to get paper complaint forms. There were none. They gave me an 800 number to call and after listening to many choices, there were none related to customer service. Then found a manager who told me she was only in charge of the front of the store. I don't want an apology. I want you to fix this problem and get the deli in line with the rest of the store. And this is what I got, when I emailed a complaint on their site: Dear Valued Customer, "Due to an increase in email volume, we are currently experiencing a delay in replying to your email. Is there a run on produce? How about meats? It seems like we walked in to a wiped out store. No carrots (unless I wanted overpriced organic carrots) and it was similar with other varieties of produce I was looking for. Ended up at Wal-Mart to get our produce. The guy in produce was friendly enough and apologetic and pointed to the produce manager regarding what was stocked/not stocked. The meat department, however, was a little different story. The freezer containing the chicken that was on sale was completely empty. The only pork butt roasts available were around 20 lbs - I asked the meat department if they had any that were under 10 lbs or if they could get us one under 10 lbs and I got a stern "NO, we don't do that!" Absolutely the most terrible customer service of any grocery store I've ever been to. A line of AT LEAST 10 people, and that's being conservative, were in line with only ONE cashier. Deli department was so unpleasant due to the lack of any customer service interaction. I almost felt like apologizing to the clerk as I was leaving for bothering her. We don't have many choices in Sierra Vista but at this point paying higher prices at Safeway is looking more and more appealing. Oh, BTW they left a bag out of my cart and now I have to dig the receipt out of the garbage and prove what was left behind, drive back to the store and stand in line. I can't recommend Fry's Pharmacy highly enough. The employees are knowledgeable and professional, as well as compassionate. On November 19, I was very ill and had trouble getting my prescription faxed to them. After I picked up a paper copy of the prescription I brought it to Fry's pharmacy and they discovered it was the wrong medicine. The pharmacist took the time and called the medical provider and straightened it all out in a remarkably short time given the circumstances. I can only say that Ethan and his co-workers are outstanding in their attention to detail and customer service. read more

This is my most frequently used grocery and it has almost everything I need. I find it lighter than Safeway and more modern so I prefer it. There's a small but decent organic section and meat/deli area that are my favorite spots for fresh on the go fare in town. Now, some criticisms: 1. The salad bar isn't open early enough for people popping in on their the way to work. It need to open about 7-8 am like Safeway. 2. The deli workers are really unfriendly and don't ask what you want in a timely fashion. 3. It's too crowded (all the time) and the parking lot is a nightmare. 4. Limited amounts of floral selections (greens etc) 5. Need to rotate ready to go meal kits. They've had them same flavors for months. Change them up! Overall a decent store but already too small for the community. It could improve its customer service in many ways. Try "click list"--they'll deliver groceries to your car and save you the headache of the crowds. read more

Over the New Year's weekend they were out of roasted chickens at noon on Sunday, I was treated extremely rudely by a produce guy and while flustered ended up with a bunch of rotten asparagus for $4, the frozen salmon that I bought was mushy and inedible and I was overcharged for a bottle wine and had to spend 15 minutes with customer "service" to get my $2 back. I love this store!! Especially since it has expanded, remodeled and has a Starbucks. The staff is mostly friendly and I end up spending half the money on what I buy because they always have something on sale and with the coupons....saves a ton! The Starbucks kiosk is very slow and I hardly go there. Huge produce section including organic options, great bakery with single slices of cake (yum), tons of frozen options and and freash meat and seafood. They even have a Starbucks and a place to sit to enjoy items from the deli. They also offer a pretty decent gluten free selection which includes an entire stand of all udi's items: white bread, whole grain bread, millet bread, cinnamon raisin bread, hamburger and hotdog buns, bagels, muffins and variety of cookies. In their meats section they offer lots of healthier chicken and beef option like grass fed etc. Sometimes it can get a bit busy but they staff adequately. read more
